The instructors are amazing. They make you feel welcomed. The other students who have been there awhile and are black belts are very helpful. Everyone is very encouraging. I look forward to going to class.

The classes at Legendary are motivating, encouraging, and challenging. The staff is friendly and attentive to the youngest to the eldest participant. The Thorntons are great!!

My Wife Randomly signed our 8 year old up for karate and Im glad she did. Weve been going there over a month now and its awesome seeing little man following along and learning new stuff! They have new weapons they learn new moves with every couple of months which is new to us and exciting. The Staff is really awesome and positive plus place is clean.

After Mrs. Thornton showed me and my daughter what they were about, I knew it was a meant to be. You won’t find a better place! I have been a student of this school since 2014 and my skills have far excelled from what I expected. Mr Thornton and his staff have taken me from basically a beginner in Martial Arts to State & District Champ in 2 of the 3 events I was competing in. I have looked at and tried other schools prior to making my decision as to where I wanted to train Martial Arts and this school offered more opportunities than any other. We attended a 7th birthday party here. My girls, 8 & 3, had a GREAT time!! Mr. Thornton was so good with all of the kids - teaching them some basic martial arts moves and self defense skills, all while having a fabulous time! He played games, kept their focus, included everyone, and enriched and engaged all children of all ages while we were there! This is the place you want to go! This is not your typical martial arts school, and that is evident the moment you walk in. Here we are a family. Whether you are a student or spectator, you are part of the Legendary Family and everyone will make sure you feel that way. Adults, be prepared to become a student! Sure you may, like so many before you, think Im just going to put the kids in it but before you know it, with encouragement from your Legendary family of course, join in on the fun. Tae Kwon Do not your game...Dont work Mr Thornton teaches Krav Maga and X-Fit (High Intensity Cardio Workout). There is something for everyone. This is school offers more than self-defense, it offers Life Defense! You will make friends, you will laugh, but you will also learn to defend yourself from others and yourself. This is a positive place with motivated people, who are open and inviting. Mr Thornton is a wonderful instructor. People from all over the valley come to train just with him. I have trained, and will continue to train, with Mr. Thornton. I have watched what he does now for three years and I am impressed by his methods and skills. I have read other reviews that refer to grappling... I fail to see where grappling is even used in Taekwondo.This points out a complete lack of knowledge on the part of the person writing the review.Mr. Thornton works with students from all ages. He has very young martial artists and older martial artists that have excelled in tournaments. His school will be represented at the ATA World Competition in Little Rock, Arkansas due to the exemplary performances of some of Mr. Thorntons students at the recent ATA Districts Competition. He teaches straight forward, no nonsense techniques. He has Adult classes, Tiny Tiger classes (geared toward children), Hyper Class (working on jumps, flips, and kicks), Krav Maga (there is some grappling), and X-Fit (Fitness classes). Picking the right class is not hard, but if assistance is desired in choosing the proper course of instruction, the admin staff (who are all martial artists in their own right) will gladly help!If your looking for a place develop your or your family members Taekwondo or Krav Maga skills then this is the place!
