Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School is awesome! Both of my children have attended this school. My husband and I are very pleased with the education both of my children have received. Also, from Mrs. Miller the dean to the office staff, Ms. Taylor to all my kids teachers Ms. Cusano and last year Ms. Figueroa to name a few have been great! The teachers are very dedicated to their students and care about them. This school is very refreshing and we love it.

Our experience at SAS has been nothing but positive during these difficult times. The staff there has been nothing short of supportive. They make online/zoom learning exciting, fun and informative while meet our childrens educational. needs. The communication is very open and additional help for our kids is always available. They are doing everything to ensure that our kids succeed . Also the parental support is great as well, sometimes Ive needed help with ways to support our kids learning and the teachers are always available to meet my needs and answer questions.

My son has gone to Syracuse Academy of Science for two years now. He is challenged with a rigorous and engaging curriculum daily. He looks forward to seeing his teachers each morning and their warm, welcoming demeanors. They go above and beyond to meet the needs all of the diverse learners in the classroom. Syracuse Academy of Science has a wonderful way of celebrating cultural diversity that I also find extremely important.

Two of my children attend SAS Elementary and it has been a life changing experience for them. They both have their challenges academically, but they have progressed in a way that Ive never imagined. The curriculum there challenges them to reach their full potential and they are more social now. I would recommend this school to any parent for their children. Go Atoms!!!

I had the opportunity to participate and work with the amazing staff at Syracuse Academy of Science to help celebrate the month of February. Through the use of Zoom, SAS allowed me to put together a fun, informative and interactive video for the kids at their school. Despite the global pandemic, SAS’s creativity made it possible to have virtual presenters in honor of Black History Month. Thank you Syracuse Academy of Science for all that you do to help stimulate the minds and encourage cultural diversity among your students.

I bet this is a great school because my brother goes there and seems happy with his friends and i go to the middle school so yeah the schools are great!!!

Both of my children have gone to SAS since kindergarten. The teachers are amazing and always go above and beyond for their students. The curriculum is rigorous and works to grow students. The population is diverse and the school works to celebrate that diversity with special events throughout the year.

SAS ELEMENTARY does a great job. My children learned coding in addition to all the other educational subjects. They are truly preparing youth in STEM subjects as well as exposing to different cultures. They really encourage parent involvement and create a safe atmosphere for learning.

This is my sons 2nd year at the elementary school. I think the kids get more interaction and experiences with different things than in the city school. I myself went to and graduated from SAS when it was still new and the growth that I have seen, over the years is so cool! Im very lucky that I am able to send my children and let them get a great education. Obviously there have been struggles with covid but that is not the schools fault and I believe they are managing and handling it the best that they possibly could.

My oldest started at SAS in 2016, and weve been nothing but satisfied since that first year. Everyone from the teachers, to staff and administrators have always been as helpful and accommodating as possible. The teachers in each grade level have been phenomenal (we of course have our favorites!), and have always been pleased with the communication through the DOJO app. For the most part, weve been able to get extra help where needed academically. We currently have two students enrolled, and hoping our younger two children will follow the same path.Things have obviously been a little different for the last year with the pandemic. Teachers are working harder than ever now, trying to give kids the best possible experience with remote/hybrid schedules. Ive been very pleased with the live Zoom calls that have begun for my daughter on her remote days. The pandemic has been a learning experience for all, and are hopeful for a more normal school year next fall. We have missed the many field trips and community outings that help enrich the students education and look forward to their return. Our daughter is in 4th grade this year, and we are all a little nervous and sad shell be leaving the Elementary school next year!

My nephew will be attending next year. Ive heard great things and he is very excited about going!

As parents of a Kindergarten student our decision to send our son to Syracuse Academy of Science is one decision we will never regret. We feel that SAS provides him with a solid STEM foundation. Through the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Dean and Teachers have made the safety of students and their learning a primary goal. The teachers are so engaged with the students and make learning fun even on Zoom. Our son looks forward to attending school each day and returns home excited about what he has learned that day. Although, our sons academic career is young, we believe SAS is preparing him for success and excellence.

My daughter has attended SAS since kindergarten and she is receiving an excellent education. It is eviedent that the quality of my daughters education is the Teachers top priority. From the use of technology to the way inwhich the Teachers engage with the students even through remote learning, I feel as if my daughter is receving a top notch private education. I highly recommed SAS-Elementary School Campus to anyone who is serious about their childrens education!

I have 2 children that attend SAS (2nd/7th grade) and I couldn’t be more proud. As a parent we hope and pray that when when send out kids off to school they being taken care of, at SAS u will get that. From kindergarten through middle school and off to high school where, it’s not a if they leave for college it’s when. Every faculty member of the school is caring and they all want to each child to succeed. I’m a proud mama, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you Syracuse Academy for all you do!

I went here from 2012 to 2014 and it was a great school the classes were great and the teachers were good! I have a lot of memories here and I loved almost every bit of it.

Syracuse Academy of Science claims to be a charter school but it is just as bad as any other Syracuse city school! The middle school needs a metal detecter and other ways of protection. The teachers are not qualified and they have a very bad teacher rate, meaning many teachers leave because of whatever reason. I had experience with SAS and it is not a good school, they are wasting many innocent children brains! please do not send your children to SAS !
