I love this daycare for my son. Specially staff and directors always welcoming my son with open arms. Mrs.Sarah is my sons teacher and she’s wonderful at her job!! I LOVE SMA!!! Highly recommend 10/10 ☀️ ❤️

Our biggest regret moving away is having to leave this daycare. Kaleb did not stay long but he had such great care. The ladies are so amazing! When there was a minor problem with a child biting or hitting my son they addressed it immediately. My husband and I still say we wish he can go back. The ladies were always happy and all smiles. My son was happy there and had bad separation anxiety at the beginning but they really eased him in and he then didn’t want to come home! Thank you to all the ladies!!

I love working here, the director is great, she always goes above and beyond for her employees especially when its our birthday and Christmas. The kids are terrific, I love working with the 3s its such a fun place to work. :) Especially the parents see our work ethic and surprise us with goodies or verbally tell us how wonderful we are!

Was happy to see in these past 9months that my grandbabies liked being dropped off here. My granddaughter (2yrs old)has had several different teachers and never had an issue with any of them. But was overall pleased majority of the times. Minor issue here and there but was pleased. About a week or maybe 2weeks ago my granddaughter teacher changed - highly terrible outcome. The entire time she has had a ring and a James Avery charm bracelet. At the beginning, the ring became and issue. We were informed so it was put away. She never had an issue with the bracelet. Being here at home, she NEVER messed with the bracelet. So, Friday evening we go to dinner. I noticed bracelet is gone. I asked my granddaughter where it was...she said teacher. I asked her - teacher took it off? She replied yes. This was LaborDay weekend --had to wait until Tuesday. Nothing about the bracelet was written on the daily report we get each day. My daughter asked the teacher -her answer is oh, she was messing with it and I TOOK IT OFF AND PLACED IN HER CUBBY OR BACKPACK. It was in neither. When informing the director -her reply is we are not responsible for it. Her own employee did not tell her that she took it off my grandchild -my daughter had to tell the director. Not a freakn apology from this professional director.Come to find out the teacher in this classroom is NOT certified for childcare. Just because you have experience in babysitting doesnt make you eligible to do daycare in a facility. Dont hire people who steal from children!! Glad to say...children were pulled from this facility. Happy to take them where they belong!

I love love love this daycare!!! I put both my boys here and they always had a blast! They couldn’t wait to go and didn’t want to leave when I picked them up. I HIGHLY recommend this daycare!!!!! They’re amazing and it’s totally worth the money!!!! The staff are awesome and are excellent at communication!

I had been calling daycares in the area for a couple days when I came across SMA on a google search. My family and I had been displaced and just moved to TX and I needed daycare immediately. Stephanie saved me. She got me the paperwork that day and let him start the next day. I was mind blown by her service and how quickly she understood my hardship and wanted to help as best she could. The set up is perfect. When you walk in, you can see all of the classrooms and the children. It’s secure as you must ring a bell to get in and identify yourself. Every morning staff would greet us with love, sometimes even sing good morning to us as we walked to his classroom. They were so welcoming and warm EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s hard dropping your baby off with people you’ve never met, but because of how they treated us when we walked in, I always left feeling secure that my son would be safe and loved on. All of the staff are supportive and loving and that is so important. They cared about my situation and earned my trust immediately. If you need care and you’re in the Med center, I highly recommend SMA. His previous daycare loved on him too, but there was no curriculum or learning activities. They read to these kids, have learning programs playing on their huge TVs, they paint & celebrate holidays. I got the most amazing gift from my son for Mother’s Day that brought tears to my eyes & I will cherish it forever. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me & my family. If I ever move back to the Med Center area, he will be back!!

Our daughter has been going here about 2 months now, and we Love it. Their infant program is amazing the teachers are caring and attentive. The school is clean, secure and welcoming. Were excited for her to remain in their care.

My son has been attending here for several months now. And I must say he is happy here. Hes teachers have been very sweet and wonderful. The staff is friendly and very easy going. Especially Mrs. Mary she always has a good sense of humor. I definitely would recommend other parents to bring their children here.

This daycare has amazing women who care for our children as if they were there own. My daughter has been coming here since she was three months old. She has transitioned well in each class, they have helped me so much with my daughter. The teachers are friendly and great with the kids I have never had a problem with this daycare. Amazing director Alicia! Amazing front staff Mary and Diana ! All these ladies are outstanding! Potty training was a tough one for us. My daughter was stubborn but her teacher Irma and Samantha were my saviors and I owe the daycare and teachers for helping with that! New teacher Sara is so good to my daughter I will always recommend Sunshine Montessori Academy to all my family and friends !

The administration and staff at Sunshine Montessori Academy are very sincere and caring. I feel like everyone generally cares about my daughter. The facility has been updated and is a very spacious, clean, safe, and loving environment. They provide all the meals/snacks so I never have to pack my daughters lunch. My husband and I are happy we found such a great place and highly recommend it with the highest remarks.

My Grandson loves his school the ladies at the front are so cheerful an friendly. My Grandson cant wait for Monday to come so he can go back to school. He has really learned so much in the time he has been there. All the teachers are so patient an go way beyond to help each child with what ever project they are doing. The day care is also kept so clean. My Grandson is very happy there. Thank you to all the teachers an especially the Director for being so car ring.

Went and toured the day care and knew this was the right place for my son. Can’t wait to get him started next week. Friendly staff and clean condtitons and also very affordable.

Our son has been there for a year, his first year in life, and they have had the most gentle, loving and accepting environment for all of us to transition through all the phases of his life so far. I love this place.

I love Sunshine Montessori Academy. I have had my son there for three years. The directors, Ms. Alice and Ms. Mary have always been very helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond their duties. They treat us like family. I love the teachers my son has had there, they have always been loving, compassionate, and nurturing. My son has learned so much at this preschool. At three years old, they have taught him the planets and the continents, he has learned the whole alphabet, visually and phonetically, he has learned to count and write his numbers. And most of all, they potty trained him. He loves his teachers. He says they’re his best friends. The facility is very well laid out, with lots of visibility between rooms and the staff there maintains it very clean. I wouldn’t have him anywhere else. Before enrolling him at Sunshine Montessori, I did visit other child care centers in the area. This is by far the best place for my son and I highly recommend it.

My son goes here for the past 2 years and he loves it..we like what they do and what they teach the kids .my son is 4 and he already started to read words, he knows solar system and continents .we are pleased that our son has so many good friends there ..all the staff are very nice and caring .I highly recommend this place.Thank you sunshine montessori academy.

This daycare is poorly ran. Dont get me wrong, the teachers are great! But the director, Alice, is very un professional. She yells at her employees in front of the kids and is very rude with some of the parents.

My son has been attending since he was 10 months old and is now almost 3 and a half. The staff are compassionate, caring, and dedicated to nurturing each child. They have guided and supported my sons learning to not only topics he will need to succeed in kindergarten such as colors, ABCs, and shapes, but also to topics that will help foster values we hold important to his growth as an individual: caring, kindness, forgiveness, thankfulness, and politeness. An example of this was at around 18 months (maybe less) old my son was taught to hug to say sorry or comfort someone when they were upset. Another example was that he was taught to place his plastic/ paper dishes in the trash after the meals he was provided. These lessons carried over at home (we suddenly had disappearing utensils that we later found in the trash lol) and when visiting with other families (a friend would get hugs when they were upset). We are very grateful for the care and lessons our son has received and learned from the staff of Sunshine Montessori. We know they have his best interest at heart and desire to see him succeed, just as we do, based off of the individual care they have poured in to him and his learning. Thank you Sunshine Montessori, we are so impressed with the things our son tells us he learns from you!

My child has been going to the daycare for 4 years and I love it!

Avoid this place at all costs. The director is irrational and gets defensive when you address situations that pertain to her family. (Directors daughter is the assistant director, and her grandchildren both attend this school as well) the directors granddaughters behavior is simply out of control. She bit 7 students in a month, according to the biting policy she should have been expelled for one day, but she did not expel her. When I addressed the situation with the owner Gina, she was unaware of what the biting policy even was. Instead of moving the child with behavioral issues out of the classroom, the staff moved my child along with the 4 other children that were bit to another classroom. Management then changed the biting policy to accommodate the granddaughters needs. When I addressed the change in biting policy with Gina she informed me that they didnt change the policy. We originally had a very generally biting policy in place. So we took out the old policy completely and inserted a new one. The owner herself (gina) and the director Alice both stated they could not expel the granddaughter as she was having issues at home and having a hard time adjusting due to her parents going through divorce and the grand father having a heart attack. The grandson has gone to school on multiple occasion with lice and instead of removing him they very recently allowed him to Stay in the classroom and informed staff not to let anyone know. Management did not post there was a lice outbreak as they should! The granddaughter has bitten staff members as well, but staff will not come forward due to fear of being fired out of retaliation. Management Falsifys food meal program forms, coaches staff on what to say when licensing comes, destroys incident reports, changes incident reports to fit their needs AFTER the parent signs. The owner refused services to us after licensing showed up and she put two and two together. We are the second family to be kicked out of this facility WITHIN A WEEK TIME FRAME for calling licensing on this facility. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. FYI, there is a law that states a facility cannot refuse services out of retaliation for licensing being called, but this place will find a way around it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! Gina is not around enough to see that her precious director (Alice) and the directors daughter(Diana) are going to run this place to the ground. I PROMISE YOULL BE DOING YOURSELF/Your children (more importantly) a favor! THIS IS NOT AN ACCREDITED MONTESSORI FACILITY! Extremely high employee turn over rate due to unfair management! Alice/Diana are extremely unprofessional when addressing staff, its no secret why they cannot keep staff on board.

I dont ever want to move area so my children can always come here
