Just moving to Washington from NYC, I had never owned a drivers license before. This didn’t phase Bob one bit. He was knowledgeable, informative and above all else Patient! If anyone needs someone to teach them to drive, GO TO BOB. I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience at On Target.

When I went in - and when I was doing my exam - I was extremely nervous, but Bob was my driving instructor and he was super rad! He was very nice and made comments while we were driving that helped me to stay (mostly) out of my own head and made the experience a lot easier! Very much recommend! Thank you, Bob!

I would highly recommend using On Target Driving School. After 11 years of not being able to drive you can imagine how nervous I was to take the driving test. I was paired with Bob Lenz (instructor). He greeted me with a friendly smile followed by some really encouraging words. He asked if I had any questions before we got started. He was very clear and understandable. The staff were all great. They have walk in service for the knowledge test. I was able to get the driving test schedule the following week after passing the written test. It took one week for me to get both test passed. Thank you Bob, your kindness was much appreciated.

I had Bob Lenz for 2/3 of my lessons and his tone along with his clarity was top notch. He gave me helpful tips that are easy to remember and very applicable while on the road. The other instructor’s I interacted with were also very enthusiastic and willing to answer any questions I had.

I did my driving test with Bob and he did a fantastic job of calming down after noticing me being a bit nervous. The driving test itself was very straight forward but Bob definitely allowed me to just focus on the driving and get the test done. Would recommend this school.

It was my first time taking the driving test and I was a very nervous because I wasn’t sure if I was going to pass or not. Usually when I’m anxious, I would dwell on the things that could go wrong and get kind of scared. Even though, I was prepared for the test and I was still was doubting myself. I wasn’t confident with the skills I have due to last minute practices with my family.Luckily, I met Bob as my instructor and he sure did brighten up my day! He was really helpful, he gave me clear instructions and what to prepare before the test begins. When I get to know about Bob, he was super friendly and was radiating lots of positive energy. I’m the kind of person to think about the negative, he let me know that everything is going to be okay and that I’m going to get my license this time! I love how understanding he is when I talked about how I felt about driving, he did not judged and gave me meaningful words which I appreciate so much.He was very motivating and enthusiastic, just the kind of person I would love to be around with! He gave me hope that I can do anything, he believed in me when I was unsure of myself. Little did I know, during the drive with him, my racing thoughts no longer spiraled and started to have little hope in myself I can do it. Honestly, not one bit was it a scary moment, everything went well and I did not expected it!Bob is so funny and cool, anything he says puts a smile on my face. Robert Lenz was an amazing instructor! I signed up for 3 driving lessons with him and by the end of it I not only passed my driving test and got my license, I also I feel so much more confident with my driving skills. I came in with a lot of driving anxiety and had only ever driven up to 20mph around my neighborhood. Robert immediately put me at ease and helped me progress at a comfortable pace. By the second lesson, I was already driving on the highway and feeling way less anxious about driving. He had a a great intuition on when I would be feeling anxious and quickly reassured me. I would absolutely recommend scheduling lessons with Robert, he’s a very skilled and comforting instructor!

In the 13 driving lessons I took with Bob Lenz at On Target, my perspective on driving was transformed. I went from being so terrified of causing an accident, so uncomfortable behind the wheel that I failed my driving schools second practice drive twice, to being a confident and enthusiastic driver. Bob really invested in me, believed in me. He showed me I was capable of not only earning my license but being a good driver, something neither I nor my dearest family and friends thought was possible: I went through driving school in high school and had twice before gotten my permit and tried to get experience behind the wheel, but my vision impairment presented what felt like an unsurmountable challenge and I never got anywhere....until now. Now, I - yes, I! - am a fully licensed driver, and am enjoying being on the road more all the time! Bob kept the promise he made to me on our first drive and took me all the way to my goal, and beyond - his words of encouragement and calm instruction still come to me a month afterward, and I will always have his reassurance of my abilities to keep me going when I start to get anxious. Bob and all the staff at On Target treat their clients and students with warmth and respect - I felt so valued and supported by all of them!If you are reading this and have questioned whether or not you could ever get your license, or have been looking in vain for private tutoring - I couldnt find anything online and just happened to ask On Target about it when I took the knowledge test there - I would urge you to call On Target and ask for Bob Lenz as a driving instructor. They let me take my knowledge test on a day that wasn’t for walk ins due to my job. I was also able to put my bike in the garage they have. Very helpful and comfortable. Will be going back Friday for behind the wheel test. Thank you on target!

I am in my early 30’s and was highly anxious to take the drive test and learn the skills needed to be the best driver I can be on the road. I called around to the different schools in the area and this is the only school that took the time to explain every option that they have available for drivers over 18 who didn’t Necessarily need the whole drivers course class. The women and the owner who answer the phones are very kind, respectful, and have the perfect amount of patience for people like me who didn’t know what to ask or what exactly I needed. I arrived early a little bit for my first lesson, my stomach was in my throat, and tears in my eyes from my anxiety for driving and the unknown of my skills. Bob Lenz and the owner greeted me kindly. Bob took me to the car and went over what I wanted to know and what I did already know. We walked around the car and gave me spots I needed to look at out the windows during the skills training. I knew at this point I was in the right place! He then took me on a drive around the neighborhood teaching me parallel parking, backing around a corner, and other skills in the one hour lesson! He is great at self confidence and motivational talks to make yourself believe in yourself to be the best you can be, and this is one of the best things I have needed to believe I can do those skills and pass my drive. I cried, we laughed, I believed, and I passed thanks to this kind instructor Bob. If you are anxious, sick to your stomach from your nerves, and don’t believe you can pass the test take your drives with Bob, and you too will be on your way to being independent and driving! I will forever be greatful for the staff at On Target for their time and knowlege and customer service they gave to make my dream of driving and being independent come true! I have and will always recommend this school and Bob to anyone!

I went to the on target driving school today, I took 1 driving lesson from bob lenz, and then took the dol driving test and past with a HIGH score. I highly recommend bob for driving instruction. My previous tests I scored 76, and on this after his lesson I scored 94. It was amazing!

I was very stressed out taking the driving test my first time, my driving instructor was Bob and he helped me stay calm and relaxed as I took my road test which helped me pass, thank you bob

Me and my sister took on target driving school several years back and it went super smooth. Keith was very helpful and overall it was a fun class. Unfortunately, when it was my brothers turn we decided to save a couple bucks and send him to driving 101. Big mistake. I encourage everyone who is debating other schools, to go here. Driving 101 charges fees everywhere so you end up paying more there then you do here. I should’ve realized that when they only have 3.5 star vs this place having 5.

This is the best driving school and Kieth is an amazing instructor he is professional, friendly nice person and knows his job very well. He has perfect tips about how to drive safely. He is full of patience and very calm never became angry or yelled. I always prayed for his healthy long life he is a gem.

I was on a hunt for a good driving school & OnTarget was the first one to pop up near me. It also had good reviews that caught the eye. I definitely recommend this place. I had Vicki for most of my drives & she’s AMAZING. She made me feel confident, comfortable & does her job very well before your final. There are good people who work here.

This experience was very fun but I also learned a lot. I also met one of my best friends here. Today I passed my drive test which I wouldn’t have been able to if I didn’t get the proper teachings from this school. 5 stars!!

My son went today and took his permit test and they were wonderful. $35 dollars for two tries. Hopefully they will be as awesome for the actual driving test.

I HIGHLY recommend completing your driving course and testing at this school. They were friendly and ready to answer any questions that I had. Keith was my instructor for the two-hour methods course and the three one-hour driving sessions that is available for drivers over 18. He worked around my busy schedule and helped me to get my instruction done in a timely manner. Keith is very knowledgeable in this area and makes sure you have the tools to be a confident and safe driver. A very calming and encouraging man to be driving with. Overall, a great place if you are looking in the Vancouver area.

This is the best game in town! The owners are very friendly & personable, they made me feel at ease. Although I did not need a second chance with the knowledge test, they offer it at no additional cost. It was $25 for the test, unlike another place which was $39 with NO SECOND CHANCE! (That place gave a $5 discount for the second chance but I did not take the bait), hence going to On Target. I highly recommend this school.

On Target was a wonderful experience for our teenage daughter and for us as parents. The teachers were friendly, knowledgeable and made safety #1. The communication throughout was top notch and made learning how to drive an enjoyable experience for our daughter. Thank you so much!

Gave my daughter a car that kept stalling to take her test. When she stepped on the gas to stop the stall they then failed her for going five miles over the speed limit and wanted to charge her to retake the test.

A very positive experience. I was so lucky to come through On Target driving school to take my driving lessons and driving test. I have always felt scared thinking about driving but Kieth at On Target driving school was a great help to overcome my fear and start hitting the road.I am not an English native speaker and I find it so hard to understand when people talk so fast. I had no problem at all understanding Kieth since he talks slowly and clearly, he gives the info and repeats it in different ways & at different occasions until you digest it very well.Kieth & Don the instructors at the school are really well informed and are so passionate about what they do.. You will feel the positive energy once you step inside the place.If you want to be in good hands, go on with hiring the team of On Target driving school. Im 100% sure you will never regret it.

The best place to learn driving. These guys teach you things you need to know and is important. The examiners are really good and makes you feel comfortable even before the exam. Love that Keith guy, very professional and goes out of his way to make sure you learn the right way, and be a cautious and safe driver...PLEASE DONT GO TO 101 DRIVING SCHOOL, THEY WILL FAIL YOU ON PURPOSE TO MAKE MONEY.

My Wife took her knowledge test and road test in this school. She passed both on her first attempt.They are knowledgeable and kind people. They will never try to intimidate you so you will be able to relax and concentrate on driving.I highly recommend this driving school! says my wife. :)

Incredible staff and service. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to driving. I am almost 28 and waited this long to give driving a shot. I learned from Robia(sorry for the spelling!) and Keith, both are amazing instructors. You need people who are patient and dedicated in helping you become a safe, confident driver and On Target does just that. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. Great program. Both my kids took drivers ed through On Target and both are really great drivers. They are cautious and aware, and learned valuable tools to help them while on the road. I recommend On Target to anyone looking for a quality drivers ed program.

I would recommend On target driving school to the Latino community who are struggling to learn how to drive, Keith was very patient with me and has great communication and patience. Due to his skill as an instructor he helped me learn to parallel park, back around a corner, and change lanes. My experience with On target was great. His ability to teach me helped my get my lisence today.

Went to take my knowledge test. I asked if I failed to please not say it in front of people because I would feel embarrassed. Was told that they wouldn’t do that. First thing they did was say it in front of someone. Thanks a lot for the embarrassment.

My 15 year old daughter took their drivers training class. Keith is a great instructor and a very caring person. We had a great experience with them! I would say that Keith is the one to have your drives with if you want detailed instruction and good feed back.

The instructors contained a vast range and depth of knowledge, were very pleasant and genuinely cared about both the safety of the driver while behind the wheel as well as the skills the driver performed. I attended the driving school here and the instructors are very nice. I also did my skills test here and I had a brake light out and he helped me fix my light so I was able to take the test. Everyone here is extremely nice too.

I am so grateful to Keith and his team! I am in my thirties and had a driving phobia that prevented me from driving. Keith was extremely patient with me, and in just over a month I had my license. It really has changed my life, and I recommend them to anyone!

I pre paid I thought $35 because thats what the lady told me she was charging my card for a drive to get license 2 weeks before drive when making the appointment. When returning 2 weeks later for the drive the lady told me she only changed me $30 I can do the drive if I pass I cant get license until I return and pay the $5 . I understand common curiosity would be to pay the $5 at that time I had no money I also understand that being a business since it was there mistake they should take that into consideration.

Before I had taken my written exam with Driving 101 and failed. I studied my ass off came to Ontarget and Passed. I noticed a big difference in their service unlike Driving 101. 💯 recommendPlanning to take Driving test with them!

Walked in to enroll my daughter. Got told no classes until jan... okay then told to fill out form and to pay 140 to hold her place. I stated we had to pay that much to hold a spot to which the woman at the desk said well I never said you had to sign up. Extremely rude. We ended up walking out with me stating we wont be back due to her attitude. Its sad as its the closest and most convient but I refuse to give money to a place with such rude employees.

By far the best phone service of any of the driving schools, was very helpful in finding and relaying info i was looking for, and by far the best deal, 30$ for 2 trys, on knowledge test, other places charged 39$ or more just for ONE TRY!!! thats insane, so go to on target for the knowledge test atleast!~ 5 starsWill update after knowledge test, and maybe after driving test if i go here, but from other places based on review and the phone service i resived, on target is fantastic so far

The staff here is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I went in to sign up for driving classes and the two older white women that worked at the front desk (one of which had a tiny dog that was chewing on garbage on the floor) repeatedly disrespected the fact that I am a transgender man. When I politely corrected them four times they ignored all of my attempts. After i finally became irritated at the fact they would repeatedly try to alienate me like that I told them they needed to stop addressing me the way they have been. One defended her repeated disrespect by saying she couldnt make any promises to correct her behavior and that she was just trying to work hard to do her job apparently NOT considering the fact that she apparently couldnt read my gender marker on my permit (that was in her hand) that reads MALE. The other became hostile she even told me to take my prescription sunglasses off so they could see my face Im assuming this was another one of her attempts to slip in a comment to disrespect my gender. She then proceeded to yell at me to remove my card from the card reader and leave.
