I absolutely loved my experience with Method Makeup Academy. I was the first Zoom student. They worked around my schedule, and provided first hand information imperative to a working makeup artist. I really appreciated the course structure, and NO, this isnt just information you can get from someone on Youtube. This is training from someone who is actively making a living as an artist.

I appreciated the detail and focus on learning each client in regards to their wants, face shape, skin type, etc. not one size fits all when it comes to makeup and this is the first class I have taken that recognizes that.

I was really excited to find a makeup school that offered classes at night and at a pace I could handle while working and other things. You gain a lot of knowledge and skills that will help launch you into your career as a makeup artist. I enjoyed the classes so much and loved how small they were because you become close with everyone. I love the teaching styles and the fun laid back atmosphere. They make learning makeup and hair a lot of fun. I gained so much knowledge and have already started implementing what I learned. Even if you know nothing about makeup or hair, you will be able to pick up skills here and understand the fundamentals. I would recommend this school to everyone!

I loved taking this class because it was a hands on experience which is how I learn best. I also met some amazing people. I attended this course taught by Arrvada in Reno, NV and was very impressed. She is a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. You can tell she takes pride in her work and development of this course. She went above and beyond for her students and on the final day she even stayed after hours to give us more info. We were provided with a very detailed and informative binder that included many helpful resources. We also received a well put together kit that included everything you need to get started. I enjoyed taking this class, it was a wonderful experience and I learned so much. Highly recommended!

Method Makeup is very professional; from the educational binders and class instruction, to our very own make-up kits. Not to mention our teacher, Arravada. Shes has so much experience with makeup and the makeup industry and she is amazingly generous with sharing her knowledge and industry secrets with her students - I think this is what impresses me most. I liked the small class setting. Made it easier to learn and ask questions. The instructor is great and makes class fun.

The only reason I’m giving a review is because I keep getting emails to give my experience! I really liked Arvadda personality but I hated the school. The truth is you can learn more from YouTube than in this class. So it really is a waste of money. I took the class thinking I would get some one in one help with the things I’m not good with but the whole time you are doing makeup with your classmates Arvadda is sitting down doing other things. At times it seemed like she was annoyed when I asked questions. The other thing I did not like is that this class took months not weeks because of all the missed days. I would suggest asking to sit in a class or take a look at the book that’s given. It’s just photocopies and not put together well but it’ll give you a idea of what you’re getting yourself into! Sorry I tried to keep my thoughts to myself!

Arrvada is fun, passionate, and a great makeup artist and instructor! I highly recommend her if you just want to learn how to apply makeup or are looking to start a new career!

This class was amazing!!! At first I was kinda scared she was going to give makeup and makeup brushes to us and say start. But she didn’t do that at all. She taught us everything we need to know. She took her time and explained everything. If a student didn’t understand something she would take her time to explain it. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.

Method Makeup is the best school in town. I learned so much about makeup and proper application. The instructor is professional and knowledgeable. I was thrilled to find her classes convenient for me. I work full time and she offers a variety of class times to meet the needs of her students.

I learned a lot in a short amount of time. My instructor was very knowledgeable and flowed through the class well. I felt very comfortable as a beginner taking a class here. I recommend this place often to people wanting to learn more about makeup artistry.

Such a fun class! I took the make up clas and Arrvada is so patient with her students. If you go in with an I know everything there is to know about make up attitude you wont learn much. I have been doing make up for about 4 years self taught. I learned a lot of little tips and tricks with things like color matching, proper ways to color correct,gained more knowledge about sanitation and contour. I think this is a really good class if you are starting out as a make up artist and want to gain more confidence in your work. I definitely would recommend this class.

I learned a lot from my instructor Ali💕 She did my initial meet & greet. Signing up for the class and going over any questions. Very professional and great personality!! I learned about proper sanitation, proper placement of makeup. Very patient and hands on.. For those asking I attended in spring 2017.Absolute worst “makeup school” I have ever been too. A complete waste of money. Extremely unprofessional. Be ware because they teach wrong and unsafe methods!! Everything “taught” here is better learned from YouTube....and this comes from a Makeup Designory Graduate from Los Angeles. I originally went to this “school” before moving to LA a year later and attending Makeup Designory. If your looking to get hands on education and training in the professional makeup world then invest your money and time and move to Burbank to go to Makeup Designory School! It’s a 5 month program and I got financial aid and worked part time as lived in the school dorms.

By far the best school! I tried cosmetology school TWICE and quite twice. It just wasn’t for me. I always just wanted the makeup schooling. Arrvada made it so easy and fun! I couldn’t wait to go to school every Sunday! Not to mention as a mom of 4, being able to go on a Sunday was amazing and fit so well. No running around during the week balancing everything. Such a relief! I learned so, so much. From theory, to sanitation to the business aspects. It was worth every penny and I am now very confident in what I can accomplish and my skills. Plus I made great new friends! There is no other choice, go to the one who has years of experience. Choose Method Makeup, choose Arrvada.

I am a current student at method makeup institute. I have found this experience to be helpful, positive and exciting. Our instructor, Arrvada brings much to the table. Our classes are limited to small groups. This gives us the opportunity to get one on one instruction. Classes are broken down into increments I am enjoying myself and looking forward to utalizing what I’ve learned here!

I attended a makeup certification class in Seattle when they were known as VIP CAT Academy, and the instructor is awesome! Great training and fun!

My wife set up the most amazing anniversary present and scheduled us to have theater makeup done, then we went out and shot photos in Roseville. Both Arvada and Lily were fun to work with! I highly recommend taking classes or setting up a photo shoot!
