What a blessing this school has been. Both of my children love going to school every day and are learning at such a high level. I couldnt ask for a better place to send my children to school. The lessons that are taught carry through to the home and make us so proud. Thank you GLS!

My son is 5 years old and was attending this school one day a week during the summer until his summer program ended (prior to starting kindergarten). He has a disability but doesnt require additional assistance as far as daycare is concerned. He is fully potty trained, talks and feeds himself etc.After summer school finished he was going to be attending for the full week. This was discussed with the school staff prior to his registration and everything was fine. On the Thursday of his first full week of attendance, I received a call saying that the school cannot meet his needs as they dont have enough staff and he could no longer attend. I asked if there was an incident or something that I should know about. I was told no, they just dont have adequate staffing to meet his needs. This school was completely unprofessional as there was full disclosure of his disability and he had been attending every Friday for about a month prior to this. When I went to pick up my son on the said day, I asked again why was he being kicked out of the daycare and was told that other parents were complaining that he had hit or kick their child. I could understand this as a problem but only if I had been told about these issues prior. What I was being told was news to me. I asked everyday when I picked him up about how his day went and was ALWAYS told that my son had a great day and everything was fine. I feel like my child was discriminated against because of his disability.

My son is 5 now and has been at Grace Lutheran for 3 years. We absolutely love it, if you can afford private school this school is a fantastic option! Everything is clean, there are tons of family involved activities as well as music and gym, etc for even the smaller kids. My son LOVES going to school and has made so many friends! I plan to keep him here through 8th grade if I can!Anytime I have had any issues or needed help on anything they have been totally helpful. We meet the other parents for football practice with the city etc, which is all done outside of the school with the city of winter haven.The school is a little bit pricey but that is private school anywhere in my opinion. Like I said, my son is very happy here and so am I. The pre-k teachers were amazing and his kindergarten teacher thus far has been great.If you need a safe, happy, faith based place to take your kids, this is it!!!!!

I have to get this off my chest.... Grace was a good school for the first year Untill Mr.wittcop left, I have to be honest this last year was hell!. They do not accommodating children with special needs! My child is not artistic, she just had a simply 504 plan that required her to get extra help. The fact that the lady that help the children, didnt study in school how to better help children with special needs. That bothers me. So call Christian school would take my money for next year before I even got my Baby test scores. So my child score below average so a lot worst that last year. So I told them I have to reevaluate my leaving situation to accommodate my daughters needs I gave them $300.00 they gave me back 80.00 what kind of Christian faith base school does stuff like that..... so before you send your child please ask and listen ..... WORST SCHOOL EVER

I love this school and the staff.Update: after loving this school for over 2 years, I have to say that last year was very taugh for my kid.Having incidents all the time, they hired young adults to watch kids, but instead of watching your.kids they are in their phones. They never see Anything, but when my kid stand up for itself, they wrote a incident report.Also, theres a lot of bullies, I notified several times the incidents, the teacher and principal talked to the students, but nothing changed.After all the headaches, I decided to change my kid to another school. So far, is doing awesome and havent had any incidents.
