We already had a spot for our 3 year old at another school closer to where we work, but they couldnt take him until late August. We found LOLA not too far away from us and approached the admin there about enrolling our child just for the summer. The expectation was that he would simply attend for 6-8 weeks, then go to his new school. Long story short, we ended up liking the staff and situation at LOLA so much that it turned out to be a heart-wrenching decision to pull our child out when the time came. Ultimately, we decided to stick to the plan for our own convenience and because we had waited a year and a half to get the spot at the other school, but we agonized over the decision for several weeks. Our sons teachers were all very caring and he especially loved Ms Kris, who greeted him with a hug each day. The playground was one of the best I have seen at any preschool and it was 60-70% shaded! They even had a covered area outside where kids could get fresh air on rainy days. I have read some other negative reviews, particularly on Yelp, but I have to say we did not have any of those experiences. We did read our contract, though ;-) I will say one thing- the cost per week is among the lowest in the region and it is a great value. It is by no means perfect, but no place is. We could of course suggest some small improvements, but all would probably cause an increase in the tuition and impact the inclusiveness of the student body. Bottom line, our child enjoyed going to school each day and he still to this day asks to see Ms Kris. We wish all of the staff at LOLA our best and thank them for a wonderful summer.

My husband and I took a tour of this preschool today and I was encouraged to write this review because of how impressed we were with their facility. The Staff was very friendly and explained the program to us in detail. When we toured the facility, we were very impressed with their playground and with how clean and organized the classrooms were. It’s also nationally accredited! The teachers were also very friendly and greeted us as we walked through the classrooms. My husband and I have been looking for a school that meets our expectations for our little girl for a while now. I have to say that this one has been the most inexpensive one in the area compared to the rest! We registered our daughter today and we are excited for her to start!!!

Our son has been attending LOLA for 2 years. We are very happy with his behavior, personal development and with the improvement of his English language. Definitely he has strengthened his intellectuals abilities, thanks to the great LOLA Staff. Teachers are dedicated and always willing to help us. Of course, teachers are there to teach our children, we, as parents have to educate our kids at home!

I have to be honest: after reading some of the reviews on here, I was a bit anxious about bringing my child to this daycare. However, it was between LOLA and a daycare that made my stomach twist in knots as soon as we walked in so we enrolled my child here. Let me tell you, I’m not sure why there are bad reviews. Everyone is so friendly, the facility is clean, my child seems happy to be there. Furthermore, I’m a first time mom and call literally every single day to check on my child, and if it bothers the staff, they’re doing a great job at hiding it because they encourage me to check in as often as I want. I truly feel that my child’s teacher cares about the kiddos in her class and always has a smile on her face. So far, I’m so pleased with our decision to enroll our baby here.

We are lucky to have found Land of Learning. Our previous experience at a different daycare was not a positive one. We were very leery of all daycares, but we needed childcare. From the first time we walked into LOLA we had a positive experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The supervisors answered all of our questions without being irritated or annoyed. They were just starting their infant room and were able to accommodate us quickly. The first day of drop off I was a wreck. Everyone was super supportive and said I could call or stop by whenever I liked to check on our baby. They made me like it was normal to be nervous about leaving him, when his previous daycare made me feel like an inconvenience for worrying. Our child is happy when we drop him off and pick him up. His teacher is genuinely excited when he arrives. The teachers seem to know all of the children, even though it is quite large. Whenever I go to pick him up or drop him off I am greeted with smiling faces and kind words. I would definitely recommend this daycare if you are looking for infant care or older.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this school for my child. An education is always a great investment, but to know that my child is not just getting a great academic education but also being taught good moral values is very reassuring. I would recommend this school to anyone who is truly interested in the well being of their children. You can see the positive attitudes in the children every day, and it feels good to know my child is in a safe, fun, and academically challenging environment every day.

She wants to go to school rather than go out and wants us to pick her up AFTER playground time. My kids attended land of learning many moons ago. While there a short time I would rate them top notch, but here I am 5 years later and noticed somehow 2 years ago they hit my credit for over 500.00, this easily is erroneous and is being disputed but I am never in all my years heard of a day care hitting your credit legally let alone after you kids not being there for over 2.5 years. Until this is rectified my rating will remain a 1 star. I know there are several high marks here and to a point they are deserved, this just goes to show you how one experience can become huge.

I have always found the faculty of L.O.L.A easy to reach and open to discuss the development of my children. L.O.L.A. has a CLEAN and positive environment in which the children play and learn. My children consider L.O.L.A. a second home and the staff, a second family which reflects the great experience they have had there.L.O.L.A. gets an A+++++ on their report card.

Our son Kostas started at LOLA at the beginning of this year in VPK class. We moved to Tampa mid summer from California and we were worried that we wouldn’t find a good school for him. To our surprise we heard great things about LOLA from a neighbor and we instantly went to pay a school a visit. We were greeted by a great friendly staff who gave us a tour of the school as well as went over the VPK program with us. Kostas was assigned to Ms. Mily’s class and I do not know how to begin to describe this amazing woman. Ms. Mily has been a true blessing for us, she’s not only a great teacher, she truly cares about our sons well being. She has helped Kostas so much and we’ve seen so much progress on him since he started her class. He has also made lots of friends and that is so great for us since he was a bit shy. LOLA has been nothing but welcoming to Kostas and we feel we are part of this great family.I recommend this school to all parents out there. They have great teachers, great staff and an excellent program.

My son has been attending LOLA for almost 5 months, he loves his class and especially his teacher Ms.Mabel. She is so loving, caring and a mother like figure for him. This is his first preschool, he was 2.8 years when he started and they helped him in potty training(thanks to Ms.Mabel and LOLAs no diaper policy). His social skills has improved a lot. When he started he was not saying a word and I was very much worried how he is going to convey things. But his teacher could understand him just like me and within 5 months he started showing improvements in his language skills. Now he has started saying multiple words and often tries to sing with the nursery rhymes.I dont have enough words to express my thanks to his teacher Ms.Mabel and all the other staffs for helping and supporting him. Excellent communication each day, letting you know the good days and any days that might have been off (if they see signs of anything different in my sons general nature). They have an awesome play area, which my son loves and their facility is clean always. I would like to rate LOLA a 4.5 out of 5 (left 0.5 for continuing their improvement in future)and his teacher Ms.Mabel a 5 star for all her good work with the kids.I would recommend this preschool based on my personal experience.

This place is horrible! They neglect the children. They scream at children inappropriately, laugh & mock children/parents. My child came home with poop on underwear for 2 weeks. I addressed it every time & nothing changed until I blew up because their bottom became completely raw due to sitting in feces. This is inhumane & unsanitary. The employees are rude, condescending, disrespectful, uneducated & argumentative. They make excuses for absolutely everything & take zero accountability. They had me sign an incident report at least once a week(usually more) for the past 3 months for my child getting hurt. I confronted them about it because the injuries are getting more frequent & much worse & now my child was hit in the face 2 weeks in a row. My child has been telling me their scared & sounds like theyre being coached on what to say when I ask what happened. Their response was well you have a choice, you can either trust your child with us or find a new school for them. How does that resolve anything!? They never apologize for anything, instead they would just become defensive which only makes them look more guilty. Jaime is extremely rude & makes promises she cannot keep & without consulting with the owner first, then just denies everything & is not held accountable. Jaime & Joses relationship with each other appears to be inappropriate in itself. The owner tried to intimidate us & even screamed at us. The owner used verbiage like your childs situation, because she is adopted. Discriminating against us! We were stuck on a cruise during Hurricane Irma & Maria & held out at sea, without a choice to come home & the owner only cared about money. We have always paid the full tuition (with zero assistance/discount) & always on time! We had vacation time available that could have been used for our child & you would think they would have made an exception due to the circumstances, but they completely refused. They had damage done to the school due to the storm & they still opened their doors, endangering the children. All they care about is money! I have asked weekly how my child is doing & have always been told great from the staff, to only be told now that they feel she is behind. Why is this just now being recognized when I have asked weekly. They do not provide the children with what they need academically & they also do not care for their well-being. Interesting enough my aunt & both of my sisters have their Masters in educated & we had our child evaluated by a 3rd party & all have said definitely not behind. We were informed that they receive funding from the State, so they take all of that money & do not use it for the children. My child had digestion issues & would come home hungry every day, proving to me that she was not eating their food because it was upsetting their stomach. I have asked them 3 times where they get their food catered from. Initially told they couldnt remember the name of the place & then told they just changed places so they didnt know the name of it. My child has been sick constantly because they dont send kids home when they are sick. I told the owner that I was concerned about the amount of incident reports I was having to sign weekly & his response was we are not concerned. How can you not be concerned, my child is getting hurt!? The owner told us that when someone brings him problems, he gets rid of them, sounds like a threat huh?! They just placed locks on the doors, yet they are still completely open & the majority of the time there is no one at the desk. This is a huge risk that a child could walk out/someone could walk in with bad intentions to harm them. What breaks my heart is that my child has a bond with the teacher (whom was absolutely amazing) & the arrogant owner could careless! Our niece & nephew went here 10 years ago when the founders of LOLA owned it & boy has it changed since Jose purchased it. It has done nothing but go downhill & fast. We have pulled our child from this school (or should I say our child was kicked out of this school by the owner).

My son has been with LOLA/Land of Learning now into his 3rd years. LOLA is very much like regular school with a classroom setting. Each year, Lukas moves up to a new teacher. It actually reminds me of Bellamy with the open classroom structure, though they are separated. He comes home randomly singing new songs that he learned. Always has classwork that he did in school. He has been tracing numbers, letters, shapes, etc. since he was 2. He knows the alphabet, how to count, he knows how to write his own name and his latest thing is sounding out words to see what the 1st letter is!!! HE IS 4!!!! This setting helps to feed his constantly learning brain. The staff is fabulous! They handle disciplinary issues in a very lovingly way. I would recommend this school to everyone! Do your child a favor and find another school. My child cried everyday at drop off because he was afraid of this school. Teachers left kids unattended regularly. When picking my child up and walking thru the building to get to my childs classroom, I found kids in rooms alone and teachers in rooms without any kids. After picking up my child and finding him sitting by himself crying with poop and pee in his pants while the teacher was sitting on a cell phone in the corner of the room, I had enough. Our son is now in a new great school where he has it cried once at drop off! That was proof enough that this school was shady.

Beware of this place!!! Check other review apps for more details. You will be shocked!!! I didnt find them until now. Do your research!! This place has no genuine concern for the children. My kids work is never completed, scribbles on paper or blank papers. Teacher will write great job and theres barely anything written on his work. It seems like they dont have small groups to actually teach and ensure the kids are learning. Compared to his last school he used to always bring home his writing, he was learning new letters, shapes, colors and numbers. I bought it to their attention and the response I received was THEN WHY DO YOU BRING HIM HERE?! this now became his last day.So here goes Ive soooo been holding off on writing a review but I cant no more. Its all about the money here and they really dont care about the kids. They have sneaky policies to steal money. Theyre trying to actually over bill me on child care for 2 extra weeks to be exact!!They have no consideration or understanding. The office staff / manager is rude Nice nasty gives off a I dont want to work look/attitude. Totally different from registration. Her attitude changed 2nd day into registering here. I regretted my decision day 2 but I toughed it out. I wouldve switched to another daycare but the vpk coalition only allows one move per school year and I relocated to this area mid year so we were stuck, I actually tried!! And my son never complained but was never excited or had much to say about this place either. Usually he had tons of exciting things to share about his day with his old school. Shapes, colors, letter, things that he did with his friends. But nothing from this place except I got to play outside. So the reason I am here today final topic is MONEY!! This place has been made aware since April (one month prior) that my child was not going to attend their June 9th graduation which is very sad bc we are leaving on vacation for the last day of school, May 25th, Memorial day weekend. We told them in person when asked about cap and gown and also by phone when they called to ask about payment for cap and gown. 2 seperate times we verbally advised them that we are leaving on vacation!!! And 2 times no one has ever mentioned that it has to be in writing. So now today, the week of, I tell them my child will not return until mid June due to vacation and she tells me we still have to pay for 2 weeks of child care because they require a written notice for vacations, even though my child will not attend. I explained to her that I mentioned this before and not once did anyone INCLUDING herself, the office manager, mention anything about a vacation form. I called and personally went to visit the Director Mr. Jose Aquino, this was a total waste. He actually told me he was a wealthy man and didnt have a need. Which is besides me since hes trying to steal 2 weeks of child care regardless if my child attends or not. He has no willingness to assist, he gave off this Im just talking to you because I have to blah blah blah Im not going to help you attitude. It was a complete waste of my time. Even though he knows and its obvious my child wasnt going to attend his June 9th gradution since we didnt purchase the cap and gown in April. He refused to listen and understand my point, he had no willingness to reason. I told him this was unfair to me as a paying parent bc I dont work there, his workers should be equally responsible for advising me of their vacation policy. So pretty much a simple vacation notice turned into a withdrawal. His only defense and response to me was its in your contract and told me to read my contract. He takes no responsibility that I spoke with the manager myself on 2 different occasions. She was right there in person and mentioned to me its not their responsibility to remind the parents of their vacation policy. My comment to add a review was not a form of Bribery. It was a promise more like a threat or guarantee that I would tell everyone of my experience. Also I never seen any written nothing from 4/30/18.

Only giving one star because ther is no 0 available. The employees at this daycare gave my daughter the wrong backpack 2 out of the 3 days she was at this daycare. When we tried to speak to the staff about our concern with the mistake the mangager became argumentative and aggressive and was unwilling to accept any responsibility. We were told that we need to accept that people make mistakes and sine we cannot do that we are no longer to bring our daughter to their daycare. Our concern is not about a backpack but more about the staff accepting responsibility that they need to be more careful and pay more attention . We feel very fortunate to have realized this over a backpack and not after something more serious like a safety issue. When we tried to speak to the owner about this situation he did not want to listen to our cocerns and dismissed our complaint without any investigation into the matter.

LOLA is an amazing school! My daughter, Layla, has been going there since she was a little older than 2. She is now almost 4! They have been a true asset. They helped us from potty training her when she first started to teaching her math currently! They offer several extra ciricular activities too such as dancing, tumbling and Tae Kwon Do which are all very affordable and conveniently take place during school hours so there is no stress on the parent to run them around after school or on weekends. Layla has loved all her teachers and they are all very warm and inviting. The hours are by far the best out there so it fits almost every need and the price you cant beat for what they offer. Absolutely love this school and the staff to pieces. I will be sad when my daughter graduates to another school.

There are not enough words to describe the awesomeness of this school. As a first time parent learning to raise a young child land of learning academy has helped me along the way. For example, I had no idea how to potty train my child. Her teacher told me she will be trained in two weeks as long as I follow her intructions at home. I listened and follow her instructions to the letter and my daughter was potty trained in two weeks it was amazing. This is one example of how caring the teachers are at this school. My daughter loved all her teachers she would cry when they went on vacation or went missing for a day. When she was upet with me at home she would demand to go to her teacher at school. I would laugh and tell her they are at home taking care of their family. The teachers treated my daughter as their own child and that made me very happy. The manger and director of the school was friendly and helpful in every way. If I had an issue or concern they would jump on it very quickly to resolve the problem. The school was in constant communication with me with regards to my daughter and any activities that was being held at the school. The director worked with my pay period and allowed me to pay the tuition when I got paid which helped me tremendously financially. I could not get through these four years at LOLA without the help of all the teacher, staff, manger, and director. It has been a pleasure and joy. I recommend this school to anyone and if I decide to have more children they will be attending this school. LOL teaching my kid Spanish is awesome I love it she says her prayer in spanish at the dinner table and speak it as much as she can sometimes I do not understand a word she says but I just smile. Keep up the great work and job. This is awesome school and totally deserves five stars.

My daughter started LOLA after her 2nd birthday, she is now 3. I was vey apprehensive about putting her in daycare as she had been watched by grandma since I returned to work after maternity leave. I was recommended LOLA by a coworker who had nothing but great things to say about them. Now I am the one who has nothing but fantastic things to say about LOLA. My daughter has learned so much and she LOVES it here. They offer a fun, loving, caring, nurturing environment. They even helped to potty train my daughter within about 2 weeks tops. And the tuition fee is extremely reasonable not only when compared to others but considering the excellent service they provide. I leave my daughter at LOLA in the morning and go to work with the peace of mind that she is in excellent hands and at a place where she loves to be.

I would recommend this preschool to any and everyone I know. The staff/teachers are friendly, patient, and loving with the kids. The entity itself is clean and inviting for the kids. They plan lots of activities for the kids like parades, parties, mothers day breakfasts etc. Both of my boys were very well prepared when they started elementary school. The only negative thing I have to say is when my son was 2 he broke his femur and had to be out of preschool for a few weeks. I had to pay the 2 weeks to disenroll him. I understand that its a business but there should be a process in place for EMERGENCIES ONLY such as this one. That left a sour taste in my mouth because at the moment I felt like they didnt care about my kid. But this is after all a business and money is needed to make it flow. So, I tried not to take it personal and left my baby there. I definetly dont regret it. Great place to have your children! P.S They potty trained both my boys to.

I have 2 kids who have been enrolled in land of learning since they both were fresh out of diapers (2yrs old) and they are now 6 and 5! Let me tell you, I am one of those parents who goes above and beyond when it comes to whos watching my kids, back ground checks, physical inspections of the property, a whole lot of questions etc...and this school has exceeded all of my expectations!!! The owners Mr. Jose and Ms. Ingrid are always well groomed and looking there best which says allot!!! Even though they own the school they dont just manage they property, they actually work there as well and they make it their business to show their faces and engage with all the parents!! All of the employees knows the names of each student and their parents! Not only that but the teachers as well are all friendly and well groomed as well! They treat each other like family rather than employees and co workers and they treat your children as if they are their own, with plenty of hugs and love!! Which is extremely important for the little ones to feel safe and loved!! This school has so much to offer the little ones from taekwondo classes to dance and an awesome after school program which my son is now in! They are always doing extra curricular activities from fall festival parades to Easter egg hunts etc..!! Not to mention they actually have a curriculum they follow! They embrace all cultures and are extremely diverse. My kids came home speaking Spanish after the first few months of being there. This is not a daycare! I repeat this is NOT a day care! This is a school and education takes precedence over any thing else! They are christian based and the kids say their grace before every meal! This school makes your childs transition into elementary as smooth as dove chocolate! The first month of kindergarten my son received student of the month and the following month he received first place in his science fair and is now being tested for gifted and Land of Learning played a major role in these achievements!! As a parent nothing makes your heart melt more then knowing you made the right choice for your childs future!!!Trust me when I tell you, enrolling your child in Land Of Learning will be the best investment you will ever make!!!

If I could rate no stars I would have. My daughter went here for preschool and they do not care. Its a business to these people. Lack of communication about you child and lies. My daughter had not been eating for months and they did not even tell me nor my child was offered fluids and Lied about it. I went to ask my child and she said they put her in time out for eating too slow! When i finally got a conference the tracher said oooo she hasnt ate for months. But the assist said she was apparently eating. They dont watch your childs in the playground. I saw a small child getting hit but older children and said something ans they didnt care. I withdraw my child! You should not attend here!!

My daughter has been going to Land of Learning for 3 years and she is now almost 6 years old. Land Of Learning Academy is very large for a VPK/Day Care facility but the environment is like a small little school where every teacher knows your childs name. I love that they have in-house ballet, gymnastics, karate, and tap & jazz dance teachers that come into the facility to teach the children. At the end of the year the kids put on an awesome show of which we will treasure for a lifetime. They also had a large graduation for VPK and when the kids were leaving all the teachers formed around the doors and cheered for EVERY child that had just graduated. My little one had a huge smile on her face - she felt so extremely special. The VPK program was excellent - Kensey brought home every Thursday all the activities she had done during the week. Working with numbers, writing, reading, time, and money. It is cheaper than most other facilities because of their large size. Everything is clean and they pay attention to my childs needs. My daughter has Miss Kim and Miss Mili as her teachers and they are absolutely great! They bring in the police and fire fighters for visits at various times during the school year. My daughter wouldnt stop speaking about the police cars, ambulance, and fire engine she got to take a close up look at. During the summer they have a summer camp day every week! Rays Games, Lowry Zoo Visits, Skateworld, Bucs Training facility visit, bowling and a lot of awesome stuff! (at no extra costs - its built into the low tuition). My little one absolutely loves it! I would recommend Land of Learning Academy to every parent!
