Its been 2 weeks and my soon to be 5 year son is enjoying the classes. I must applaud the trainers who are teaching him with a lot of patience. Im glad we choose this place and totally recommend.

I am a student in this class and I have been training for the past 3 years or so I am a brown belt and I started with this dojo. Sensei Dennis is a very good teacher and mentor and so are the adults that help him out during the classes 10000/10 recommend it.

Sensei Dennis is an excellent instructor. He shows a lot of passion in teaching karate to his students. Especially, he has a lot of patience with kids. He takes care of each and every student and puts in a lot of effort for their improvement. He is ably supported by his team (Sensei Patty, Sensei Joe and others) in his endeavor.

This Dojo is great! Sensei Livotto and the rest of instructors offer best quality training. There is also great support from the black belt sempais, which is a big plus. And twice a year we get to participate in SKIF´s trainings in the Houston area with World Chief Instructor and Kancho Kanazawa from Japan. Highly recommended!!

The Woodlands Shotokan Karate school is a traditional Japanese Dojo, which follows the high teaching standards and traditions set by the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF) in Japan. Students learn the art of karate along the discipline and focus required to correctly master the fundamental building blocks of karate. Testing and promotions follow the high standards set by the Japanese SKIF organization and promotion to Black Belt is under the strict supervision of Japan..The childrens class (6:30 MW) is taught in a very positive manor and at a level conducive to their learning and developing focus, discipline and self-esteem.The intermediate and advanced class (7:30 MW and 10:00 Sat) follow more strict training standards. Students will develop techniques that are correctly executed, and strong knowledge of the Principals and philosophies of Shotokan Karate.Sensei Dennis Livotto, Sensei Joe Formica and Sensei Patty Tanner are excellent teachers and will guide each student progress and encourage them to continuously improve.
