I’m currently enrolled in the Full Specialist program here at the Hollywood Institute west palm beach campus. I just completed the skincare portion of my program and I had Ms. Ida as my instructor and she was such an amazing teacher who really went above and beyond when it came to teaching. She is very detailed and structured in her teaching and it really created such a great learning environment. I can honestly say that through her teaching and her personal experience in the field has given me the right preparation I needed to go into my field of choice with confidence! And a special thank you to the rest of the staff here because of how attentive everyone has been, especially Ms. Rosemary and Ms. Miriam for always checking on me and taking the time to make sure I had everything that I need and have needed. Overall my experience at this school has been so beneficial and I’ve had so much fun learning here!!!!

Went in for a service and it surpassed my expectations.The teacher Miraidys was extremely professional and attentive. You can tell she loves what she does! Great experience here.

Overall I’m satisfied! Once you understand how everything works, it just flows! You definitely have to stick to everything that is in your curriculum wheel!

Started here with no experience had hard time with scheduling but rosemary Miriam Jhon and hardy never gave up on me. Especially ty she took her time to train me and how to be a professional Im really thankful for this school great overall school

This location has failed to live up to train to the standard that they set for themselves. While their work cant be complained about their constant need for employees stands out as it seems the training and getting new blood in is lacking. Wouldnt put me off from using them as a service but definitely wouldnt gamble a future and investment in them.

This school is not professional to say the least. We are on the 4th teacher assigned because the other 3 quit within a month. I almost feel like it’s all a scam. The products sold as part of the start up kit are garbage. It is impossible to have anyone from financial aid to meet with you or even call you back nor respond to multiple emails yet at check in the front desk want to collect payment. They are claiming the balance due is twice as much as due but no one can explain anything. I truly regret doing business with Hollywood Institute. The previous reviews were misleading!!!!

The Instructor, Rachel and the masseuse, Jocelyn asked for my input before we started. Jocelyn gave me an amazing massage. I came in with pain and left feeling relaxed and pain free. Jocelyn definitely has a healing touch.

Aolani did a great job on my hair she always does I’ve been coming here for a while now and it’s always a good time from the service to the environment. The prices are affordable for all services rendered. Highly recommend

Haven’t attitude the school long but all I heard before ever stepping foot in Hi Hollywood was Ms Kim is the best teacher. I processed to sign up. As you know I’m Ms Kim teacher (nail tech). Ms Kim energy and the determination she has for all her students to learn and the way she breaks everting is AWSOME!!!! I couldnt have found a better school not teacher.

That’s the best school I’ve ever been to and attended..... The staff and faculty are all great they treat me with great respect. I love the family/team feeling that surrounds us when we are there. Very low budget and the staff is very rude i was schedule to take my state test in 2020 before the pandemic hit in March i reached out to my school and the test company to get a update about my test that was cancelled i called my old school they now have new staff i called the school to see can I schedule the test they sent me the email i called the number it goes to voicemail I called the school back the director told me that thats the only number she has all this time was a waste

Both my mother and I agreed that this was one of the best massages we have had in over 15 years. The girls were absolutely amazing and while it was at a school, we both agreed the experience itself was very spa like. The front desk receptionist was awesome as well.I have been searching for a skilled massage therapist for the past year and have not been successful. Who knew I would find exactly what I was looking for at Hollywood Institute.

I consider this the perfect example of a low grade school. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The women (at the front) whom answer the telephone are rude and do not know how to speak to customers. I am so disappointed in the service by the two women because they are the face of the company and as a customer, they give a TERRIBLE name and reputation. I was recommended by a friend to get services done, but as of 2 weeks, I will NEVER come here.

As a current student of massage therapy and a Post 9/11 recipient, I must say that I am truly grateful to have chosen Hollywood Institute as the school to attend. From the friendly staff, to the open door policy with administration, to the absolute best massage therapy instructor I could ever ask for... My time at Hollywood Institute has been quite memorable!

I came from another state looking to get a career and as soon as I got to Florida started working on that. Two months later I had enrolled at this school. Did not expect it to surpass all my expectations of what a great school should be. They care about us and not only our progress but also about our wellbeing. Staff and faculty assist whenever needed and are always looking out for us. This has been the best decision I have made, they have guided me in my journey to become a professional, assisted me in getting placed and now working with me to prepare me to Ace the State Board exam. Would recommended to anyone.

A friend is learning massage therapy here and posted a weekend offer, so I figured I would try it. The facility is impressive, the staff greeted me professionally.The massage I received helped relieve a lot of tension I was having, and the time passed quickly. I am an instructor at Hollywood Institute and I would like to say it has been a pleasure working at the school. It has such a family orientation that I actually enjoy coming to work daily. There was comments made in a review that I would have to disagree with since I have been there administration has had an open door policy. I have never been turned away when I had a question and anytime that I needed some thing for my class room My campus director directed me with no hesitation to put in order forms which is done every month, gave me the tools i needed and we made it happen...It was also very easy to follow along the wheel that they provided when I was first hired and also gave me resources along the way to make my job that much easier allowing me to use my knowledge to make it great! feel it has been very successful so far. I enjoy all of my coworkers and look forward to being there for many years to come. I would highly recommend coming here for work or services.

Came in with my mom for a mommy and daughter day and my summer had been made. I have had the worse back pain in my life for over a month and nothing has helped until I came here for a deep tissue massage. My technician had the most gentle yet strong and firm touch, she made all my pain go away within an hour. Then I got my hair cut. I had the instructor cut my hair and a student wash and diffuse it and made a friend at it! I love this place. It’s so great! 10/10 definitely would recommend.

I just started at Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers, and this whole new path of career was a bit overwhelming. However when I met my teacher Ms. Tasha Urena, she made me feel more at ease and comfortable in my choice to become a beauty professional. Today me and my mom decided to have a cut and blow dry done she had a much different experience then i had. once we got there they took me and her right away. i had a teacher cut my hair it took a while but i was patient as she was showing a student the steps and proper ways to cut hair. Once she got done I LOVED IT, honestly no complaints there but once it was time to do my blow dry it was a different student that took care of me. Once the teacher told her she was doing my blow dry she told the teacher in front of me that she didnt want to do it, and once i told her that i wanted a blow dry with curls on the end and not completely straight she told me she wasnt doing that and that she didnt even want to do the service but her teacher was making her do it. The whole time the student was doing the service she had such a bad attitude and left my hair so bad. didnt even look like a blow dry, i have gone to many salons professional and school salons and never seen my hair like that. needless to say i wont be going there anymore.

Currently a student, absolutely love it. Started Skin Care and am overly impressed by the Instructor and her style of teaching. I feel confident in the information Im getting, theory and practical alike. Have exceptional class member and staff is always warm and welcoming daily.

A great school, they have a great friendly staff . Everybody is so welcoming from the day you start to the day you finish, they become family in a matter of time! Definitely would recommend coming here if your interested in barbering/cosmo/nails/skin etc!! Would come again if I could!!

I have visited the Hollywood institute spa on Dixie highway several times and they always provided me with a lovely experience. The massages and haircut are excellent and reasonably priced. I am very pleased.

I currently attend this school yet I only been here a little while I already feel that I am close to my teacher Ms. Cleo and my class mates . Everyone is extremely kind and understanding . Ms. Cleo is a great teacher and makes everything easier to understand . She makes lessons fun as well . I would recommend this school to everyone and anyone who wants to enter the field of beauty .

I get my haircuts and get hot towel shaves at this location. It is always a great experience. I am almost 90, can hardly walk and they treat me with such respect and patience that it makes it easy to keep coming back.

Highly advise anyone that is interested in attending this school, to go anywhere else but here. Do not make the same mistake I have, You will hate it, for $10.500 they should be ashamed of themselves, level of education is 0, corporate office is impossible to reach, beside super rude and incompetent when you actually do reach someone!(Ashley), had to call the dept. of Health to inform me that a month later after I finished school, the check that is covered by tuition for the state board was incorrect, what a joke....

What an amazing experience !!Went in to have a botched haircut from a pricey salon fixed. Stylist did a great job. I also inquired about a massage. Turns out they had an immediate opening. My massage therapist was Christela. She was phenomenal !! Quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever gotten.

Im a frequent customer at this institution due to the excellent service I receive each time. I had Juan as my barber who was precise & clean. Leaving with a fresh shape up & shave thanks to him. Ill be coming back again because of that.

I just completed my full specialist program.Thank you HI for everything. I went in there wanting to make a career out of nails but when I got into skin care I fell in love. Thank you Ms. Kim for teaching me all I know about nails, she’s the best and she is passionate about teaching. Excellent place to take your child for a proper haircut on a weekend but you need to make sure your there by 10 since weekends are first come first serve. Overall its a great atmosphere and the students look like they know what their doing; Id highly recommend for both service and training.

Place is terrible an the most unsuccessful industry. I was there 2 hours an a half getting a haircut. There’s this kid there they call “Suave” an asked to do my eyebrows an literally shaved half of my eyelashes & when I corrected him he was to ignorant to understand an cut me right below my eyebrow. So I left a with a cut on me an half of my eyelashes gone. Instead of an actual haircut.

Went here initially for a groupon. One has to make appointments during the week and walk ins on Saturday. Let me just say that these students are great. If you communicate with them and let them know exactly what you want, they work to get it for you. The Groupon saves you $4 as well.I will definitely go there again.

Hollywood Institute Beauty of Careers is the best school in Palm Beach County. I have been attending this Institute, since January of 2018 and my experience has been amanzing 😀 the instructors are great it is very hands on the students are amanzing. I have got to know great future professionals, like myself who are going to go on into beauty industry.

This school is an elementary factor to reach the goals that we propose In addition to being disciplined and professional day by day, the teachers are wonderful and help to concentrate on maintaining a positive attitude that motivates and prevents you from giving up.

Some students attend this technical school and dont work. With that being said the school offers the students bus passes at a discounted price and thats awesome. However there should be a system in place when the person who issues the bus passes is on vacation. So how does a student get to school on an expired bus pass? Your system is broken!

The skin program I would say is the Best program in this school ... Ms. B is one of the best if not the best educators of Hollywood Institute and Im very grateful that I have the privilege to be in her class and learn her craft

I am a Hollywood Alumni and the experience I had was horrible; the barber program which I attended switched barber instructors over 5 times during the course that I was there; and they are actually currently looking for yet ANOTHER barber instructor; mind you I graduated in 2015!!!! The structure of this school is awful. A facade. I wish I would have kept my options open until I found the perfect school but they painted such a great portrait; so great in fact that I was promised to have my state board paid for upon graduation as a part of my tuition; once I graduated I left that state; so I had to pospone my state exam; when I came back a year and 4 months later; I was told that it wasn’t apart of my tuition; mind you EVERYONE I graduated with can attest that they were granted the exam and it was paid for. It’s been nothing but problems with this school. I recommend you look into many schools before attending; and if you don’t believe me; call yourself tomrrow and ask “are you hiring for barber instructor” and I guarantee you they will say yes; they will never have stability; so if your looking for a school that’s unstrcutured; fraudulent; over priced and dishonest; then Hollywood is the place to be!!!

Horrible salon. Terrible service, unprofessional and rude staff. This school wont last long. The students dont know what theyre doing and the instructors are just as clueless and lazy. Not a calming or relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. Lots of swearing and shouting from the staff/students, the music is loud and obnoxious. I went in for a gel mani and pedi, the polish was very thick and my nails looked horrible, even after two days I noticed chipping. I guess you get what you pay for. Save your time, money, and peace of mind, and dont bother with this place.
