We have been sending our kids to New Star for more than 5 years now. New Star provides kids a truly family like environment. We can easily tell our kids are very happy at New Star every day. The academic programs at New Star are excellent. Our kids joined New Star the summer before starting Kindergarten. Both of them passed GT tests in their public school during the Kindergarten year and have been top students in their classes.There are a few after schools in Plano that are known for academic rigorous. But after visiting those schools for a few times and hearing comments from friends who are sending their kids there, we felt New Star provides the best balance in academic excellence and a loving personal touch to students.The kids like New Star very much, especially their teachers. New Star teachers are awesome. They are very nice, always willing to help and accommodate our special needs, arrangement requests, such as special class schedule, picking up kids from different camps during the summers and etc.My daughter just reminded me not to forget to mention Coach Li, who teaches Ping Pong at New Star. My kids love Coach Li. She is the best Ping Pong coach we have ever had. Coach Li is very good at motivating and bonding with kids, not just for Ping Pong skills, but the development of good personalities. Coach Li is very thoughtful, observant and caring; she pays great attention to kids and provides ample encouragement for every tiny progress the kids are making.

New Star is a great school! First, it has nice classrooms and a very safe environment. There is an outdoor playground which is nice that kids can have recess and play outside. My child has been in this school for almost 6 years now. I feel this is a wonderful community of teachers, staff and engaged parents. The philosophy of New Star education is combining advanced learning method with Chinese style. They not only care about students learning and academic results, but also teach students proper manner, behavior and take care of their emotional needs(or say their happiness). You can see kids are all happy here –they are busy learning and having fun at the same time. Teachers and staff are very caring, attentive and dedicated. I highly recommend!

You never have this experience the school principle is always greeting to every parents in the front door when the parents pick up their kids. Yes, That is New Star Education Leadership school.You can’t image how many patience they are teaching and face to these children. All the teachers care and treat my kids like of theirs. It’s so pleasure to have their teaching for the pass few years till now.If you want your kids to be safe, have advanced academy level, have warmest in after school, call them, to schedule school tour. You won’t be disappointment.

My two sons love to go to New Star after school program everyday. They enjoy continuing learning with fun through New Stars plentiful enrichment programs. Both boys easily entered to PISD PACE program with the help of New Stars PACE prep program. I was impressed by New Stars program which is designed to develop a kid socially, physically and emotionally. The facility is well-equipped to provide kids a safe learning environment. It is most important that the teachers are not only educators but also caregivers. Kids are happier in New Star than any other surrounding after schools.

They also balance program schedule well with enough recess time to ensure students have good focus. Teachers and staffs in New Star are very kind and considerate, always offering best service. We had couple times that we picked up kid later than their closing time without being charged for extra fees. The owner Teacher Zhang is always very supportive to all the parents and ready to have discussions on our needs and concerns. Having your students in New Star is definitely worry-free experience.

It is a great bilingual (English and Chinese) after school. My two kids go to this school since kindergarten and never transfer to other after school. They love the teachers there. The teachers are highly qualified with warm hearts. They love the kids while teach them academic and make sure they finish their homework on time either from regular school or New Star own designed work like math, Chinese.... New Star offers variety of interest programs with certain fees including Chess, Ping pong, Reading, Writing, Coding.... The summer camp is for full day during summer break with great lunch menus kids love so much, field trips on each Friday during summer camp are what kids looking forward each week. Location is legacy and Coit, very convenient place with play ground outside and big inside recess area for rainy day activities. It does not matter you speak Chinese or not, there are lots of kids with different colors and speak different other languages. I strongly recommend New Star to the parents if you are looking for Safe, fun and academic strong after -school.

We like this after school. My older kid has been there for more than 4 years and my younger one has been there for 2 years. Both enjoy the time there. The school has the right balance between kids having fun and academic development. The teachers are nice and have students best interests at heart.

When looking for an after-school service for our son four years ago in Plano, my husband and I interviewed with four English/Chinese bilingual after schools in the area. We chose New Star because of their excellent educational programs with a good balance with extracurricular activities, a remarkably friendly environment, and their nice facility (including an outdoor playground and a large indoor space for kids to play). During the past four years, we all have been very happy with New Star. Their teachers are very patient, reliable, and easy to communicate with. Their management staff is very professional and responsive. Our son has learned a lot there and had so much fun.

My both kids go to New Star from Kindergarten. The older one is in 6th grade now. We are extremely pleased with how they are doing in care here. The environment is educational and caring, and I could not ask for a better place for my kids. Highly recommend!
