My son took the 4-hour online Driver Awareness class on Saturday and completed his written in-person test today. He passed on the first try! Off to the DMV on Friday for his permit. Mary in the Westminster office was so accommodating and great at explaining their programs. Summer was so helpful getting us set up with the class, and Deborah was great at answering questions from the beginning. Im impressed with DriveSafe and their outstanding level of customer service and professionalism!

Drive safe is the best driving school ever! Drive safe has the best driving instructors I have ever met! I had my second 2 hour driving lesson at drive safe with Michelle. She has taught me so much about driving and is an awesome driving instructor. Michelle has helped me with improving my driving in so many ways and the entire time she was kind, encouraging and helpful, we worked on a lot of key skills and she taught me so many safe driving techniques. She helped me to feel more confident while driving. Thank you Michelle and drive safe team for the great driving lessons.(1st Driving Lesson)I learned so much during my driving lesson with Kendall. She’s an awesome driving instructor, she went over so many driving skills with with me and explained everything to help me feel more comfortable as a driver. It is so relaxing and reassuring when you are learning here. Their instructors were extremely knowledgeable and welcoming which kept me at ease allowing me to perform decently. I came without any experience but now that i drove with them I learned a lot more and now excited to continue driving.

I spoke to an office staff member, I think her name was Mary today and I had to respond and let you know she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how this whole driving process works! She also gave me great advice on how the Colorado DMV process works these days. I am going to enroll my grandkids with DriveSafe, it seems the easiest way to go and now I actually think I learned the whole process quite well with the assistance that received today. Thank you!

My instructor Trine Warren was supportive and very knowledgeable.She made me feel very comfortable during my one hour drive class and was very kind.She gave proper instructions well in advance during the class and helped me learn more with all minute details.Because of her kind behavior it was ease for me to give my best.Trine you are awesome and thank you!!!!Regards-Preeti

Very unprofessional!!! This place is a scam to try and get more money out of you. My son paid $95 to take a drivers exam here which the instructor failed him for something we had practiced 100s of times, so I know he didnt do! She then tried to enroll us in a three day class for another $295! The very next day we scheduled the exam with another school, which he passed, first try!

I retract my last statement regarding the employees at this location, the owner as you see below is very unprofessional as well which explains why the staff is. I find it very UNPROFESSIONAL to share my ADULT DAUGHTERS version of her experience in your staffs words. But like every situation if we werent there we truly dont know what REALLY happened or what was said. Making it look like she was upset because she failed in your response to my review is completely inaccurate and she was not upset about failing, failing is part of life, it was the way she was treated!!!!! It is unfortunate that pointing out the fact she is an ADULT should make others weary as well. Best wishes to all your future paying clients may their experience be better than my ADULT DAUGHTERS! 😉

Awesome place to learn how to drive from! The instructors are all very nice and give you great instructions. On my last drive I had Kendall as my instructor and she gave me some very helpful tips and prepared me for me test. Overall great last drive!

If I could give this a 0 stars I would. What a money hungry scheme ! If you get put with Kevin just be prepared to automatically fail. He failed the girl that took the test before my daughter and failed my daughter too. My daughter drives fine and there is no reason she should have failed. He was rude in the first 20 seconds of meeting him. He is rude, gives snarky comments and has no personality what so ever. If you fail even though it says you can retake the test for a small fee that is a lie ! They want to charge you the fill $89 and try to charge you an hour long driving session too. Oh and he took his mask off when he enters the building with everyone around! What a joke of a company! Will never use again!

I had a gentleman named Kevin as my instructor for my driving test. He was very fair. I made a casual joke at the end about passing from the infamous Kevin. Which he no longer works there. Everything was very fast and easy and they were very proffesional. Thanks westminster location!

I really enjoyed it there. For my first time there I was extremely nervous, but the staff were welcoming and nice.My instructor, Kevin, was nice, humourous, and helpful. He helped me learn my mistakes and gave advice on how I can do better.Another fact was the cleansiness they kept. Sanitizing and keeping hygiene well.Overall it was a good driving school, I didnt really have any complaints.

This place is a joke. The testing guy was rude and not very attentive. He gave little feed back after he tested my son but the feedback that was given was a lie. I think they take advantage of the fact that they are testing kids and hold power over them. Then use this power to get more money for classes and tests. Funny how I called and right away they offered another free test. I insisted on another location because the reviews for this location are alarming. The high school down the street has many kids that speak of how this place is a scam. They are taking full advantage of the DMV being closed during COVID. Shame. Also my husband had to take a test at one of their other locations and was passed right away. I suppose the knew they could not screw him around.

I did an hour refresh drive and then drive test (during COVID times). Everyone was very nice, masked, and organized. Great instruction!I’m an adult who lived in cities for 15 years. I got my license in high school, but after city living when it came time to renew I didn’t feel at all confident I could drive. So I got a state ID so I would have to take the test again before driving again.I started by calling the number on the website and (3 separate times/people) was always met with kind, helpful, clear service. They scheduled me at the closet location and was able to schedule back to back. Super easy!I had “Coach” for both drive lesson and test. He was super clear and informative. He was simultaneously relaxed and motivating. When test time came he was very clear about the expectations, how it would be different (practice talking and lots of help, can ask questions versus test, not allowed to answer questions and required to remain silent). Excellent teacher!Overall I highly recommend DriveSafe. They are very professional, supportive, knowledgeable, and easy to learn from. Fair pricing, excellent customer service.

I had a great experience at this center for my training and test. My trainer Trine was a gem of a person! She was very patient and helpful especially considering that I was driving after 3 month hiatus and and didnt exactly feel confident about it. Would highly recommend!

If I could have left Zero stars I would have. Huge Money Scheme! Dont waste your time or money attempting a driving test here if you can wait for Driver License Office to open back up - they will fail you for the craziest things! My son got failed because he did not look in the rear view mirror after going through an intersection and because he did not look in his rear-view mirror after COMPLETING a lane change... amongst about twenty other crazy unheard of violations Ive never heard of in my 25yrs of driving.

My son had a great experience, he completed the classes over the summer and test in November. It was easy to set up drives, he is confident in his driving and I feel he is a safe driver.

Kevin was the worse possible driver ever. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you do not drive with him he is very rude, didn’t have a mask on the whole time ( my mother is a health care worker) He gave me all the directions at last second and then failed me. I’ve seen about 3 of 4 reviews on this one man and I can tell you that he ruined my whole experience with being how nervous I already was he made me extremely uncomfortable. I’d recommended a whole different site or even a whole different company.

The folks at Drive Safe were great! Super knowledgeable and works directly with the state DMV. Process was easy and reasonably priced!

Kendall was a great instructor to drive with I would recommend having her as an instructor. She has a passion for driving and she clearly cares about the drivers learning!

I had such a great experience with this particular driving school. I’ve had 4 instructors because of my hectic schedule during the course of my driving school and all were amazing! I would highly recommend this school to everyone who needs help before taking their driving exam.

One person brought this review down from a 5. Kevin was his name and he was horribly rude and unhelpful during my sons driving test. He failed him for a very ambiguous rule within a school zone and I’m not even sure he was correct in his ruling! He was short with me as well and didn’t even wear a mask most of the time. It almost felt as though he was failing him just to do it because that’s what he always does and he wanted us to spend more $$ to take the “practice” test.All of the other folks we dealt with over the past year we’re very nice and helpful. Kyle, Trine, the Other Kevin (who passed my son on his second try) the ladies at the front desk, etc...It’s a shame one person brought this whole review down. He does not belong in a place like that doing a job like that.

Very happy with this driving school! My son did very well with it. Each instructor he had seemed to give him something new to work on.

We took our daughter there. We all were pleased with the results. They did a good job.

Instructor did not once speak to me directly in discussing the results of my test, choosing to speak only to my father despite me being a grown adult *and* the person taking the test. He explained that I failed the test, but would not explain what I actually did to fail. After we asked him to explain, he seemed to nervously glance down as he says, Um, the DMV doesnt want their documents disclosed. After that, he says, Look, Im not a salesman..., and proceeds to give me a sales pitch for expensive lessons. I walked away feeling disrespected and dissapointed. To be completely honest, this sounds like a scam to me.

At least one of the driving instructors here is discriminatory against males. They treated males drivers with borderline disgust, whereas the female drivers recieve special treatment. Customer service is shoddy at best. Gruff and curt are 2 words that come to mind. It would be Ill advised to attend any classes here or take any tests, male or female.

Would recomend DriveSafe Driving School to anyone. Especially, people relocating from an another country and having a valid driving license.Their Instructors know exactly the needs of their students, their strengths and weaknesses. Their Customer Experience management is awesome, with fully digitized operations, right from booking an appointment, instructions behind the wheel, demonstration drives and finally objective evaluation of a person while he/she drives.They do not deal with Cash and everything about Drive Safe is thoroughly professional

Do not go to either wheat ridge or northglenn all they have is incompetent women instructors who are not knowledgeable....find another place to take ur kids to.....they are horrible will not go back again

WOW, Im not a fan of writing poor reviews but I am extremely disappointed with the service. My daughters driving instructor for her license test was very unprofessional. Along with making her cry he made some disrespectful comments in front of everyone. He asked who taught her how to drive and said we did not do a good job. Interesting because the next day we went somewhere else and she passed. Please go somewhere else for your driving test, theres no need for people to make you feel like a horrible parent, or put your child down.

With DriveSafe I would not suggest taking the driving test cold. Unless the driver has driven extensively in the specific area where the driving test is conducted the driver is likely to fail. The instructor was very nit picky with my young driver and none of the infractions cited were legal or safety issues.

Very happy that I took classes and took a driving test there. I had some experience of driving 10+ years ago, but occasional and short term. The classes I took here helped me to feel more comfortable and more confident, instructors gave me a lot of tips on what to do and what not to do, and after practicing the skills I was able to pass the test. The instructors are very knowledgeable, polite, supportive. I also had a pleasant experience when I needed to call the office with a question. Definitely would recommend the school to anyone who wants to learn driving, improve the skills, or prepare for the test.

Kevin is horribly rude and tricks the driver during drivers tests. Also breaks confidentiality and discusses previous drivers. When you ask for directions he silently puts his hand up to silence you, docks points for lifting your mask AT A STOP SIGN (they’re mandatory and those thing slip sometimes omg), lies about what streets you take, tells you to turn wayyy too late, along with many other issues. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Also if he finds out you learned to drive from a family member vs an expensive class, he insults you and seems so disgusted. Take your money and business elsewhere!

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Manager is rude unhelpful arrogant etc. this was after they took my $729.00 . Beware do not use this company they will not refund your money without a fight

Dont waste your money. I purchased 2 packages for my kids. They completed the class portion, tried to schedule the drive and was told they needed 20 hours before they could. Both kids now have their licenses after we had to teach them the driving part.When I asked for a portion of the package to be refunded was told no but they can schedule the driving now.,Kinda late. Dont waste your money

It was a pleasure taking the test here. The driving instructor did a good job of not pressuring you and was fair in his criticism of my driving. If you are in the denver area I would make the trip here to take the driving test. Also seemed like it had a nice school for people under the age of 18 for driving and sat and act prep. Highly recommended.

I went in for a drive test and while I was driving the instructor told me to illegally turn and I was unaware at the time that the turn he told me to make was illegal but afterwards he told me that it was and I failed because I took the turn he told me to take highly recommend finding a different place to do you driving test.

I worked for this company the staffs really great. The owner is very unprofessional and rude. Im a teacher and will be telling all of my fellow teacher avoid this potion at all cast. Again great staff but the owner is what brings down this company.Was forced to give at least one star to post so that goes to the staff

The instructor I was provided with did not do a very good job at telling where to go and letting me know in short amount of times which made me second guess myself. I was very uncomfortable the whole time. This was a waste of money, I’ve been driving for over a year and I failed? Afterwards they were pushing for me to pay for a class that I did not need. You guys have things down that I’ve never heard of in my experience of driving. The “ten tips” are something you guys don’t really pay attention to. I got marked down on things I know for a fact that I was doing. I’m very disappointed in such a “great place.”

I didnt get classes here, Ive just passed the driving exam. Everyone was super polite and attentive. After the test, the instructor explained me my mistakes. Everything was very comfortable and easy. Also, a car for the driving test is new and clean.

Every interaction with Drive Safe was above and beyond my expectations. They were the only driving school that could answer not only all of my questions but all of my daughters. They were able to calm her fear of driving, build her confidence, and explain things I couldnt put in words. She was able to get her license on her 16th birthday because they booked all the classes for her to get her permit on time. Then they taught her how to drive defensively and even prepped her for her SATs. This school solved many of our teen concerns while providing a small, helpful setting with well-trained teachers.

Great place to take a driving test

Seems like a nice business. We had our son attend the classes, on-road instruction, and finally the test (which unfortunately he did not pass - it would be interesting to see their pass/fail percentage for people who have gone through their full program - that would be a good indicator of whether they are successfully teaching). The tester was very polite and pointed out the areas that needed correction, so well have to try again (there is no charge for the 2nd try).The real point of this review is advice for parents. You are required to do 50hrs of guided driving with your son/daughter. I think my son failed because I taught him how to actually drive in the Denver metro, but I did not reinforce the rules that he needed for the test. Do I know the rules, cant say that I could write them out. Do I actually use the rules in my own driving, maybe (perhaps subconsciously I do, but only when Im the driver), so it can be difficult to pick out every rule when someone else is driving - the driving tester is trained to do that. During the post-test review, I quietly thought to myself this would be unsafe if people actually did that, but the rules are the rules. Im not sure if the rules are strictly those set up by the DMV or if some of them are created by Drive Safe.As a recommendation for Drive Safe, perhaps give the parents a 1-2 page sheet of the rules.

Please take classes here before test.. or they fail you in test..for Management, What i am saying is please make a note in front of your office like WE ONLY PASS WHO PAYS EXTRA FOR CLASSES ..We just thought driving test is genuine.. i was driving from past 2 years and they failed me .. my sister still cant park a car between two cars but she took one classes there ..and passed !! WOW whozz teaching there DOMINIC TORETTO............

In all honesty i dont even think it deserves a single star. I toke the test and was failed on things i didnt do. After the test not only was i told You dont know the rules and being offered classes there it was clear you would only get passed if you did classes. Great waste of money if you dont care for yours but my experience made it clear that you dont do class you dont pass.

Not impressed and expensive! Didn’t tell us that there was a package deal ! Told wrong info about getting drivers license after being 17 1/2. Poorly run!

Went there for a driving test. Instructor was very rude and failed me because I didnt take their expensive classes. Go to the DMV its cheaper and alot easier form waste your time with these scammers

They told me I needed to take classes after they failed me twice I went to take a test somewhere else and passed the very next day.Guess I didn’t need classes.They fail you to make you takes classes if you don’t take the class there you will not pass.
