We had our son in Renton II KinderCare from the age of 1 through the start of Kindergarten. The staff is caring and nurturing and the curriculum really helped prepare my son for school. This is a great daycare center to consider - your child will be prioritized and taught, not just watched.

This center and its staff have been a part of my family for a little over 4 years. I came here desperate with an infant and toddler. I had to abruptly remove my children from another center and was overwhelmed with the thought of a 2 year old transitioning in a new environment. Ms. Patrician and Ms. Elizabeth were so warm and welcoming. I felt at ease from the first meeting.Fast forward my kids are still there happy and thriving. The teachers here know my children and their little personalities Ms. Patricia works hard to make sure she hires teachers who are committed to working with children and preparing them for real life scenarios. We work as a team to ensure whatever comes up or challenges they are having that we are on the same page. With this pandemic this center remained open to help essential workers continue to work! They have been accommodating and understanding while putting themselves at risk. I am and will forever be grateful to this center and all of the staff.

We moved here from Arizona in 2019. I was very hesitant on bringing my son here as we are both are very attached to one another. I will be honest it was very hard not only from him but myself, we struggled. I knew that he needed to be around other kiddos his age since we basically did not know anyone in WA. Let me tell you everyone at this KinderCare location has been amazing. Since having a tough start they never once gave up on him and he now drop offs are amazing for the both of us and he enjoys going everything single day. The most important thing I would have to say is ALL staff cares about all the kiddos that come here, I can see it everyday. Especially, with the pandemic my son has not been sick once since March so I think they are doing a fantastic job, but they always have amazing communication with us now more then ever. :)Best decision my family has made for my son !

We moved to WA 2 years ago we were part of KinderCare in our previous state and since being here I have NEVER had an issue. My kids are always clean and changed if have an accident or their clothes get messy. All teachers are very transparent. We continued with care through the pandemic and the center immediately put covid protocols into a effect and my child (knock on wood) has yet to get sick. I appreciate each and every employee caring for my child during these uncertain times

We absolutely love this center! Ms. Patricia and her excellent team are the only individuals outside the family we trust to take care of our kiddo. The center is clean, organized, and professional. They have such a wide variety of activities for the kids: social skills learning, outdoor play, STEM, phonics, cooking, and more. Our son has ASD and as a result finding an environment he is comfortable in is often challenging, but he knows and loves everyone at the center and is always coming home with exciting stories. We have never found such a perfect fit for him at any other daycare! The community here is like family. Thanks, Renton II KinderCare! :-)

I did an exhaustive search when looking for a daycare. Must-haves were: safety, cleanliness, structure, oversight, programming, a licensed facility, required annual training, a safe ratio of teachers to children, curriculum, experienced teachers, socialization with kids my child’s age, fun toys, fun activities, diversity, and something affordable. I remember the day I went to tour. The Director, Ms. Patricia, was the first and only person in all of my searches who cared about my needs and meeting them. I used to work in sales & marketing – connecting with your client is crucial, listening to their wants and needs is crucial, and then explaining how you can meet those needs is how you seal the deal. Ms. Patricia did that for me. Everything she did was so simple yet no one else had taken the time or care to provide this level of service. When I arrived, she welcomed me by name, we toured the infant room and immediately I knew this was the place for my baby. Ms. Patricia was so knowledgeable, she knew everything about the teachers, their experience, what a typical day is like, feeding and storing milk. She knew all the baby’s names and what milestones they were currently working on. I was so impressed. I could tell that Ms. Patricia was completely engaged in her center and held it to a high standard. The tour exceeded my standards and expectations. I was pleased to see the level of diversity this center has, and that the center embraces celebrating everyone’s cultures. Ms. Patricia is the caliber of woman you’d want leading your children. She is serious about running a successful center. I connected with her right away and my love and appreciation for her has only grown since. KinderCare has done an excellent job managing during COVID times. The center is clean and they’re taking all the necessary precautions to protect everyone. KinderCare has an app that is updated throughout the day with pictures, videos, activities, what my daughter eats, bathroom logs and nap logs. A huge benefit through KinderCare has been the phonics program. My kid was behind on communicating. Ms. Patricia recommended the phonics class, taught by Ms. Anna who is already one of my kid’s teachers. My daughter is taken into a separate room outside of the class for more one-on-one teaching, to practice identifying emotions, reading, speaking, and how to communicate feelings. The teachers keep me in the loop so I know what they’re teaching my daughter so I can reinforce it at home. It’s been about 3 or 4 months since we started the phonics and in such a short time my kid has really ramped up her talking and confidence. She’s saying things we didn’t know she knew how to say. It’s like a light switch got turned on. She’s finally speaking in full sentences and she knows so many words and how to express her emotions. She can finally communicate! KinderCare has been everything we wanted and needed. The staff is consistent and they’re so great with the kids. KinderCare has fun toys and structured activities. They are so creative, they’re always doing different things to keep it interesting. Recently, my child became very ill and was hospitalized. She missed a month of daycare while she was treated and recovering. KinderCare was so considerate and thoughtful. They continually reached out to check on us and how we were doing. The teachers made a huge banner and all the kids stood around it and took a picture to send to our daughter. It was such a moving show of supportive. When she finally returned to school they were extra careful to make sure she had what she needed and kept me updated the first few days as she adjusted. I never realized how much we would become a part of this community and now we feel like family. We’ve had the best experience we could ask for. Ms. Patricia runs a tight ship and she is much of why I chose this location, she keeps this place in tip-top shape. The staff is amazing, they’re engaged, and they’re simply great at their jobs. Thank you Discovery Preschool teachers! My child is thriving. I highly recommend KinderCare at Benson Hill!

I love this center no matter where I have lived I never took them out of this center. My son is starting kindergarten soon and I’ll have to move him to a different care center that has before and after school care close to his school, but I am keeping my daughter at this center. The new updates has made the center look nicer and the center director they have now is perfect!

Great center. We send our children here and are very happy with the decision to switch to this daycare center. The director and teachers are awesome and you can tell they CARE. What more can a parent ask for? The facility is clean and spacious and our kids come home with all sorts of stories of what they did and learnt that day. Also, we were pleasantly surprised with Kindercares app. The teachers provide updates a few times a day, with multiple photos and videos DAILY. It is truly amazing that we now know and can see throughout the day what our kids are up to.Also, last Christmas the center went above and beyond and hosted a Winter Gala festival. Weeks leading up to the event our kids were coming home singing the songs they learnt. Our 2 yr old was singing Raindrops on roses and knew about half the song! It was truly amazing. The event itself was a blast and we really have to praise the staff there for all the effort they put in.- from a very happy parent.

Really sad that they stopped doing a before and after school care program. They were the only daycare that transported to both Benson Hill and Talbot Hill. It used to be so convenient. Staff was nice while we were there...

Kindercare is OK to consider only if you have no alternatives. Its good for school agers which they shut the operation. My todler used to be bitten by other kids quite often, they do not bother to care just they pretend they are caring. My toddler had constipation quite often. I do not recommend this center for toddlers unless you have no other alternatives.
