My daughter has been attending Discoveries Learning Center on Hollister for a few months now and we have loved everything about this special place! The teachers are so kind and welcoming. They keep the children busy with creative activities that help them learn so much along the way. I love that my daughter talks about her teachers all day even at home because she loves them so much. The director, Karin, has been so easy to communicate with. She is always responsive and you can tell she really cares about the families. All of the staff has been wonderful. We would highly recommend this preschool to our family and friends!

To say my son loves Discoveries Learning Center is an understatement. He cannot wait to get to “the Farmhouse” each morning to see his teachers and his friends. When I pick him up, he is so excited to tell me about his day and all the fun things he did at school. My son’s baseline is happy but his happiness is truly on another level since he has been attending Discoveries. The teachers are excellent and they love what they do. My son feels cared for, loved, and valued by all the teachers and staff at Discoveries. I have also seen a huge impact on his language and knowledge development since he started at Discoveries just 3.5 months ago. I credit that to the freedom that the teachers at Discoveries give to the children to explore what interests them.Karin Beal, the Center Director at Discoveries, and Lucy Fay, the Health and Safety Director, are just phenomenal. Karin and Lucy work tirelessly to make sure that the children are safe and follow healthy habits while at school. They are also very responsive to parents’ concerns and incredibly collaborative in addressing any concerns or issues.Overall, the learning and growing environment at Discoveries is nurturing in the most loving way. My son is a lucky boy to have the opportunity to attend Discoveries!

My boy loved Discoveries, Bright Horizons. He had indescribable joy to arrive there each day. He formed a bond with both the kids and the teachers there, that Im not sure will be replicable at other centers. With the Covid-19 situation, Karin was so kind in working with us to find our comfort zone. Bottom line, she and the rest of the staff are amazing.

We have been at Discoveries for the past 3 years with both of our kids. We have absolutely love the teachers and staff, the structure and curriculum as well as the facilities and room for create play. Both of our kids have grown so much there in terms of social, emotional and intellectual development. Discoveries had help nurture their sense of self and mindfulness towards others and the earth.

This daycare is such a wonderful place and I have only good things to say. The staff is warm, welcoming and caring. Her teacher truly cares about the kids and comes up with exciting new projects every day. The kids spend a lot of time outdoors, painting, crafting and learning new things. My kid loves it here.

When our little boy was 18 months old, he began going to Discoveries. The love and care he received from the teachers was beyond what we expected. The outdoor space was our main deciding point on sending him to Discoveries, but since hes been attending (he is now 2 1/2 years old), thereve been so many other benefits - friendship building, sharing, reading, art, etc.. Were very happy with our decision and thankful for their staff.

We have been sending our little one to Discoveries for over a year now and it has been a great experience! The staff is excellent, engaging and very positive. Teacher Alicia is absolutely wonderful and I cannot say enough amazing things about her! We get daily updates from the school with the topics they learned about and photos of their daily activities. And through COVID they have been diligent in making sure the kids and families are safe. Wonderful School!

Discoveries has been an amazing experience for our family. My son has been going for the past year and he loves it. His teachers and the staff are amazing. My son’s vocabulary has really improved and they helped potty train him. The campus is really nice and secure. We feel so lucky that we found this place- highly recommend!

A wonderful preschool daycare center with a fun filled schedule and able to accommodate drop in care if space permits. I was in Santa Barbara for a few weeks and they took in my 3 year old who loved it there. They have a huge place with a classrooms, playground, grass area, garden, outdoor reading area, and garden. I was told that they bring their classroom outdoors because of the great weather. Thanks Dora and Sofya!
