I loved how all of the drivers were so relaxing, it made it so easy to learn! Especially Mr. Morris’s different tips and tricks that most people wouldn’t know! Great experience overall and I would definitely recommend my friends to go here for their lessons and test!

I had 12 hours driving classes and so glad with Mr. Morris, which is a really nice, patient, professional driving tutor! I came from where I didnt have to drive at all and here in Houston I must learn to drive. I told Mr. Morris my background and he assured that he would help me through all the difficulties. Without his patient and professional skills with new learner, I wouldnt be able to drive now! From the first lesson driving with lots of fear til I can drive at ease, I couldnt thank Mr. Morris more! Took my adult road test here and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who needs to take their driving test. You get 3 tries for the price of one but honestly the test was very chill and comfortable so you probably won’t fail. Recommending this place to my family!

It was my last year of school, at the time I was a senior, when I was started to attend A-Plus Driving School Inc to be able to learn to drive. Im so very thankful for casa worker who was willing to pay for my education in full, as well as my case worker found out shortly after me telling her that I was starting drivers ed education she sent the school 200 additional dollars for anything that might have been missing. An because of them I was able to get my license two months later. Thank you, forever very grateful, and appreciative.

A Plus taught both of my kids how Drive. Great program. They are good with the kids but they take their mission very seriously. I am so pleased with the entire experience. From the school to the road test. I highly recommend them.

Our experience with A-Plus driving school was five star. The owners were courteous and helpful. The driving test instructor was nice and helpful to ease my daughters nerves while she took the test. They give you your test after you are done to show you how you did. Everything was very professional. I would definitely recommend them for a teen taking their test.

This place was awesome. It was the only place I found that you could go to for this 6 hour course .We did not have a computer to do this course for my grandson. Also we did the drivers test there also. There was no waiting. He got his license very quickly. Also there employees where all fantastic.

A-plus was amazing! We purchased the 7hr driving to allow for more driving practice and to give me a piece of mind. Instructor was great, and scheduling drives were very easy and convenient. We also did the driving test which was very convenient with no waiting. If only the DMV wasn’t closed to obtain license 🤦🏽‍♀️.

I’m 19 years old, and I’ve put off getting my license for the longest time. I went through the SafeWay driving teen course during high school, but didn’t want to go through with taking their road test, so I tried my luck with the DPS. I failed my first road test with them, and honestly I feel like I deserved a better score, as I drove practically as good with the DPS as I did at A-Plus. As far as professionalism and fast service goes, this driving school wins by a long shot. They had me in and out, and the driving instructor who tested me informed me of every aspect he’d be grading me on, also walking me through the entire test before I began. I recommend this school for those who are in the same boat as me and high school students alike! I have no doubt that their driver’s ed courses are just as promising as the way their road test policies are structured. Thank you, A-Plus!

At first my son was reluctant, but after the first in class session he was happy that we enrolled him. It was tough on him though because as soon as we registered him for his first 3 driving lessons the pandemic began and we were put on hold. We were excited when we got the notice that driving lessons were back on the table. We were done in under 3 weeks...7 lessons and a road test! We are now waiting for his drivers license. Shantel was great! She promptly returned my calls and answered all my questions. The process was simple. They sent an email with all the requirements. My husband took my son to take the test. He said they were running right on time. Not much waiting. My son took the test while my husband waited at their lobby. After my son passed his test they gave us clear instructions on what to do next. We already mailed all the necessary documentation and now were waiting on DPS to mail my sons DL.

All the instructors are extremely helpful and I learned how to drive within months.I highly recommend this school, the classes are enjoyable yet we learn at the same time and we get in car driving experience. Without their wonderful driving instructors I would not be as successful in driving as I am today. Also they are very cooperative when it comes to dealing with any minor conflicts that occur and is cheap would highly recommend over Safeway.

It has been a struggle getting my license for a very long time due to anxiety and my circumstances. I first took private driving lessons here and the instructor made me feel comfortable and not nervous at all. He talked to me more as a person, rather than a customer.Because of my great experience, I also decided to take my road test here. The owner/road test instructor was very kind and also made you feel comfortable. I had taken road tests at the DPS and because of bad experiences I had never been able to pass the road test. I immediately felt comfortable before starting and actually got a perfect score. I wish I had come to this place sooner rather than going to the DPS. They made the process so easy. We had an excellent road test experience with A-Plus. They sent me a checklist of everything we would need to bring for both the driving test at their location and then the DPS checklist to get the actual license. The gentleman that took my daughter for her diving test was, in her words, “chill and a genuinely nice guy!” What a great experience...thank you A-Plus!

This place was great for my son. He learned a lot and the instructors were very great! The only reason I am rating this a 3 is because I feel like the customer service from Chantel at the front could be improved. She comes across very abrasive and confrontational instead of welcoming. And I’m sorry, you aren’t nice to me don’t expect it in return. And definitely don’t try to make a scene in front of other people! I’d encourage you guys to work on this especially when you have students coming in for their road test. This creates a stressful environment. Not to mention as the parent, and your customer who has paid for your service, I expect a little bit of decency. Thankfully my son passed his test.I told them thank you for everything and they just ignored me! My suggestion, when someone comes in...kindly welcome them. If you are busy with someone, kindly take their name down and politely ask them to have a seat and that you will call them when you are ready. Do not be rude, and order people around and look for confrontation without even knowing who you are talking to. So, like I said, from one business owner to another, you need to work on just being friendly and helpful.

I can be timid and this is partly my fault. Anyway I payed for Parallel parking lessons and I wasnt able to try it myself after being guided a couple of times. I tried to tell my tutor to let me try parallel parking myself without any kind of help and finally gave up when I was still be guided. The tutor was really nice, but this is really frustrating for someone who is having a very hard time with Parallel parking. This is a good place to go when you dont want to wait for taking a Driving Test to get your license sooner and willing to pay.

Im so thankful for the staff and instructors at A Plus driving school! I used them 20 years ago for myself when I was 16 and used them again for my 16 year old daughter. Same great service, teaching and training. I highly recommend! We both took our tests with A plus, not at the DPS and it is well worth it! Thank you A Plus!!!

I chose to teach my daughter how to drive myself but when it came to the actual driving test I knew that she would have a lot of anxiety going to the DMV so I looked for a solution and I found it.This place not only was the best choice And that was confirmed when she passed her driving test and I saw her smiling.I knew I had made the right choice for my daughter. This is a more personal experience and by far the best choice for anyone who has a child that might be a little bit timid or intimidated by the big DMV. The price was reasonable and completely well worth it my daughter had the best experience during the testing.

This place is extremely professional and the owner Chantell takes customer service to another level. My daughters learners permit was due to expire in three weeks and they were able to get her on the schedule, call us to fill in on canceled appointments, and walked us through the entire process. Our only regret was not finding this place sooner. We definitely would have taken the classroom hours here. Not to mention, we DID utilize the option to take the road test with A-Plus Driving School. Scheduling was stress free, there werent any long uncomfortable lines, and It didnt take a trip to horrible DPS only to sit there for 6 hours, just to schedule an appointment. Even if you tried DPS online, Im pretty sure your learners may expire by the time they get you in... Im just saying :) Take it from me, you may just want to go with A-Plus Driving School for classroom, behind-the-wheel, and road test. If youre anything like me and value customer service, its worth every penny.

A-pus driving school is TOP NOTCH! We have 3 kids and wish we would have found A-Plus for the first one. We tried Safeway for the first teen and the instructor was not clear or thorough. I did not realize the difference until we went to A-Plus. When our middle son was ready to go through this process we searched for a better place and decided on A-Plus, we were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable woman who explained the process in detail. The driving instructor was patient and knowledgeable. The instructor helped my son feel at ease behind the wheel and helped drive home the importance of defensive driving. My daughter is completing her driving now with A-plus. Initially, she pleaded with me for parent taught lessons (which I do not believe should be allowed, teenagers/kids listen to a 3rd party better than parents & some parents do not insist on all the driving experience before they allow them to get a license, etc.!) so, earlier this year and against my better judgement I allowed her to take the online portion. She was doing a great job driving, although I still wanted her to go to A-Plus. Her brother suggested to her that she should go to A-Plus to receive more instruction from a professional! He told her how much he appreciated the learning experience he received from A-Plus. She finally was at easy about going so I immediately signed her up there. FYI. I had told her that although I have taught her how to drive and that she has the hours, that she can NOT receive her license until she goes to A-Plus! SO I am glad it all worked out for her to feel comfortable. I am so very thankful for A-Plus and their professionalism. Also, this is the BEST place to take the driving test to get your license! You do not have to be in the mess at the DMV!!! People these are your children you are putting behind the wheel. If you were like me and considered parent-taught. Think about that the fact these A-Plus are professionals at what they do, they have the proven experience to teach people. Just like you have the experience to do what you do for a living. Bottom-line is we love and appreciate A-Plus and would highly recommend their services.

This Driving School is not recommended. There is no person at the office during normal office hours. They provide instructions that are not very clear or understand. This is good place to get Driver Test Done short wait times. We have had much better success getting help with Safeway School. There are multiple locations for Safeway and are much better and communicate clear human understandable simple steps. Dont not waste any money at APLUS unless you are ready lost and get frustrated with poor & low grade support. Stay Away, I would only recommend schools that have humans at front office and answer questions.

We use this school to aviod the DPS expected government service (or the lack of it)The driving instructors are very polite, unlike the lady on the counter who just want to run the place like drill sergeant!My daughter and the instructor walked away from the building and she ordered me to go inside the class room, it was people coming out of it so I stop to let them out and she continued (not asking) but ordering me to get inside....I refrained my self and let it go.Afted my daughter took the test I went ouside to the parking lot to ask her how was it, she told me they may need me inside, went back asking if they do and the lady gave mean attitude again, so I let her know I was expecting to be treated as a customer not as an inmate, she reply telling me how bussy she was and just gave me a round around then I let her know I didnt like the firts incident either.She slow down, tried to be calmed, ut never apologized for anything, simply denied to ever been rude.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. These reveiws saying that the owner or secretary gives amazing customer service are all false and I reccomend you call them and see for yourself. The lady does NOT want to help you and sees everyone that comes through her door as a distraction or problem rather than the reason she has her job- to help people. They will refuse service and hang up on you if they please. They NEVER pick up the phone and they will sweet talk you into signing up and then ignore you completely when you have already paid. The class instruction was ok at best but this place is not worth your money!

I am upset, that the person that answered that phone today hang up on my, while I was asking questions about driving classes. She explained some things about having a driving license before getting registered to their classes. For me, that was weird since I can not have a license, if I have not idea how to drive a car. I told her that I went already to the department of licensing and registration,and they told me to get register to a school of driving first, and then take the registration letter and take it to the department of licensing to get the permit. She just did a kind hummmm voice and hang up. What a bad customer service. Thanks alot maam.
