Kiddie has been great !! The teachers are really loving and have a great curriculum to work with. Any feedback has always been taken positively and addressed quickly. Even with the pandemic situation they have tried their best to work with ever changing rules. Kids have a lot of fun and are well taken care of. If you are interested they have a camera for parents in addition to their daily reports on kids activities.

We love Kiddie Academy! Teachers, curriculum, school time, they have had our backs since Covid-19 spread started until this day. Husband and I can work knowing that our son is healthy, in a learning, and safe environment that he truly enjoys. We really recommend it!

I have 3 kids here and they LOVE IT!!! The teachers keep them engaged as well as always keeping new fun hands on activities for them. They have an app that lets you check bbn on the kids at you own convenience as well as putting up every activity they do. I would definitely give this place an additional star if I could. My son has become more socially and comfortable with what is asked of him without throwing a fit. Thank you for all the help staff!! They are ready for the Summer program.

My son attended Kiddie Academy for over two years, and was in three classes. We had a great time when he was in the first two classes. The teachers were wonderful! I really appreciated. However, we were not getting along very well with the teachers in his third class. My son sometimes liked to chew stuff when he felt nervous. We worked with the teachers in his first 2 classes and successfully got this in control. When he left his second class, he rarely chewed. We were so pleased to see his progress! However, all of our efforts were in vain since he entered the third class. The teachers of the third class encouraged him to chew anything he could get as long as he didnt make trouble. My son once caught cold and had dry cough for a few days. We prepared a water bottle for him, and asked him to drink some water when he was about to cough. The teacher might think his dry cough sounded terrible; she emptied the water bottle, and let my son chew the straw, so that he could calm down. This is just one story. In short, the teachers of the third class dont care if it is good for kids growth, as long as the kids dont make any trouble. Therefore, we reached out to the leadership team, and had a long conversation with them. The leadership team listened, and promised to transfer my son to another class which he may fit in well. Meanwhile, they tried their best to make the transition as smooth as possible. I appreciated their efforts!

My son started here when he was 3 months old. It was a rough transition for both of us, but the amazing caretakers worked with both of us, and now my son is thriving there! He was out sick for a week, and when we brought him back, the caretakers started cheering that he was back as soon as they saw him through the window. My 5-month old son was smiling and obviously really happy to be back, and the other babies are always full of smiles. It makes me feel so reassured that they have a good bond and are looking out for him!

My daughter has been attending the preschool for a few months now and she absolutely loves this school. She looks forward to school every Sunday night and tells us stories about her classmates and teachers. We can absolutely see her growth since her going to the school. Five star.

Late review, but the experience stuck with me now that Im again looking for child care in the area so wanted to throw this up here. We also had a horrible experience with the director earlier this year. Heres the (sorry its long) story:We called, scheduled an appointment and arrived on time. It was cold and wet and we had our daughter with us, so a nice parent let us into the first door so we would be in view of the office staff. And we were. The director was sitting not 15 feet away from us, facing us, looked at us a few times, but left us standing there for well over 20 minutes. One of the teachers, bless her, finally let us in then went to get the director for us. The teacher left, apologized for our wait. Then another 10ish minute wait later the director, who scheduled our tour finally came out to see us. She was all smiles, 30 minutes late.Tour complete, we sat down to talk price. Before she would say any numbers she asked what we were currently playing at our, very nice, Redmond daycare which we explained we wanted to move from because it was getting hard to keep up with. We dont make Redmond money, we make Renton money. Considering the cost of living is about a 35% increase for Redmond, we felt that an institution opening here would account for that at least a little.Dead wrong. Once she heard our current numbers (I was foolishly honest and gave them to her) she calculated in her head way too long before writing down a insultingly high price with a $50 per month decrease, a 3% savings, of what we were already paying. All the while making noises like she was giving us such a big break. We walked out and didnt come back. And now Im on the hunt again but will be skipping this stop! Hoping this round of searching yield better results.

Tuition is high considering they do not include extracurricular activities, most teachers do not have advanced degrees, and the amount of days they are closed. The center is strict about not keeping kids there longer than 10 hours a day which is difficulty when youre a full time working parent. We like our kids teachers and think they are genuine but the center overall has some growing to do.

I cant say enough about Kiddie Academy. I absolutely love the structure and curriculum, my two girls have learned more in 6 months at Kiddie Academy than they did 2 and 4 years at KinderCare. There was an incident with a staff member, and once it was reported, the Director took swift and immediate action, and as a parent that gives me self ease and confidence that my childrens welfare and best care are a number one priority of the Renton Kiddie Academy Staff. We love Mr. Howard, Ms. Denise, Ms. Bonnie, Ms. Christina, Ms. Kelsey, Ms. Abbey and Ms. LaShawna. The K.A location is lucky to have such talented and caring staff, and we are lucky to have them in our life!

Its a brand new school with separate classrooms, no open concept, on site cook makes all the food from scratch, Pre-K has a computer in each room, video surveillance to check in from home or my phone. The extra $400 a month is the same I would pay for phonics at KinderCare, which they include in the tuition as well as a music program!

The staff there is extremely discriminatory of children. They lack communication among themselves, where they would accept a child and take a check for payment, then the rude director overrules and reject the child. based on, what seemed to be, her prejudice against where the childs parents were from! very disappointing to suffer such discrimination in America of 2017.
