I don’t have an experience at this school. But I do have a sibling who goes to mast charter. He says that he loves it and my parents have loved it also since they went to open house. And I am planning on going there for high school. Great school

I was a MaST student for 7 years and can truly say that the only good thing about it was the education. MaST did not and continues not to provide an anti-bullying or bully free zone for its students. In my time, I both experienced and witnessed several accounts of bullying that were brought to the attention of the counselors, disciplinarians, and even principal. The administration did very little to prevent or stop the bullying. Rather than reprimand bullies with detentions, suspensions, or phone calls to home, the students being victimized were isolated and sent to sit in a counselors office during lunch periods (when bullying often occurs). One instance of internet bullying by students went so far and was so blatantly missed (I prefer to say ignored) by staff that a young student even committed suicide in the 2014-2015 school year.The most aggravating thing about this school is that an everyday parent would not know that these things are happening here. Thousands of parents apply each year in attempt to get their child into this school thinking that they will have a top-of-the-line school experience. MaST prides themselves in local news publications about their high test scores and state-of-the-art technologies, but you would never hear a thing about their ever-growing bullying problem. Parents think that their kids are safe and happy at this school when many of them may be going through traumatizing and 100% preventable bullying. This school utterly fails to provide their students with a safe place to learn, where instances of bullying occur as early as the first and second grade (some of which have happened to my younger siblings at MaST).Parents, take this from someone who has seen it happen in her time at MaST first hand: a good education is not as important as your childs mental health. A school strong in academics is useless if its students are too scared to attend due to fear that they will have to face another day of bullying. Think twice before applying to enroll your young ones next year.

My daughter is only in 1st grade, but the school, and staff are so involved, and on top of everything. I could not have any higher expectations because this school is above them all. Truly lucky to be a part of the MAST family/community.

I went up to pick my sister up and some blonde lady, maybe in the her late 30s said i couldn’t pick her up till 3:15 in a very disrespectful way.

Great school, great teachers, pleasant children. The learning environment at MaSt is awesome.

The people in administration care more about the public image of the school over the experience the students receive. Students will get penalized over the littlest of things, such as latenesses, yet students who openly harrass others receive nothing more than in class suspensions. Though efforts have been made by my fellow peers to start reforms at MaST in the mental health department, no action has been taken.

My daughter will be graduating 8th grade this year, and has been going to Mast since kindergarden. We are SO greatfull that our daughter goes there. All my friends may so much money for their childrens Catholic school, and they all wish their kids go to Mast. Our daughter gets great education, and the teachers are great.

Fantastic school.. Its a shame they can not take more children each year.
