Dan is doing a great job teaching my kindergartner piano. He excels at balancing challenging my child and taking time to be silly.

Strum is amazing. You wont find better instructors anywhere. Both of my daughters attend Strum, one guitar the other a drum player. They love attending their lessons and look forward to them every week. Cant thank Strum enough for their continued encouragement and watching my daughters confidence grow.

After attempting to learn guitar on my own, and watching You Tube videos for a few months, I decided it was time to take my guitar playing more seriously. Since signing up five months ago, I have developed faster than I ever thought possible. Kim is a great instructor, is very patient, and tailors the lessons to what I want to learn. She provides great feedback and pushes me to be better. Mike has been great in the optional Saturday Jam sessions and is a wizard with tailoring the sessions to the level of players that show up. Nick and Ashley are about the nicest and most encouraging people I have ever met. Overall, if your looking to get additional instruction in guitar, I highly recommend them! You wont be disappointed.

My son started drum lessons at Strum University a couple of months ago and we couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. Kash is his instructor and is extremely knowledgeable and patient with my son. He has an upbeat and fun personality and my son looks forward to drum lessons every week. We look forward to many more drum lessons to come!

From the first moment of contact my family’s experience with Strum University has been amazing. Nick keeps everything super-organized with scheduling, billing, etc. and the studio is always in pristine shape. My son started drums at the age of 7 and his teacher was amazing with him from the get-go. We have enjoyed our experience so much that much husband and I are considering taking lessons there ourselves for guitar and piano. We HIGHLY recommend Strum University for children or adults interested in singing lessons or learning a variety instruments.

I have been a student of Nicks at Strum University for a few months now and I have to say this has been the most fun I have ever had. I had no musical experience besides the recorder back in grade school. I received a ukulele for Christmas and went down to Strum University for the first free lesson to see if it would be something I would enjoy and I have been loving it ever since. Nick and the other staff are fantastic and the studio is gorgeous. I highly recommend coming here to check it out!

Strum University is the best. Nick is a great guitar teacher, and the studio is always clean and welcoming. The extras ( Jam Sessions, Song Nights, etc) are fantastic. Learned more with Nick in a few months than I did In a year and a half with another teacher. If I could rate 10 Stars I would.

Love Strum University!!! Nick is awesome and my daughter has loved, loved, loved working with Ms. Tina on vocals. Shes grown so much in the few months since she started lessons. Her confidence has soared and she gets pushed to continue improving and reach her full potential.

Both my children have been taking piano and guitar lessons at Strum University for over seven months. Nick is very professional. The ambience and environment of the classroom is awesome. The teachers Mike and Tina do a great job . They are highly skilled and are wonderful teachers . Highly recommend this for all in the valley.

My daughter has been taking drum lessons for about 6 months now. She has learned so much....more than I ever expected. They entire staff is super friendly and the studio is hip and inviting. Nick makes learning how to play guitar so easy and fun. He teaches the music you want to play. Youll see quick progression and be playing all your favorite songs fast.

I think I am the oldest student the school ever had. Nonetheless, Nick copes with my excuses and grouchiness while making the lesson fund and actually teaching me to play the guitar. Few others could do that.

I met Nick and Tina 6 months ago when I began taking voice lessons from Tina. She is well educated, has lots of experience, and is an excellent teacher. She and Nick are very good to work with and very supportive of and encouraging to the students. I recommend them and Strum University.

What a great experience for our son! Nick is so patient, and he inspires our son to go out of his comfort zone. Its not alway easy to communicate with teenagers, so Nick is a Godsend.

I spotted the sandwich sign one day, driving down 7th Ave. Im glad I did. Nick has been awesome! His approach has been friendly and casual. He is walking me step by step thru, not only songs, but music theory . Im actually beginning to think I can play! The studio at Strum is very cool and its only getting bigger and better with his expansion. Aside from the music, Nick is obviously passionate about the atmosphere he provides for his students. You can easily see how he takes pride in the business side of his operation as well. He has a mindset for success as well as fun. Hes taken an intimidating thing and made it accessible to me. Im grateful to him and for him.

I have been taking guitar lessons for years thru Craiglist and it has been OK, but not great. Nick from Strum University has been incredible. He gives you realistic assignments but pushes you to grow outside your comfort zone to be a better musician. I especially like how you work on mechanics together. Nick makes you feel at ease during the lesson so you dont feel shy playing with him. Overall, highly recommended!!
