Horrible school. I wish I never pulled my son from public school and put him in this one. They give you false hope and make you fell that they care about your child future. They dont, its a bunch of bull!!! I am pulling my son before this year is even over. They dont listen to what the parent or student has to say. Things were stolen from my sons back pack, when I asked about them they made it seem like it was my sons fault.BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE!!! Please read the reviews and really think about it before you sign them up!!!

My son has done an amazing job at this school. It was the motivation and attention he needed. The school was able to give him the structure he needed. He is very advanced with reading and they dont hold him back to stay with the rest of his homeroom. Each child is able to work at their own pace. Fast, slow, normal. But they have been good at instilling giving 100% in every you do. This school and staff are new and sometimes I feel like I am out of the loop but all I have to do is call the principal and he gets back to me quickly and points me in the right direction to get my answer or finds the answer himself. Again for now this has been a good thing for my son and our family.

My son is doing amazing, he has learned structure and is a B honor roll which he has never been in regular public school. The school has a lot to offer and their main focus is not the STARS Test, their main goal is to have them at a higher level. Love this school and their goals.

Couldnt find my daughter on the very first day of school they didnt even show remorse as a scared out of my mind mother I was ready to pull them out of the school they made it seem like her life wasnt important telling me basically come on its the first day of school things happen not when it comes to someones child! I waited in line for pick over she never came out I got out of line and went to the office come to find out long story short she thank God was in the lunch room next incident my childrens school supplies were taken after I asked for them to use their own supplies given the fact that I dont have income to support a whole classroom I can chip in here and there but not for a whole class so when I asked for them back they couldnt find hem my kindergarten son kept having things come up missing his belt water bottle supplies etc and no one could ever tell me what happened this list goes on and on next issue they dont allow you to walk your own children to class or make sure they get in okay Im a very actively involved parent I like to be sure the staff know my face my phone number email and any source of contact so if needed I can be reached immediately for my children I personally felt at this school they stripped our parents rights away once the kids stepped foot in the school the last chance I gave them I went to pick my kids up from school early for a appointment here I am thinking Im doing the right thing picking them up at the end of the day so theyre not missing too much school and it was 3pm when I picked them up and the front desk woman told me for future reference no more picks ups after 2:30 as if they sent home a note or something stating that rule she tells me as Im there picking them up please keep in mind they get out of school at 4:15 pm it wasnt a good experience for me and my children so we left the school that day I picked them up and never went back they stress the issue about communication that was a lie parent involvement that too I found to be a lie enforce education and home work get them caught up etc that too I did not see they were there for a month and there was no home work sent home I hope this school can be a blessing for someone else but it just wasnt for my family

My eldest has been emotionally and physically demeaned by a teacher. Who grabbed HIS arm and called him a Princess. My youngest (6 years old) has been bullied by a student who has punched him in the stomach on one occasion and hit him in the head on another. Often the school doesnt answer my incoming calls and goes straight to voicemail. What happens if there is an emergency call coming in? It also takes a long time for them to return your messages. You have to make an appointment to have lunch with your kids and only on certain days is it allowed. My kids have been coming home and using the word Axe instead of Ask. There curriculum is the only thing redeeming of the place. Enter your child at your own risk.

Thank you Judson area for giving parents who care about our kids future a place other than kitty hawk middle school amazing school hands down,pay your teachers more so they can feel more appreciated.They work hard.

Wow, sounds to me like some overly hostile parents have written in so far.I cannot give enough praise to the teachers and staff at Idea Judson! Im more than happy with our decision to start 1st grade here.I do not write reviews often but in this case, seeing 3 negatives when looking the address up to send a friend, I have to comment.The teachers and staff are very communicative. My child has become a math wiz, and has caught up on a year of reading, she was behind in due to her experience before.Kids are kids as well, and children need to know how to stick up for themselves, and stop being the victim, but sounds like its handed down...The nature of the campus is completely different from any public school! Thank goodness. The entire staff knows of me and my daughter by name. The campus is locked during school hours, and they try hard not to have pick ups after 2:30pm or absences in general. The staff themselves made a pact to be there for the kids... I have not had a single substitute teacher all year.The best part, is my daughter has more than four regular teachers, not one, then we have the additional staff, principals, pe, nurse, admin.This school is the best, it is the first year open!!It will only get better from here.

My children have been going to this school since it opened and I love it.

I can not explain the level of happiness that i have felt in just the 4 weeks time that my son has attending the summer school program at Idea Judson. My son will be starting kinder this year, his very first year of school. He was invited to take summer courses at the school to prep him for the year and BOY, what can i say he is a new child. My child has learned so much from attending this school and it has made him such a pleasant young man. I recommend sending your children here. Mrs, Colwell and Mrs. Bethencourt have been nothing but amazing during this process. Thank you Idea Judson and your wonderful staff for taking such good care of my child, I strongly look forward to my sons continued success at the school. Great Leadership!!!!

I love this school my son went to public school for pre-k and he didnt learn anything.. now he I on top of his class he can read and is doing very well in math... sucks they will not have Pre-k next year, so guess Ill keep my daughter home.... to all the staff at idea Judson youll are doing an awesome job krep up the good work!!!

This school must cater to the Parent / Students who are in the Judson ISD. If you live in the NEISD area and take your kid here... you should be isolated from society for your safety and your child wellbeing. NEISD schools are way better and yes, you can do a school choice and send your kid to a good school. Unfortunately I didnt do my research and I bought a house in the JISD district and I had to pull my kids out of good NEISD schools. I had to sell my house, hardly made a profit, but I am back in the NEISD area, and I am glad I did. Next year I will apply for school choice for my 13 year old and try to get her into Regan or Johnson. NEISD district parents...dont be foolish and switch your kid to IDEA schools, they are all sizzle, no steak. No offense, but these schools need to get out of SA and stay in the Valley where they belong, or go way east for JISD area where they are the two slimy slugs at the bottom of the spit bucket.

My daughter was in this school.. The mrs patton was having nervous breakdowns.. Crying in class.. Keep your home life at home.. She is also is on her personal phone .. Has it out during class .. Putting it on kids desk reading it... This school was a bad idea

If I could give NO starts I would!!! I just attended the IDEA WELCOME EVENT (3/4/17)..I have been thinking about the possibility of my 4 year old going to this campus. So I attended the event, and at first everything seemed very well organized. My child received a bracelet with a number on it and I received a sticker with the same number.Just like children restaurants do so they know the child belongs to you. I went through the whole morning thinking wow this is going to be great.. No!! When it came time to pick up my child.She was no where to be found. Thankfully one of the administrators helped me look for her. Ha! Wrong again, when this so called administrator had no answer she just left me there standing and attended to other parents. I start looking for my own daughter in a building that was not familiar to me, as Im walking I see my daughter inside a classroom. I rush in and grab her hand and walk out!!! Did they check my sticker or her bracelet? NOOOOO!!!!! They didnt ask me anything!! I could of been a fu*** psycho.And taken a child that was not mine. Education is important., but my daughters SAFETY is first!! She will not be attending this piece of sh** campus.

IDEA Judson is an AMAZING campus. I have 2 sons and 2 nephews who attend here. They are ALWAYS very responsive to us as parents, and they dont tell us i dont know, they investigate and find solutions that will work for us. Transferring my child from JISD to IDEA Judson Academy and College Prep was the very best decision that we could have ever made. My 6th grader went from im not going to college to Im going to attend HARVARD when I graduate. My 2nd grader, who has been with IDEA since Kindergarten has decided he wants to attend Vanderbilt. If you want your children to be ready for college and a guarantee that if you follow the program and support your child, your child WILL go through College Prep and be accepted to an University of their choosing when they graduate. They really do stand by and support College for All. IDEA Judson Academy and College Prep has amazing staff, administration, and students.

My kids use to love school, once they started Idea they kept begging us all year to get them out and take them back to the elementary school they went last year. We kept telling them to hold on, to give it a shot, to try their best, to Listen to their teachers etc.Our kids are word masters math masters and have completed their 1st grade moved to 2nd grade ( supposedly), but THIS SCHOOL IS TERRIBLE ! The way your kids are treated is terrible and unfair .. VERY UNFAIR . They will leave Your kids behind from recess and make them feel responsible for other kids in their group that are not doing good . my doughter had to redo work 2 times that she did excellent first time only because the other kids on her group wouldnt understand the assignment, they were held from going to recess because of other kids in their group, even thou my kids dont misbehave and do what they suppose to . My kids have been left out of recess to complete some log in hours in computer for a math class and threaten them to lose their field day. Which by the way, if you dont have an Apple tablet or a Desktop you are screwed, because the work they have to do is online and only works with APPLE tablet . If you dont have APPLE tablet Im sorry for you, your kid wont be going to recess because your kid wont have enough hours log in ... and will pay the consecuences (as the teachers say) .MY KIDS HAVE CRYED because they make them feel like they did something wrong, they cry in silence for not going out to recess when they have been great students and not misbehaveWHATS THE POINT in taking them to a school like this if they will end up HATING SCHOOL ?

Worst staff known of all the schools I have visited . Very bad experience my kids are out cuz of them also my son has expressed several bullying insident and teachers do nothing all they care for is money .
