I spent 10 years here as a student and I must say I had a good experience. During my elementary years I had kind teachers who seemed to care about the students, and I never had any problems with bullying. The Jr. High offers a wonderful selection of classes with amazing teachers. The teachers actively engaged with each student which really helped me feel appreciated. I was even able to become friends with several of my teachers. I would recommend this school and I hope others can have as good of an experience as I had.

I went here my 7th, 8th, and 9th grade years and can honestly say that this school is by far much better than any of the public counterparts. The entire time I was there, I cant think of a single actually bad thing that happened. The teachers were mostly nice and the students werent unbearable. Overall a pretty positive experience.

I used to go here, it is an amazing school! The staff is awesome and the school lunches are WAYYYY better than the public schools. I would definitely recommend sending your kids here!

Had a great experience here for the 3 years I was there, staff is nice, food is good, and I made some good friends. Wish I can go back.

My comment is geared towards the (kindergarten) teachers. My child had a very poor experience in school two years ago. And sadly it has effected their schooling ever since. We decided to not enroll for 1st grade- best decision we made. The kindergarten teachers both should be teaching a higher grade, or not teach young children at all. Neither to me had the patience for kindergarten. Both are yellers, and speak harsh and unkind. (Which I saw where volunteering is required.) They expect perfection out of 5 and 6 year olds. There were even times they’d physically pull on a child when the child wasn’t listening. In my opinion - no person has the right to touch my child in that way, ever! Definitely was not the experience we had hoped for, for our first year of school.

Staff is terrible

Ive been at Syracuse Arts Academy since 3rd grade and Im currently in 9th grade. Great school. I had a great learning experience there and I recommend it to anyone who is wanting to have a great education. The only thing I would wish the school had were more elective classes, but other then that this school gives everyone the high education they need. The teachers here are stupendous and very educated on what they are teaching. Any parent wanting their kids to have the best education they can get should send them to Syracuse Arts Academy.

This was my kids first year going to the school. We have had a great experience. One of my kids is on a IEP, the first semester we had some issues. I of course being my child advocate expressed my concern and they immediately addressed all my issues no problems. Both kids attended the new north campus, we have been only in the public system. It was very strange going from public school district to charter. You pay your lunch differently and you have to do 30 volunteer hours for the whole year. There are multiple ways to accomplish this. My only grip is the multiple emails for help, during day hours. They seem out of touch that not everyone is a stay at home mother. Some people do have to have two parents working. It comes across as if they dont take that under consideration for things they ask for! Also the lack of how they organize how you volunteer and sign up for stuff. Some things they do use a sign up. Other stuff they dont. Plays, choir all activities is a free. Sometimes 20 per child. No options if you cannot afford it. The. After paying the fee you also are expected to get your Child to choir practice and volunteer hours to help them out. the school is almost 💯 volunteer, even their web sight information which in some areas will not be updated consistently because they have no one to do it. Over all I have enjoyed our first year, if you are looking for something different I would suggest this school. The classes are way smaller than normal. My kids were at sand springs which is a year round school, and it was way too many kids!

Great school. All of our kids enjoy going here. The staff has been very understanding working with our special child.

If you want your kid to be in a fun loving and educational environment put your kid into this school. The staff is so kind. I wish I go to their school. Please put your child in SAA

This school is nice, but you may stumble upon good and mean teachers, but the Principle is very nice and friendly there.

I was bullied my entire education here, physically and socially, the office knew, most they did was told us to stop roughhousing and never contacted my parents. the education was alright, strict and held to a high standard
