Our Child has been at Karate at U.S.S.D for almost a year. We really love James and the other teachers & Senseis There. This is the new location on 7800 South before West Jordan park. It is a very large 2 story space with a Huge Dojo Studio room and great equipment. We had our child start Karate to learn; discipline, obedience, kindness, efficiency, and respect of authority and to make friends-and improve self defense skills. Our child had some issues with impulsivity, obedience and respect of all authority and those have improved but he still has quite a ways to go. His physical skills and stamina have increased and he has a focus he has not had before joining self defense. I love the meditating that is done in class. It really helps the kids calm down. James is great with the students. You should join!
