I took classes from United Studios of Self Defense a couple years back and I can say its not a good school. The school focuses on quantity over quality of students and the quality of their martial arts suck. Everybody passed testing and I got up to blue belt in about a year before quitting. The kids group classes were a lot of chaos and brawling during sparring instead of actual karate. The prices of the membership and the testing fees were very overpriced. Overall 0/10 would not recommend it.

The instructor, Mr. Jensen, is very knowledgable in various fighting forms. He is attentive, patient, and is great with children. All around a great little dojo where everyone knows each other. Very comfortable setting.

My grandson has been taking classes here for a couple weeks and we are so happy with the experience. The lobby isnt very big they have an area you can watch your kids classes. Andrew is great with the kids and its amazing how he is interested in their personal lives and gets updates fe staff truly cares about every individual. rom them. Very family-oriented and welcoming.

Ik one of mr.jensens children now I wanna spar Jensen me knowing nothing of martial arts I train with one of my freinds that is a good student of his but oh yeah pull up 🥋

This place is awesome! Friendly, accommodating and very good with kids. Mr. Jensen is very caring and gives great instruction with patience. My sons confidence levels have improved and he loves attending his classes and one on one sessions.

Im so happy I signed our son with United Studios of Self Defense. Mr. Jensen is patient and professional with our son. Our son has 4 sisters and super gentle. He would rather cry than push back. Since his sessions with Mr. Jensen he no longer run and cries when kids push him around and call him a baby. He stands his ground. He even speaks louder now... Lol! Hes confident, blending in at school with his peers and his lunch is no longer being taken. His attitude towards learning has greatly improved, according to his teacher! He still wont sit still as Id like but definitely a billion times better than before he started. My nerves are finally calm and I no longer worry about how horrible his day is going at school while staring at the clock with tears and thoughts of home schooling. Also, very welcoming atmosphere! This review is truly long overdue. My son has been attending USSD Aliante for a few years now under the instruction of Mr. Jensen. Along with the assistance of Mr. Carnine, I have witness a transformation in my son which to me is beyond amazing. Mr. Jensens teachings has and continues to increase my sons self-confidence and discipline which he has applied to his studies in middle school. Today, my son is a straight A student and I attribute a good portion of that accomplishment to Mr. Jensen and USSD Aliante. Yesterday, my son passed his 2nd degree Brown belt test. I was able to catch the end of it where everyone had to spare. Let me just say I was blown away and proud seeing my son in action with control and grace. The martial arts taught at USSD Aliante is primarily focused on self-defense and seeing how my son spared and the others on that test is a true testament to that principle.

Its the greatest, just so awesome!!
