Excellent martial arts in San Antonio, TX. My son started at Kuk Sool Won of Alamo Heights in 2009. His instructor was an amazing teacher and made the kids feel comfortable while still instilling discipline & encouraging the kids to give their best. My son developed by leaps & bounds becoming more comfortable in his body, more flexible, coordinated, aware, and accomplished. We were sad to leave the state & therefore the community that the instructor had established through this karate program. I HIGHLY recommend this program for kids who are interested in learning martial arts. If you are looking for a martial arts school then definitely check this one out! He will allow you to try out a few classes to make sure its a right fit for you or your child.

Excellent martial arts school in San Antonio, TX. My son has loved taking lessons here at Kuk Sool Won of Alamo Heights. He is 8 and started back in February. I am very impressed with the speed at which he is learning and how much he knows in 4 short months. He will be receiving his orange belt next month. The instructors are very attentive to each student. There is at least 1 assistant/student right there with them helping them to improve their grappling/technique. I am overall very pleased with what my son comes away with each time he goes. He has more confidence, more respect and responsibility and a greater sense of pride since attending here at Kuk Sool Won of Alamo Heights.

You are never too old to change your life for the better! I was more than skeptical at first, but it turns out that once again - my wife was right! I did learn and am still learning a lot, as these guys really know what they are doing. I highly recommend the Academy to everyone who is yet to give martial arts a try!

My 2 boys (ages 6 and 9) just started at Kuk Sool Won of Alamo Heights a little over a month ago and we have been super impressed by the staff and instructors! The kiddos have received the absolute best in encouragement and learning about respect and discipline. The staff and instructors are enthusiastic, engaging and have such great interaction with the kids. Its so much fun to watch and my boys LOVE it! Outstanding karate school in San Antonio, TX. My kids have been going here for over 3 months and they love it. Its a fantastic environment for kids to learn karate and to lean about being a TEAM. The instructors really work with all the kids at all the ages. My daughter also doses the karate and cant get enough. And people taking the classes are friendly with one another and motivate each other. The studio is pretty neat and I give Kuk Sool Won Of Alamo Heightss a +1 for cleanliness.
