My daughter had a lot of apprehension in going back to school after 2 years away and especially during covid restrictions and they went above and beyond in her summer school program ( from the front desk staff to the teachers and vice principal in summer school program to the principal in her sophomore year) and then consistently have went above and beyond in her sophomore year this year. SO grateful to have a school care, go the extra mile and be a bridge in building my daughters confidence academically again. I cannot recommend them enough!

Graduated from here last year since I kinda messed up my junior year at another school. Very flexible scheduling, curriculum, and teachers. Loved that it was only 4 days a week 5 hours a day. Perfect school for people in my situation and otherwise. Transferring here did not mess up my credits at all unlike what Ive heard about some other schools in town. The only thing that changed was my bad GPA started over which I didnt know about until I graduated with honors, so that was a very pleasant surprise.

The teachers dont care for the students its always the same answer you can figure it out

I appreciate the fact that this school is all work at your own pace, its also only 4 days, 20 hours a week which makes it easier to work and go to school. Teachers show that they care and will help you whenever you need the help, just raise your hand. I like that you can listen to music through out the whole session as well. I highly recommend going to canyon rose.

This school is very great. Teachers and staff are very nice. As a student, I can say that I have improved much more by the helps of teachers and being on my own without pressure or stress to get work done quickly. This school has made my mindset much better to keep myself motivated to graduate.

Really good school, its better than a traditional school, you can get your work done at your own pace. You can choose your own session to go to and its only 5 hours so if you have to work in the evening you can go to the morning session and then go to work. Another way its better than a traditional school like if you missed a day with traditional school then you have to catch up but with this school if you miss a day then you can work at on home and just pick up where you left off.

I am a student at Canyon Rose Academy and I couldnt be any happier! I love how I can go at my own pace at completing lessons. The school is flexible around your schedule, so there are different sessions you can take. Even though you are more independent, the teachers are always there to help out!

I think that this is a really good school because the teachers are very helpful. They help people out that are really having a hard time with there work. My English teacher was very helpful to me, like he was showing me different ways to understand things better in ways that I can understand and be able to read and answer questions and get a great grade. I really like this school

As a student, I give Canyon Rose 5 stars because it is a small school, which makes it extremely easy to get all the help you need when you need it. The schedules are amazing and can work with whatever business you have during they day. Everyone is nice, and just all in all an amazing school

This school allows students to learn and complete projects on your own pace to go as fast or slow as you need too to understand what you need to. It can get very interactive with small groups to get an even further in dept understanding on what ypur learning. Lastly it can give you a great amount of classes to choose from to fit your needs.

I really enjoy this school honestly had a smooth transition from Pv and the staff is very welcoming and motivating to them its more than just a job they help you individually or in group if needed the work is planned out and they have a system of setting goals in a folder which teachers do upkeep and help. The best part is its optional to do it you dont have to feel pressured or forced to do it the school is very flexible and i cant wait to graduate here.

I have enjoyed being at this school. Coming here Monday through Thursday working at my own pace has really paid off. I will be graduating early and the teachers here are very helpful and understanding.

I love this place because the teachers make you feel welcome and comfortable. Its the same with the principal and vice principal as well. Mr. Golston, the principal, made me feel very welcomed on my first day here. Mr. Sanders, one of my favorite teachers, makes me laugh and feel welcomed. Over all this is a great school!

In my personal experience with canyon rose Academy, I feel it has helped me accomplish my goals in finishing my school work. They have tools to help every students specific needs and concerns. I get individual attention when needed from teachers that care and want to be here teaching.

I just started here about 2 weeks ago and everyone is very uplifting and the staff are very helpful and always are mindful of everything and everyone. I haven’t had a bad experience yet and the school and staff deserve more credit than what they get. They do work really hard for each kid in the school and try to give them the best education they can get.

It is a great school. Very beneficial for students who can only focus on a certain amount of classes. You can work at home as well and it is a quick way to receive credits and graduate whenever is necessary for a student

It was very easy not only to catch up, but to get ahead on classes. The teachers seem to really care about your progress and how well youre doing. I dont think I would have been able to graduate on time without it. 😊✌

It’s fast pace, at your own pace. Great school with amazing administrators and other staff. This school has helped me when I was falling behind and allowed me to achieve my goals of finishing classes. The classes aren’t hard, and there’s plenty of helpful teachers around you if you need an extra push.

The teachers actually seem to care about you and your education. The classes are simple but you still learn so much from them and the teacher are extremely helpful if you don’t understand something. The hours are also super convenient and flexible and I feel it’s a great working environment.

The schedule is very flexible. They give you options to choose between the morning, afternoon, and evening session. The teachers are the best, and are able to help you with any question that comes to mind. This school also offers credit recovery, and accept people that are 21 years of age.

CRA is a great school. You can graduate when you want. The staff is great and they will push you to your goals. Although you can get side tracked easily. The one thing that I would like to see improvement on is maybe giving some homework assignments.

Ive had great experiences at Canyon Rose Academy. The teachers are helpful and there if you need it. The curriculum is easy to follow and can be done mostly on your own.

I like Canyon Rose because the students get one on one attention from the teachers. I also like that that the students get Fridays off. Lastly, Mrs.Jensen is my favorite shes kind and caring.

The teachers are very welcoming and nice. If you ever need any help, theyre very nice and give you a good explainion. I like the fact that you can pick your hours, and if you cant come in at a certain time, you can always come in later and still get your hours in.

Teachers are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. Its work at your own pace. You can listen to music and theres a 15 min break to avoid the formation of blood clots from sitting too long. (sit for about 2hr and 15min.)

That they care about youre grades and if you understand. And they help you as long as you need it and if you dont understand it they think if diffrent ways to help you understand the topic. And they are really patient with youre learning ways.you just need to find youre way to learn and they will help you.

This rose academy has help me work thru getting me my credit in a very helpful way, Ive gotten a lot done here as well as being able to do it at my own pace. The teachers are very helpful with everything and make it makes it much easier.

Ive been going to Canyon Rose for a couple months now its my first year here and I believe its an overall good experience. You can come here with any credits you need and get them done at your own pace. You can get whatever credits you need within a matter of months. Also, You can work on classes anytime and anywhere you have internet access at.

Coming to Canyon Rose I was given the opportunity to graduate at my own time and pace. Due to my work schedule it was hard for me to work in a traditional school but Canyon Rose gives you that opportunity. The teachers here really want to see you succeed and graduate. The principal, Mr. Goldstein is someone who really pushes you to get finished and for many people they need that push. A teacher, Mr. Reeves gives you feedback to better improve your work. What I like most is you cannot get a C or lower so you are destined to succeed.

I currently go to canyon rose and it’s really easy for me to learn and get everything done. Lots of hands on learning and it’s great that you can finish credits and graduate early.

This school can be very beneficial, I like it because the hours are very good to choose between. This school also is helpful, you get done quicker and the teachers are very supportive.

I have been going to to rose academy for almost a year now and I am very satisfied with the way things are done here. The classes are somewhat easy, and the teachers will help you along as long as you ask. Over all the experience is good but I think this year things are not as organized, but really other than that things run pretty smooth. You work at your own pace and get more of a choice when it comes to the work you do. That is one of the best parts of this school, you work independently on your work and you do so on your terms, with in reason of course. You can work really fast and finish early, or slow things down a little and get the help you need to understand what your doing. It is really a good alternative to going to highschool, but you must understand that things a less social here. Not the run of the mill drama and distractions that you would normally have. Oh and you only need to go for 5 hours a day and 4 days a week. So that makes things easy for people who need or want the extra time. To end this I would say, if you are serious and adiment about getting your work done then come to a Rose Academy.

This school is great for the students that don’t like large classrooms, 8 hour days, and the regular homework every night for multipleclasses. The school has much more opportunity for students as well because you could get ahead and finish school early. Personally I’ve had a great experience at this school, I’ve been here for two and a half years and the principals and the teachers are great and are always there when you need guidence or help.

I think this school is great for those who want more one on one time with your teachers. You are able to move at your own pace and graduate when you want.

I came to Canyon Rose to catch up on credits so I didn’t have to carry the stress of not having enough credits . Canyon Rose teachers generally care about the students well being, success, and future . They are there to help you and answer your questions . It is a very well school and I recommend to students that need to catch up or just looking for a new start .

Im giving it 3 stars because its not a bad school. Since Im graduated Im going to speak out. I just wish the teachers and principal took students more seriously when it comes to bullying or when wanting to talk about something serious in private, there was always sarcasm and jokes being made.Its also disappointing that this years 2019 graduation is a ticketed event, which isnt fair if you ask me. Ive already had family coming in from out of state and now to tell family and friends theres only a certain amount of tickets given out to come in is upsetting. (Mind you its only 8 tickets per student) and being on a waiting list to get extra tickets isnt guaranteed. I get the TCC Music Hall is only so big but it still isnt right, maybe try considering relocating for graduation for the next school year to avoid disappointment and conflict like I did telling family.

I have had a great experience here at canyon rose, I struggled through high school and I looked around a lot to find the right high school that suited my style of working and so far I have finished 5 classes in the first quarter. I highly recommend Canyon Rose.

I don’t like the vice principal she’s rude and talks with attitude, the teachers are sweet but one teacher.. she thinks all cause she’s one of the teacher she can’t get rite you up for every little thing smhhh I think her name is ms.jenson But aye shout out to Mr.Reeves he’s the best

The idea is only part of it, that you can work self paced to finish school when you want to, whether it be finishing early or finishing late. However you want to go about it, its school on your own terms, with some reasonable rules set in place to keep the peace.

I’m a student at the school I think the school is very helpful and you could graduate early if you actually try and get help from teachers you can cougth up faster and get more attention from teachers they have classes room and they will do a small lessons with us if we are confused it also makes me feel very independent and if you have a goal on when you want to graduate then the school will help you with that.

Cause Like I want to be able to move more have like some kinda of sport but it is a good place. Wanna like get to work you can without the loudness of other schools.

This school is pretty great!!You can work at your own Pace and set your own goals and not have to worry about to many things at once.The teachers are great and work with you 1 on 1 to improve and get extra help.Something they can improve on is the water situation but overall this school is pretty awesome.You also have your own hours so thats pretty great to.

Canyon Rose is a great school, if youre falling behind or you just really want to graduate early this is the school to go to. I was struggling to graduate and I switched to Canyon Rose my last semester of my senior year and Ill be graduating early, they help you with focusing and if you miss any school you can always do it at home.

Very well in terms of teachings, the one on one work and learning is alot more helpful than usual. Computer Based work is alot more helpful and makes it easier.

I left a TUSD public highschool two weeks into my senior year after being there for 3 years to come to this school. When I first started this senior year I didnt have 3 out of 5 teachers because my school didnt hire them. I knew I had to get out and thats when I heard of Canyon Rose. When I first heard of Canyon Rose Academy I loved the thought of at your own pace computer work. The school has three different sessions you can attend 7am-12pm, 12pm-5pm, and 5pm-10pm. For people with jobs or anything else going on, its very convenient. The school runs Monday- Thursday with Friday being optional. You can also access your school work from a home computer and get even more work done to graduate faster :) The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable with almost every teacher being able to help you whether they teach that subject or not. The one on one attention from teachers is very helpful. Some teachers hold small groups, ranging from 30minutes to an hour, which pull in students to work with them. I advise going to the small group because it helps a lot! Within my first couple months of attending this school I got 3 classes finished. (Each class is .5 of a credit) and here I am finished with senior year February 18. If you have any problems or needs please voice them to the principal and vice principal because they both will take action. This school is a good option if you want to graduate early, if you need/want individualized school work, or if a traditional high school isnt for you. (not to bash on TUSD but come on) I would definitely recommend this school.

Been out for a year, and I couldnt recommend this Highschool enough. Its self paced, and you are not forced to keep momentum with everyone else. I think thats the biggest appeal this school had for me. Granted, there are still expected deadlines for assignments to be turned in and what not, but I never felt like if I missed a day, that would make or break a big chunk of my grade for that quarter or semester.Also, you really get to know all of your teachers, the principal, assistant principal, etc. Theyre all great people who legitimately help you and want the best for you.Im not exaggerating when I say that I wouldve probably dropped out if I didnt go here.And I would like to thank my Teachers, Mrs. Chan, Mrs. Lopez, Mr. Rutherford, Mrs. Dahlstrom, the previous Principal before Mr. Golston, the Principal Mr. Golston, and the assistant principal (I feel so bad that I forgot his name, forgive me!) And ill even thank all of the various girls who worked at the front desk from 2012 to 2016. All of the staff were great people.

Staff is helpful except mr. Bingham, hes the worst and his breath makes it impossible to talk to him without covering your nose

Canyon Rose is a good school for students that are missing credits or maybe want to graduate early, but the only thing that may be a problem is teacher availability.
