This place is so amazing that I want to come back to there so I dont become so sluggish everyday in covid-19.

I enjoy going here. The teachers (Thay Dang & Co Kim) are very helpful and nice. When teaching, they always try their best and they explain everything thoroughly. They give the students steps and keys to do the techniques properly. Not only do I feel confident in myself, I also have pride and respect for myself and others. Thay and the instructors are always there when I need help. I can tell the students here feel the same way I do because its always a comfortable and encouraging environment. I love going here to learn and hang out with the other students.

I have been studying under Grand Master Dang Huy Duc for about 8 years. Within those 8 years I have learned a lot about Martial Arts. However, more importantly is that I have developed a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Martial Artist. Martial Arts consist of two parts, the physical and the mental. Grand Master Dang Huy Duc has a strong emphasis on developing every students mental power. This school offers a unique opportunity of learning how to improve oneself through rigorous practice. Because of this and the quality of teaching, I know that I will always find a reason to continue to go even as I get older.

I’ve been a part of this family for about two years, and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. This environment is filled with enthusiasm and encouragement that I always feel at home regardless of the intensity of any of the practices. I strongly support Thay Duc’s philosophy in that laziness is looked down upon and not inaccurate techniques, which is what I feel other places focus more on. Students here are always given opportunities for success. Experienced students have one-on-one lessons for a brief period during practice with those that struggle or are behind, knowledge and experiences are shared with each other, and we laugh together. Before I decided to sign up here, I went to a previous school of martial arts and I can honestly say I regret nothing about transferring schools. I definitely feel like I learn a lot more here about the world of martial arts in addition to the physical boundaries I thought I had, compared to other places. Day by day, I always improve on at least one thing and this gives me a lot more confidence in myself. This establishment and family is something that simply can’t be judged and explained with a couple stars; it deserves much more than that :)

This place is recommended and this Tae-Kwon-Do academy is different from the others. The Grand Master gives us keys on how to do a technique which other schools dont give.

This academy is a very well established school taught by Grandmaster Dang Huy Duc. Grandmaster utilizes all of his many years of previous experience in martial arts to teach his students various aspects of Tae Kwon Do. His lessons are very simple to understand for any student of any age, and still effective as seen through the many champions that have achieved great accomplishments under Grandmasters teachings.This is a disciplined school while also providing a safe, protected, home environment. All instructors are ready and willing to help at any given moment and give assistance to those who may need it. Not only does this school help strengthen the physical aspect of the students, but also primarily emphasizes on the students mentality. Along with easy to comprehend techniques, students are taught various mannerisms, including respect, integrity, honesty, leadership, courtesy, patience, perserverance, and much more in which they will be able to apply to their outside community, such as their school and home.In my experience, I have studied and trained under Grandmaster Dang Huy Duc for almost five years. I have seen myself grow and mature over the course of the years. I first came into this school frightened, immature and weak. I felt frustrated as I felt I could never achieve anything, but Grandmaster encouraged me to never give up and through his advice and teachings, he shaped me to become the best of my potential in all surroundings. He would notice whenever I fall behind and he would motivate me to keep on going forward as there are only two options - move forward to achieve your goals, or fall behind and never be successful. Grandmaster dedicates himself into ensuring that all of his students become successful in their lives. I strongly encourage anyone to enroll themself or their child to this school interested in not only learning Tae Kwon Do, but also help become a better person in their community.

Ive been going to this school for over 7 years and I have never looked back since. Grand Master Dang Huy Duc always teaches from his heart, and is NEVER lazy or is iconsistent during his teachings. Grand Master Dang Huy Duc not only teaches martial arts but teaches kids how to be better people in society. Grand Master also teaches kids how when you put your mind and body together, you create power and knowledge and that will get you far in life. I have never ever see Grand Master try and take the easy way out. Grand Master will put all of his dedication to teaching his students no matter how hard and long. Grand Master teaches us about the noble spirit and how that is how you tell between a hero and coward. Grand Master makes sure that all of his students are put on the correct path in life and will always come out successful. This school will teach anyone the path of a hero, and that to me was Grand Master Dang Huy Duc greatest dream, to make sure people come out to be successful people in society. I can 110% recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn and grow and benfit not only yourself, but everyone else around you.

I am a 2nd Degree black belt, a student of martial arts under the teachings of Grand Master Dang-Huy-Duc. I have received guidance from seniors and instructors whom have experienced decades worth of knowledge and principals of Martial Arts. The teachings here are of highest priority to all students and learners, as those who are dedicated come to understand. Thây Duc has been teaching for over 54 years and over time he has learned, taught, and formulated his experiences to pass it down to further generations down the bloodline of Tae Kwon Do and continue the traditions of martial arts. As for me with a total of 6 years of practice, I have never seen Thây Duc or any of the instructors unwilling to help or teach any of the students. These people have dedicated much of their lives, especially Thây Duc, who has dedicated his whole life into what he puts out for the world and for each and every student.Here are my thoughts,6 years ago I walked into the studio of Thây Duc, my parents came to sign my brother and I up for Tae Kwon Do, and at first I thought I could be like Jackie Chan in those martial art movies, but from experience, there is an important lesson here. Martial Arts is not ONLY for fighting, never has it will, never will be. Martial Arts trains the minds of students to strongly pursue, be dedicated not only to martial arts, but to education, work, and everything in life. The philosophy of our school is to not attack the weak, but fight ourselves. In reality, you will come to realize that the true foes to our life-span is ourselves, our fatalities, our weaknesses, and our habits. The true meaning behind martial arts is to combat ourselves, to become a better person than we were yesterday and to be kind to the world around us. If you are deciding to join, you must remember the ways that Thây Duc will teach you. When you enter through the front door, clear your mind of the outside and come inside with a clear conscience dedicated for the school, but when you leave, take the martial art spirit with you and apply it to your everyday life and trust me, it will improve. Respect, dignity, confidence, and gratitude shows a great deal in the real world and can be applied everywhere you go. Do not wander off and brag to your friends about your belt or try and pick fights, dont instigate fights either. Martial arts puts a multitude of experiences into a person, not only will it change who you are, but under the guidance of Grand Master Duc, who has put his whole life into the studies of Martial Arts, you will come to understand who you are, what is your true potential, and a place of flexibility and balance for your martial art life and the life outside of it.And for me? This school has done a many great things for me, and the fee we pay? This payment is a debt for the school, for our home.
