Highly recommend West Air for flight training. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming and want to see you succeed. When my initial CFI had an emergency, i switched to a couple other people who were all amazing and very knowledgeable. Always felt like everyone wanted to see me excel and never felt judged when i had a bad day. I recommend this small mom and pop school over the rest if you want a personal experience and new friendships. Thank you!

I am a private pilot from Pittsburgh and was looking to fulfill my dream of flying over the Grand Canyon during my Vegas visit. West Air did an incredible job making this dream come true. Dennis is a great instructor and taught me to fly the canyon with checkpoint identification, handling density altitude/desert flying, and also a great refresher course as I have not flown recently. I came away a better pilot after the trip. I would highly recommend West Air for Anyone looking to learn fly the canyon safely. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

This is a caring flight school that wants you to succeed. No pressure and a highly trained staff that will get you to where you want to go. They have catered a syllabus to my skill level and aviation goals.

Flew 172N to Canyon West and back with Rebecca. Great flight, great airplane, great instruction. All good at a good price. I recommend scheduling at least 3 hours for the flight and recommend getting out at Canyon West. We didnt ... and Im kicking myself for missing the opportunity to go on the Skywalk.

In 2004 my friend and i flew from here every other day for two weeks and we took an instructor as a guide each time... he showed us all of the little strips and one epic journey was nearly 400 miles away ... we experienced engine issues, weather issues, density altitude problems... he was absolutely brilliant and i think enjoyed it as much as we did.... he even picked us up from our hotel.... the staff at base were ever so friendly too... well worth going there to fly.....

You can rent an aircraft here or learn to fly. Very well taken care of aircraft. Also very nice staff.

I love West Air aviation. They are the best guys around and have a great fleet of training and cross country aircraft in the Las Vegas Area. Good prices on rental aircraft a fantastic 1937 Beechcraft Staggerwing that is commercially available for people to fly in and have a throwback to the early days of flight. All the staff are friendly and super courtious, they make you feel like family. I have flown all the planes there.Two of my favorite planes are the Cessna 182RG and Cessna T-41, a once army trainer plane. Plenty of horsepower for any type of flight. I have been flying there for the past 3 years with no regrets.Check this place out and learn to fly or rent an aircraft
