Souzana is an excellent and knowledgeable teacher: she can teach traditional Middle Eastern Folk dances to more contemporary American belly dance styles. With a variety of classes to choose from, you can find one at your level easily: from beginner to advanced. If you want performance opportunities, she offers a troupe class as well. Her choreographies are fun and challenging for the dancers and spectacular and fun for the audience.Souzana is a fun teacher and I really enjoy her personality and style. I have been studying middle eastern dance for over 10 years and from Souzana for 3 years now. I enjoy taking class and instruction from her very much! Over these last 3 years I have leaned an incredible amount of dance, technique, and disciple in my practice. My zilling has never before been what it is today! Im now able to confidently move while zilling, learning new techniques, new drills, different middle eastern rhythms, choreography. I feel that the way Souzana instructs her classes is not only fun but includes historical background of middle eastern dance and culture among so much else. I have had the pleasure to collaborate with Souzana in the creation and performance of several choreographies. She is clever, charming, and professional through and through. Souzana understands how dancers bodies work and how all levels of dancers learn; she has training in everything from ballet and jazz to Khaleeji from the Persian Gulf, to Saiidi from Upper Egypt, to Raqs Sharqi, to American Cabaret Belly Dance and more.
