This is a great school! My son attended before kindergarten and my daughter is in her second year here and both of them love it! Im not a paid staff member but I do volunteer here extensively and love it!

I have had kids at BGMP since their opening day and have been very pleased. They have successfully met the needs of my childrens varied needs and talents. The pastor is awesome and the teachers are so loving and patient. I highly recommend this school often to friends looking for quality, affordable Christian Montessori-based education and/or daycare for their kids.

My child attended Beach Gathering (BG) last school year (BG’s opening year). The school started with an educated and experienced core group, but day-by-day people started to peel away, with no explanation to the parents. The original core, including director, left with in the first month. I expected hurdles during the first year but the high turnover rate caused concern. To my knowledge BG does not have Montessori educated teachers or director and the Montessori tools were rarely introduced. If the tool was introduced, it was not documented. I toured other Montessori schools, they took pride in tool introduction and in documenting the child’s progression until the tool had been mastered. I found communication with the director and pastor difficult and as issues and questions arose, the defensive answer was repeatedly “growing pains. I basically gave up, stopped asking questions and lowered my expectations more than I cared to. The director, pastor and staff do love and care for these kids but the business model and direction are lacking. I hope next year is more successful for BG but the teachers have changed once again and I don’t want to waste my childs learning years hoping that get it figured out and that teacher’s stay on the job.
