We have been with Goddard for 2 years now. And 2 more to come. Both my kids love this place. They have incredible staff, amazing teachers and so so caring.I can not express my gratitude enough. Plainfield needed a place like this.I trust my kids are well taken care of. It is affordable and I know my kids are in good hands. My daughter started reading thanks to her pre k teacher Mrs Jenn.She is ready for K and she loved the place.If I have one more baby, Goddard Will be my place to go.Thank you

My granddaughter was previously enrolled in public preschool, but we found that she was losing skills instead of learning new ones. We set out to find the best educational program in our area. After touring and interviewing at multiple schools Goddard chose us. After our tour the decision was made before we could drive the 5 minutes home. The school is so clean, bright, and inviting. The teachers and their assistants are warm and welcoming. Goddard becomes a second family. In less than 2 months my granddaughter had caught back up and was exceeding. She had never been in a daycare setting and loves every minute that she’s here. I was also extremely concerned about food allergies, as she is allergic to dairy, egg, peanuts, and tree nuts. Everyone is trained and very aware about each child’s needs. The Summer Program is filled with fun while keeping them on the path to learning. I plan on having my granddaughter here to learn until she ages out of the programs offered. I recommend Goddard to everyone.

I am extremely new to The Goddard family however I want to share how much I already feel so loved. The owner Karen cares deeply for the well-being of not only me as the parent but for my child. She has a wonderful smile. I pick my daughter up yesterday and she didnt want to leave. My daughter couldnt wait to go back to school this morning and she dressed to impressed and said that she was going to look fabulous. They have this tadpole app and they send you updates throughout the day including images. At the end of the day they send you an overview of everything that happened including nap time in the meals they ate and how much they ate of it. These little updates throughout the day bring me joy while at work... Not to mention peace of mind. From the moment we walk in to school... We get greeted with authentic smiles. there are a lot of preschools to choose from in the area and its very hard to make a decision that you feel is right.... I have tried a couples preschools and daycares, please give your child a chance to try out Goddard, you and your family will love it!

The entire school works diligently to offer each student the highest level of education while nurturing the needs of a small child. Both of my children are Goddard children. I truly cant imagine choosing any other daycare or preschool program.The owners are very invested in the success of each childs education. This is easy to see as they seem to know every child and parents first name and greet everyone with a warm welcome. The teachers are highly skilled and care greatly. They have discovered the specific interests and natural tendencies for learning of both of my children. The directors, teachers, and owners are always available for a question. Additionally, the school is consistently offering creative avenues of learning such as magic shows, science projects, crafts, and more. I am SO HAPPY my children are Goddard kids!

The Goddard owners Mr.and Mrs. Rundy is PHENOMENAL their compassion for the children and the families is nothing short of amazing. My daughter is new to the Goddard family but it seems like she has been attending Goddard forever. One word that would describe the Goddard Family and atmosphere is AGAPE.

One of the best childcare schools in the area. The owners are great and the curriculum is wonderful. I can get quick answers within same a day and the teachers are good. They care about the kids. We love it here. We tried others but this place is the best.

What can I say? Goddard is simply amazing. Both of my daughters have been going their since they were 4 months old. As most moms, I was terrified leaving my daughters in the care of others for the first time. However, the teachers are amazing and love your child like their very own. One thing that I like most about Goddard is that it doesn’t feel like your sending your child to daycare but rather to school. The things they learn are mind blowing. For instance, this year they had a Doctor come in and run the STEAM program at the school. They had 3 year olds dissecting parts of animals and making model viruses. The pictures that we received were so cool and my daughter taught me so many new things. Furthermore, during my oldest daughter’s kindergarten year, she scored way higher on the reading standardized test in comparison to the school and district. This is in part, due to Goddard starting them with sights words the year before. I can go on and on. Goddard is worth every penny and I couldn’t see sending my kids anywhere else!

This school is just a business, nothing else they care about.My kids hate this school sooo much, it’s really hard to say anything good about this school, cause there’s nothing.

The Goddard location on Theodore Street is THEE place for your kids. After dropping off our oldest daughter in 2013 for the first time when she was only 3 months old, we were worried because this would be her first time away from home for an extended period of time. That was the first and last time we ever felt a sense of anxiety surrounding our children and their attendance at Goddard. Needless to say, they have exceeded our expectations. It should be no surprise then, that our youngest daughter also attends this Goddard, even after her oldest sister graduated. As educators ourselves, we have high standards for our children and what we expose them to. With that said, I can honestly say that I would not want my kids at any other school. The owners, Karen and Rundy, treat our children like their own and all of the teachers do as well. The environment is friendly and welcoming and additionally, they prepare your children to excel academically. My oldest daughter, who started there way back in 2013 and is now in kindergarten, scoring above grade level in reading and mathematics. We have Goddard to thank for this. Do yourself a favor and enroll your child in Goddard on Theodore. You wont be disappointed. Trust me!

My daughter started with the Goddard September 2018 and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is amazing. My daughter has learned Spanish, sign language, chess and so many other things.I am a high anxiety person so when summer came around and I saw the list of field trips I was on edge. Mrs. Bella was kind enough to answer all of my safety concerns seeing how this was the first time my child would be going on a trip without me. She walked me through how the days would go and reassured me that my child was in safe hands.The way I feel about the Goddard and the staff words can’t describe they are my child’s family away from home.I love their concern for the kids and how they interact with them. I can’t wait to start my new career journey with the Goddard.

I have been at the Goddard school for 7yrs. as a teacher and parent and now as the director. I have seen the growth and development it has offered my children and I am proud to say Im part of the Goddard family. The teachers are all well educated and think outside the box to ensure the children are building a strong foundation in learning and challenged to exceed expectations.

The Goddard School is second to none, this location in particular. The owners, Rundy and Karen are invested in the education of the children and it shows through the curriculum and extra curricular activities offered. The staff is very professional, and we love the teachers that our daughter interacts with daily (which are most of them). Our daughter is 3 years old and she’s asking us when she is going to school again on the weekend which speaks volumes about the school. Don’t hesitate to enroll your child, you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about how much I love the Goddard School. Being a first time mom I was terrified of having my son away from me all day in the hands of someone else, however; I quickly came to realize how much love my son received at this school. He looks forward to going to school every day, so much so that as soon as he’s dressed in the morning he goes to the door, regardless if I’m ready to go or not! He kicks his legs in excitement when we walk through the doors of the school. The teachers at Goddard not only love my son, and all the kids there, but they also do so much teaching. He has learned a lot since he has been there and it hasn’t even been a year. He is always busy throughout the day and is wiped when he gets home. The pictures that I receive throughout the day of him doing hands on activities and the daily report about his time there that I see at the end of the day continues to reassure me that I made the right choice. While I’m at work, he is happy, he is loved, he is learning, and it is all thanks to the owners, staff, and teachers at The Goddard School.

We love The Goddard School! My daughter wants to be there all the time with her friends. She has learned so much since she started Pre-K almost a year ago. The teachers and staff are amazing!

It’s not a daycare.. it’s a school! My daughter started school when she was 11 weeks old and she has been there for two years now. As time goes on, I am more and more impressed with this organization. Each teacher creates a lesson plan (even in the infant room), so we know exactly what they have planned for our little one. At the end of each day we get a personalized report on our childs activities - from feedings, naps and diapers to things she did or learned that day and pictures of her enjoying the activities. I have walked into her classroom at all hours of the day, unannounced, and have never once been disappointed or worried about what I saw. The kids are always doing something constructive, and usually as a group. The school is always clean (I don’t know how they do it), and the staff is absolutely stellar. I am so, so happy with our decision to place our daughter in the care of the teachers and staff at The Goddard School. I have recommended the school to two friends both are very happy with the organization as well.

Our daughter attended the Goddard School in Plainfield for almost four years before she graduated Kindergarten and entered the first grade.Throughout our time at Goddard we noticed a definite distinction between them and other early learning facilities. The team of teachers, directors and owners were constantly looking for ways to challenge the children. From Sign Language to Spanish, Science Fairs or performances they were always introducing them to new experiences and promoting their personal development.Not only was the Goddard school academically superior, there was never a time that we were uncomfortable with the onsite team. They spoke to our daughter like a person with feelings; as if what she had to say was the most important thing in the world. This gave her the confidence to know that her ideas matter and that finding new solutions is something she is very capable of. As parents, if there was ever a concern about our daughter’s experience it was addressed immediately and we were never treated as a burden.The school was always clean, picked up and thematically decorated. A friendly welcome was always given when we arrived to drop off or pick up our daughter and even now that we are gone, it is wonderful to go back and visit with the amazing team there.All of these exciting and challenging experiences helped prepare our daughter for entry into the first grade a year ahead of schedule. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the amazing people we met, the experiences our daughter and family had and the readiness of the graduating children to take the next step in their academic career.

I was recently asked what I like about the Goddard School, my reply was:EVERYTHING! Jackson is so excited to go to school every day!!! Mrs. Oliva is amazing, and makes learning so much fun for him. She was also able to get him to start wearing his glasses every day, which was really a huge thing! We are very grateful for this! We love hearing the little songs that he has learned in school as well. Jackson has only been at Goddard for one month, and we are so impressed with all that he has learned!!

I don’t recall ever writing a review. This particular Goddard School (5005 W. Theodore Street) in Plainfield, Illinois, compels me to write one. My son has been attending this school for the past two years, since he was two years old, and my wife and I have been consistently happy, to say the least. While he is there, my wife never worries, which is truly amazing. (This is a woman who has never hired a babysitter.) The school itself is, by far, the cleanest, nicest school I have ever visited. My son has absolutely thrived here, both socially and academically. I, for one, was really impressed how they transition the child to the next classroom, as the child starts out by “visiting” his/her new class over a period of time, spending more and more time in the new room, until they feel the child is ready. I feel individual attention is definitely given to each child’s needs (potty training, academically, etc.). I am also very pleased with the teachers and front office staff. My son has had multiple teachers and we’ve been very happy with all of them. There is a lot of direct one-on-one communication, either through the daily activity report, which details everything from the day, including what he decided to eat and how much of it (helpful to know with a very picky eater) or through email, etc. The owners, who are always available and present, are about the nicest people one could meet, and have been extremely flexible and accommodating to our family’s ever-changing schedule needs. We have never given much thought to private school, as both my wife and I attended public school, but it was a no-brainer for us to enroll him in their Kindergarten program, which he will start in the Fall. In fact, my wife and I are disappointed they don’t offer 1st grade. This school does, however, offer a full-time summer camp, for ages up to eight years old, that our son will certainly attend. Goddard Plainfield II is the perfect fit for our family!Located at 5005 W. Theodore Street in Plainfield, this school is exceptional. As a new mother, I carefully researched the area schools for my daughter. Upon meeting the owners, Rundy and Karen, and touring the school, I knew this was the right place for my precious little girl. I cant say enough wonderful things about the owners, teachers/staff, facility and other families. My daughter absolutely loves going to school, and I know its a great foundation for her education. From the secure and inviting environment, and attentive and qualified teachers and directors, to the delicious and nutritious meals/snacks prepared daily, the owners and staff at Goddard II really go above and beyond in meeting the needs of every child.I love the structured curriculum and age-appropriate activities that allow our children to meet and even exceed developmental benchmarks. I have watched my daughter really blossom, both academically and socially, and I am thrilled with the standards set at Goddard as a whole, and specifically at our site. At Goddard - Plainfield II, we are truly a family....one huge family, and we all work together in the best interests of our children. The Goddard experience has been amazing and I know that I have made the best decision for my daughter (and for me as a working mom)! The nurturing environment, coupled with the outstanding curriculum have exceeded my expectations. My daughter is safe, happy and learning so much -- I couldnt ask for more. We are blessed and grateful to be a part of the Goddard family!
