I have trained at this school for a long time. I started with Taekwondo, kickboxing, and now I’m training BJJ. The instructors are wonderful, honest, and committed to training their students. The instructors want their students to succeed and meet their goals. The training is challenging, but the instructors are there with you every step of the way to make sure you are working the techniques correctly. Overall, they respect their students’ goals and are wonderful to train underneath.

As an adult doing martial arts for the first time (jiu jitsu), I have found the instruction to be very thorough. They have been welcoming from the very beginning. I am loving the workout that I get while meeting some really great people.

My son has been going here for 3months now. He really enjoys it. He is learning to be more disciplined and enjoys earning stripes. I would definitely recommend other parents to look into this program as an outlet for kids and themselves.

You get what you pay for. I wish I would’ve done more research. Only reason why I signed up my daughter was to try a new sport/spring camp. My biggest issue with this place is the safety of the kids. First there is NO sign in/ sign out for parents to sign. I was mind blown when I picked up my daughter the first day and they did not even acknowledge me or looked at me. I just walked in and took my kid! These people who work there don’t say hi or anything to you either. They all look miserable! Every time I picked up my daughter in the evening my daughter was always doing NOTHING just sitting on the mat!! Other kids using cellphones while the instructors were doing absolutely nothing or teaching OTHER kids. If I knew that’s what my daughter was going to be doing instead of having them play games and do interactive stuff I would’ve just kept her HOME. Ontop of this, there was instances where other kids were being rude to my kid telling her things they wish she never showed up! My daughter complained and they brushed her off! I don’t tolerate bullying so that’s why you guys are getting this nasty review! My kid also ate on the FLOOR twice during her stay there. She’s 6. REALLY? I’ll stick with the YMCA next time! I even overpaid accidentally 10$ for the field trips. I purposely stayed quiet to see if they’re professional enough to refund the money and didn’t!!!!! I don’t want it. It just comes to show how bad this business is! l rather pay a couple thousand to know my daughter is SAFE, and treated fairly. If you truely care about your kids. DONT TAKE THEM HERE!!

Not at all the place to take your kids, by a long shot. The owner came out and attempted to fight me - simply over pulling in to his parking lot to check my tire pressure. He told me he was going to have me towed and that I “better hurry up unless I fight for a living and am willing to defend myself over it”. He then hit my car and cussed me out in front of the children he was “teaching”. Needless to say, parents beware.

My son was a bashful kid before enrolling him at J. Park TKD. He has definitely become more confident and has broken out of his shell. The staff are attentive to the students and the discipline they are taught, are top notch! We drive from Wesley Chapel to JParkTKD for a reason. If you have been looking for a martial arts school, definitely stop by and check them out.

Ive been training at J Park Martial Arts just over 7 months earlier this year. I started off choreography training for filming purposes with Master Hoon. Who Ive grown to love and respect his ways and lifestyle along with many others. Ive had the privilege to come across amazing real martial artists/coaches and students like myself in his dojo. His staff are very professional and serious about putting in the work. What I love most is how kind and patient they are when it comes to training and receiving that extra push that we all need time to time again! Whether Im training with Master Hoon, or Master Nguyen, or Coach Dean, I I assure you, you will gained a wealthof knowledgeable techniques from each and every one of them. Master Hoon is a brilliant martial artist, choreographer, and teacher! Ive seen him inspire and empower his students both in self defense but on set as fighters. He also is very positive and will bring the best out of everyone around him! Absolutely loved getting to know him and learn from him, and would be honored to work with him anytime. If youre working an action film, you owe it to your cast and the quality of your project to hire a choreographer/stunt coordinator, and he is one of the best.

MASTER HOON park is an Amazing person and His Martial Arts family are Outstanding people . He has aided me in Stunt Coordinating in my film and also is the Instructor for My little daughter in self defense plus martial arts. Very good people, excellent role models, they teach more than martial arts. Patient with the children, especially those with special needs. One of the best things we have ever done was to get our kids enrolled. They welcome parent involvement.

My son takes taekwando classes there and loves it. He had some behavior challenges and made great progress, he is more in control, learned discipline and respect. The teachers from J park are great peoples and good leaders.

I recently had Master Hoon Park on my action Film set, and he was a dream come true. Not only did he come up with some amazing fight choreography, he also made sure our actresses were confident for their sequences. He comes up with amazing suggestions on the fly for the characters and is extremely enthusiastic toward your project. Hoon, you made this film sparkle with some great fights and a killer girl fight! I recently did makeup for a film that master Hoon was choreographing the action scenes. He was amazing, incredibly patient and everyone nailed their parts. I think his instruction is impeccable.

J park has been great for us so far as an after school program. Our daughter loves the experience she is having. Instructor Yung is a wonderful person and role model. Disciplined, fair, understanding, caring, and non-judgemental.

Ive been training with J Park Martial Arts and its been the best experience I could ever ask for. I started Tae Kwon Do and I learned so much within 5 years of practice. I just recently started Kickboxing and theres alot that we go over, and Master Hoon is always up to date with new drills and new techniques while still keeping the basics very sharp.

This is my second home since 2008.. I come and train everyday. Great staffs and peers; the program gets me into great physical and mental shape.

I love this place. I was out of shape and never trained before attending a class at J Park Martial Arts. I was afraid of lagging behind but my worries disappeared after a few classes. The instructor and even the regulars there that made me feel at home.

The staff here are aful and rude. They take your kids stuff when ever they feel like it,especially when it cost a lot of money!if I could I would give-100,000!

Son (8) really likes both the after school program and the holiday/no school camps. Instructors are friendly and havent had any issues.

Ill put it this way. Due to life circumstances, I do not train there anymore. But I can tell you this....I miss that place so much. Its not just a physical training and typical martial arts training where people think it is...its a place where you truly test yourself to the limit and try to become the best of the best in whatever you train. In the duration of time that I trained with J Park, you have no idea how much they have motivated me and pushed me to to strive for the best I can be. Its not about how fancy your kicks are or how high you can jump and break boards....J Park is a 2nd or 3rd family to everyone. The masters (Master Hoon and Master Joon), instructors, and the folks that are involved with the students are some of the best and respectable people Ive met. They will support you in your training and mental support that alot of other places cannot provide. Dont believe me? Try it out yourself. I am confident enough to tell you guys that despite me not being able to train there anymore, I always think about that place sometimes and cant wait to go back once I finish college. I still have a long way to go when it comes to my physical standards and mental strength, but they have set a foundation for me in which I learned and use it throughout my life. That is what real martial arts is about. Its not putting on that uniform or how well you can fight. Its the mental strength and the sheer determination that enables you to survive in any conditions. J Park shows you that and guides you through that path toward greater strength. I am more scared of a white belt that is produced from J Park than a black belt that comes out from a bogus dojang (Just being honest). Dont take my word for it...go see it for yourself.
