My son loved this school! This was his first preschool experience and there was absolutely no tough transition. His teacher, Miss Haley, was so sweet and kind. The owner is a mother to two young children and understands what makes a good preschool. I felt very safe dropping my son off there every day, they have great procedures in place.

Pros include communication, healthy menu and full day of activities. My son comes home exhausted but in the best way. His teacher sends us lots of updates, photos and videos throughout each day showing just how much fun he has there.

Both of our children attend Windhaven Academy and highly recommend it!Our son tells us EVERY day when we pick him up how much fun he has and how much he loves his new school. The administration and teachers at Windhaven go above and beyond and take such great care of our kids.This was our daughters first school to go to (1 year old) and I was nervous about her not being with us and my goodness they do a better job than I do! We get constant updates on their app with pictures and what theyre doing through out the day and I just couldnt recommend Windhaven Academy more!

My baby girl has been attending Windhaven for a month now, and she is so happy! She wakes up every day, excited and ready to learn! She loves her classmates and teacher. The way my baby is loved and cared for speaks volumes of the staff of Windhaven! I appreciate and look forward to the regular photos and updates they send of my sweet girl, daily! This is the best childcare we’ve received since moving to Texas.

Love my baby’s school! My daughter has been attending now for about a year. It was her first school experience so of course we were a bit nervous. Contrary to our hesitations, my child absolutely loves her school. She is greeted with warmth every single morning. Her teachers are super kind and most certainly teach her well. She has learned a number of impressive things that I most certainly did not teach her. Best of all, they have a gardening class, soccer class and an outdoor splash pad that the kids get to enjoy every Friday known as Splash Pad Friday. All that to say, we love Windhaven academy and would recommend to any parent!

My daughter was in the best hands of care while attending. I could not express how important it is for me to have open and direct communication with the staff. There was never a time I ever had to wait on details regarding my child. They remained reliable to us throughout the entire time we attended Windhaven. I love this school and the Teachers. We are Family and that’s what made it so comfortable leaving my child in their care

I recently moved my toddler from another daycare to Windhaven and the progress Ive seen in my son in the one month hes been at Windhaven is admirable. He is more interactive, less agitated, and more willing to learn new things. I truly believe its the combination of patience, lots of love and cuddles the teachers and staff shower on the children, and them being able to identify what makes each child tick and uses that to help them learn. The value for what we get is above and beyond- organic food, indoor gym for rainy days, library, splash pad for summer days, multiple playgrounds, tricycles to ride around, tons of pics and being able to text their teachers all day long via the app, plus the curriculum they use is top notch for a very reasonable tuition.I have so many good things to say about Windhaven. The owner takes the time to chat with you about your child every day, which is such a wonderful, personal touch.

I cant say enough positive things about this place. My son is both happy and excited to attend each day. The teachers and staff are wonderful. Ive never had a bad experience and would highly recommend sending your child here.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first week! Our daughter has a noticeable demeanor improvement and jovial presence now. The intuitive software updates are great and the organic food is doing wonders for her. The staff is genuinely concerned and connected. We are happy customers.

We have been at Windhaven for a little over a month now and can’t say enough great things about it! We were a little apprehensive to send our little one to daycare, however, from day one our baby boy has learned so much! His teacher is fantastic and always keeps us updated on his progress throughout the day with notes and pictures. You can tell they really care about our babies. We are very thankful we found this place and look forward to all of the new things our baby boy will learn at this school.

From drop off to pick up I feel extremely comfortable that my son is there and being cared for. Not to mention, within a week of him being there I noticed a difference in his education. My daughter went to Windhaven academy for a few weeks and instantly we noticed her growth. She learned so much within a short period of time! She absolutely loved going there. Everyone was so nice and professional. Also getting to see pictures throughout the day, knowing what type of schedule she was on, and also what she was eating definitely put mom and dad at ease. We love this daycare for our Daughter. We felt so welcomed from the first day we came to Register. The location, the space, the food, and the personal are amazing. I had my first baby in December 2019 and as you can imagine I dreaded the idea of my baby going to daycare but after my first visit I knew I found the best place for my son. The staff is amazing they communicate so well with me and keep me updated about how my son is progessing each day. They have always been so clean so when Covid happened they didnt miss a beat and made sure my babys health was top priority . Windhaven is the exact type of day care where I feel happy to drop off my son as if Im leaving him with family. He has progressed so well not to mention he loves it here. Love love love this place.

Our son has been attending Windhaven academy for little over a month now.I have invested a lot of my time in going through the reviews of almost all daycares in West Plano area, so I know how important it is to provide the right information and so this lengthy post.To start with, the primary reason for choosing Windhaven academy was that all the information provided by the Owner Assia during our initial enquiries were convincing and what we were looking for. Basically, we wanted a daycare with a smaller class size and is safe.We toured 4-5 daycares in this area and only Windhaven and Primrose did the virtual tour when kids were on the campus and all others invited us(the strangers) to visit their center. Assia also gave us time to explore the center after hours when kids were not in the campus. While business is important, we liked the way they handled the business priorities along with student safety. I do not want to send my child to a place where a lot of strangers hang around.Another thing I liked is the feedback that I get about my kid everyday through an app. Am happy to know about what food they offered and how much he ate and 1-2 pictures of him in the class. I really appreciate this as it is difficult to understand it from the kids when they are small.I also went through the blogs posted by Windhaven Academy, and liked their attitude towards child development.Now coming to the point of view from my son, he has been home with me ever since his birth, but I could see that he adjusted to the school easily. He is little hesitant in the morning but there is no loud screams. From his little chit chat I felt that the kids and teachers were very welcoming. My son has improved his communication and he uses long sentences while talking which his partly due to school and partly due to his overall growth. He has been a poor eater, but still tries to eat on his own and I acknowledge that they provide healthy meals and encourage hand washing before meals which I got to know from my son. I am not quite sure about the curriculum or the daily lesson plans but am sure I can get this information from the teacher/owner as they have always promptly responded to all my queries.Each parent will have different priorities for choosing a daycare, but in my experience so far there is no reason to not consider Windhaven.

This place is amazing. Our 1 year old daughter has been going here for about 3 months now and she loves it. They constantly send pictures through their app which as a parent gives you a great piece of mind. We have noticed a lot of growth in her vocabulary and social skills since she has been attending the school. The staff is super friendly and do a great job of connecting with the kids. Not only to mention do a great job of keeping the place clean.

Best daycare EVER! My boys have been attending for almost two months now and they LOVE it!! My 4 year old has already learned to write his name, knows all of his vowel sounds and so much more! Everyday he’s so excited to tell me what he’s learned in Ms. Emilys class. My 2 year old is now just a little chatter box and loves to sing lol! Before he attended Windhaven he wasn’t speaking much at all. Also Ms. Matie is helping us potty train 🙌🏽 which I’m soo thankful for! My kids went to another daycare before Windhaven and it wasn’t bad but compared to Windhaven this school is just unmatched!!! Excellence from top to bottom! When I first inquired about this school I spoke to Assia on the phone and in person, I could immediately tell that she was so passionate about her school takes pride in it! That was a huge bonus for me!And on top of that it’s mommy owned!! If your looking for a place where your kids are Safe(security system is next level) Healthy(everything they eat is organic) Learning (curriculum is super educational) and Loved (from owner to teachers everyone there is so genuine and nice) WINDHAVEN is it!!! Hands down!! I feel so blessed to have found this place as a mom and for my kids education and development!

I am forever grateful that I found this wonderful daycare. When I pick up and drop off my sweetheart, I know she is in good hands. She is learning a lot and having so much fun. I am kept informed with thorough note taking through the app and so many pictures, I feel like I am right there with her! Windhaven Academy has the same values and goals for my daughter that I have for her which makes them an even better fit than I thought possible. I appreciate that strict guidelines are followed in regards to COVID so that I know my child, myself and my family are safe. My family absolutely LOVES Windhaven academy! Leaving your child with anyone at all is scary, but as a mom I feel so good dropping my 20 month old off because I can tell he is so happy and loves being there! Assia, the owner, is so genuine, thorough, and really cares about the quality of care her team provides! She is passionate about what our kids eat and I love that! They don’t serve juices, sugary snacks, or snacks with artificial preservatives and colors. This was so important to me and we really appreciate that! My baby LOVES his teacher Miss India, and he has learned so much since he started there. In the last two weeks he went from saying 3-5 words to saying around 15-20 bc he loves to repeat her. We have tried other daycare/pee school environments and basically were never leaving this one.

I can not say enough good things about Windhaven. This is an extremely clean and well structured learning center for kids. The owner Ms. Assia is very responsible and nice. She gives each child personal attention. The director Ms. Tamara makes a really welcoming atmosphere for kids and parents. They have a structured schedule and activities planned for each day. The teachers put there time and souls on the line for other families. Their food menu is healthy and organic. Thank you Ms Assia for the App! We are so in love with this school! Our 14 month old son started a few weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier! His teacher Ms Nafis is the sweetest, most kind woman. She goes above and beyond to love and care for our son and for her other students. The school has an app so we get pictures and updates all day long which is way different from the last school my son went to where we didn’t hear anything at all throughout the day. My husband and I light up when we get app notifications... as working parents it makes us feel like we’re playing a part in his day. The school recently underwent a huge renovation. It’s so clean and modern now. With a library, computer lab, and huge gym, it’s an invigorating environment for students. The administrator told us she’s completely revamped the nutrition program too so the kids are only receiving healthy food and snacks throughout the day with minimal to no added sugar. This is so much more than a daycare to us. In just a few weeks we feel like everyone there is family. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We have had my son at Windhaven Academy for just over a month. Making the decision to put our 1 year old on Daycare in the middle of a Global Pandemic was not an easy one to make. However, we could not be more impressed with the entire staff. They are taking the necessary precautions to keep the kids safe, but thats not even the best part. My son is thriving like never before. Seems like he learns something new every day. The app they use to let you see your kids through out the day is priceless, makes you feel like you are still involved when you cant be with your kids. I am so excited to be a part of this daycare family.

My daughter’s face lights up when she sees her teacher Ms Brianna. She does an amazing job at watching after her and keeping us updated all day on the activities they are doing. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and so easy to communicate with.. Highly recommend 😃

We learned so much about all the improvements and things in store during our insightful tour of the facility. My kid absolutely loves his teachers. They have a great app that keeps me updated on my child throughout the day with frequent pictures! Prices are also extremely reasonable!

If you want a school where you feel welcomed and feel like its one big family this is it. My daughters teacher Ms Brianna is amazing, my daughter is always happy during drop off knowing fully well her teacher is going to take good care of her, I have personally stepped foot into every classrooms and have seen how amazing every teacher is.Management works hard to maintain structure and consistency in order to accommodate the needs of the parents and the staff while trying to keep the atmosphere enjoyable, overall am happy that my daughter goes to this school.

I loved Ms.Ebony so much and my son still talks about her now he thrived while in this school and the education here is amazing no other school can compare!. I am very upset that they got rid of the CA program and even how they went about that entire process of letting us know, they gave late notice on top of increased prices. The new management is pretty nice but they do lack communication I would have considered staying if the tuition didnt go up so much from what I paid before I started getting the CA. Best of luck to them i may consider going back one day in the future.

Windhaven Academy has been a big part in my family with my daughter Alyssa. They care alot about the kids and their families. With all that is happening they took time to take extra precautions when it came to the kids safety and to even check up on us to make sure we are doing OK. I appreciate all they do for my daughter and would highly recommend them to family and friends. They go above and beyond for their children.

I Love this daycare, My son goes here and is in the two year old classroom, his teacher Ms. Nini is the greatest, she is so patient with my son and treats him like her own, the center is very clean and updated the management is really caring and understanding,my child is learning so much at this school his speech has improved so much and he is counting and recognizing his colors also. He loves his teacher and loves to come here, I recommend this school, its the best hands down.

It was a fantastic experience over a year with Windhaven Academy as my daughters first school. She learned many things during this period. Ms. Jessica, Ms. Ingram and Ms. Ebony are outstanding, my daughter loves them and the school.

Absolutely love working here ! Having the oppertunity to work with the younger infant class has been such a delight! I love and care for all my babies as if they were my own (: The low child to teacher ratio is awesome it gives me the oppertunity to focus on each child individually based on their specific needs. Which helps me create high goals for them to reach as they learn and grow each day!The management here is so caring and understanding they actually care about your well being and understand that things happen outside of work. They also are willing to work with you as long as you communicate. The teachers here truly care about each and everyone of their kids and it shows ! You can feel it as you enter their room when you are greeted by Smiles, hugs and warm welcomes! If you want to be in a warm, fun, caring environment where your child or children are given nothing but the best this is where you need to be !

My son attended Windhaven Academy for about 9 months and I would say his journey has been absolutely fabulous. We shifted from another country and my son was not even adept with the language. He became fluent in like weeks and loved the teachers. It is not like a usual day care and I prefered the discipline it followed. That is one way you can teach your child to do the right thing. Grateful to the teachers and the Director . They helped my child immensely during the transition. Post the change in leadership, they have brought in several new initiatives and activities. I wish my son was old enough to experience all that. They would always give you a patient hearing, which is much appreciated.I would recommend Windhaven Academy to all. I would have continued however I had to shift elsewhere. I am hoping to come back to Windhaven Academy in future. Thank you! 😊

My daughter has attended this daycare for a month and she loves it here. Shes a strong-willed kido that needs a firm person who is willing to work with her. She has her good days and bad, and her teacher keeps her in check in a loving but firm way. This is a better environment than the previous daycare. Very happy here.

Just as your previous employers, Windhaven Academy gave you the opportunity to work for their company entrusting you to follow their guides and procedures and you did not comply within those guidelines. For future references, take some classes on how to properly post reviews and use the proper terms when speaking the English Language. Then you will sound more believable. Management you will have a problem with them anything they say make sure you get it in writing. They have the biggest staff turn over rate I have ever seen.I wouldnt recommend this school to anybody please avoid the headache of miscommunication or misunderstanding. Also they have a new app were you pay online make sure you get a detailed statement of what your paying because they will add things in there behind your back!!! UPDATEOwner discontinued the CCMS program. I want to see how it holds up now that all the original teachers that I gave compliments to are now GONE because of you good luck with your school!!

When Ive tagged along to pick up my niece from this facility there always seems to be some kind of dispute going on with parents and staff. The front desk staff clearly lacks professionalism. Is there not an office you can handle personal child matters in? Its not a good look for you to openly be debating with parents in front of other people. If you are not able to communicate with adults, surely kids cant learn anything from you! So think about the message your sending out to all the parents that have seen this happen.

Amazing place!! My daugher is not the easiest child with her own challenges, but this teacher at this school has found that challenging her mind gets her focused. She is excelling and doing wonderful. The new director is amazing and really kind to the children!! Way to focus on our children Windhaven!!!

Everyone is so loving and caring toward my daughter. Assia, Elleena and Miss Nafiseh are so genuine in taking care of my little girl. My daughter exults excitement whenever she sees them. They would always smile when I drop my daughter off, and send us off with another affectionate smile.

Our child recently started attending this amazing day school. After her being in a public preschool. This was a breathe of fresh air for our family. Windhaven Academy has professional staff, wonderful directors and an awesome curriculum. She has in the last month already grown tremendously. She will be attending their private kindergarten in the fall and is looking to excel well into the first grade level by the time she is complete. I would recommend this to anyone. The director is very hands on and knows what goes on in her building.

I have been at this school for 4 years. New ownership just took over and are absolutely horrific. Stay away from this place. Absolutely zero communication from them and theyre frauds. There are multiple parents having issues at this school. Take my advice and look else where.

First of all a big Thank you to Windhaven academy for taking care of my both the daughter’s. My interaction with the institute started with elder one 3 years back with Pre-K. She found the environment friendly, caring and kind of family-oriented. She learned a lot from there to help her improve as human being, disciplined and behavioral skills.Next, my younger one started 3 months back at an age of 6 months. Being a mom it’s tough to send such a little baby to daycare, but I trusted them based on previous experience. Everyone was amazing but I specifically want to call out Ms. Nafiseh and highly commend her. She is amazing teacher or you can call her second mom to my baby. She is experienced and knows what she needs at different stage of development.Keep up the good job you guys are doing. With a transformed look and new management, I am sure you will do well. Thanks.

I can’t believe the way that they treated my child here!!!!! DO NOT send your children here!!! They need to be shut down! I’m at a loss for words... You just don’t treat children that way!!! Please don’t send your children here!!!

My son was bitten on the face and they told me to keep calm and that things happen. I understand things like this happen amongst 3 year olds. But to blow it off as nothing and all you do is give an incident report to both parties parents is unacceptable. It need to be an understood disciplinarian actions put in place not for corporate to say at their discretion. Allowing these things to happen again and again, the next child might not be so lucky. 1st time needs to be a sit down with both sides, 2nd time child suspended for a few days, 3rd time child has to be dropped from daycare or longer punishment. Then the guy from corporate apologizes for the parents, he cant speak for them. Mayne give them a brochure on how to teach their child about biting or something.The next day the guy from corporate was still hanging around and chose to antagonize me. I was still kind of upset from the way conversation went yesterday. He wanted to mention policy as it concerned my child and lunch. I was a little late for lunch and stopped to get my child food. Upon arriving at daycare I asked the lady at front desk of he could finish it before going into classroom. She said yes, but I insisted he ate it up there so other kids wouldnt come around or be asking for his food. Plus the whole allergy thing. Well Mr Corporate wanted to address me about it and talk policy when it doesnt state clearly in the policy anything he ever says. We had strong words he threaten to kick my son out and then proceeded to talk to me like I was his child. Eventually the exchange words led to his ego kicking my son out of the school. Well behaved never had an incident. And I to never heard from corporate after 5 or more calls

Our children were there for their summer daycare, not during the school year. The teachers were great the office staff is completely inept. I understand some accounting issues but after providing bank statements to rectify the issues and show we were up to date they still tried to say we still owed money three weeks prior to our children enrolling in public school. The owner I suppose took the new statement showing we still owed from my wife and let her know that this will be dealt with since we already fixed the issues. As of today, three weeks after our kids have been in public school, we get a call advising that we still owe Windhaven Academy $1,000. They thought our kids were still going to their daycare when they havent been at the academy since 8/28, 8/25 was their last day. BEWARE, your kids will do ok but you will have to deal with bunch of BS.

My four month old was given the wrong bottles while in this school. She developed an allergy, and was lethargic and unresponsive when she arrived at home. I submitted a formal complaint with the director and requested that the incident be reported to corporate. I also requested to review the videos of the infant room to see what happened, and that the incident be investigated. I was never allowed to review the videos, and although the director provided an incident report, at my request, corporate did not communicate with me. I called and left messages, and they never responded. The response I received from the director was that they reviewed the videos and spoke to the staff about being more careful when feeding the infants. I had questioned the caregivers myself, and was told that my daughter was given cow milk. Infants cannot digest cow milk, and should not be given cow milk until they are 1 year old. Furthermore, my childs name was on the bottles! Completely unacceptable. In addition, my daughter developed the worst diaper rash shes ever had from attending this daycare. The rash would be almost gone over the weekends, and absolutely terrible by friday. Poor care overall.

Staff could care less about the children that go there. Would never refer anyone there. Very unprofessional and uncaring.
