I resumed piano lessons after a very long hiatus and was nervous about starting again. However, I’ve had a fantastic experience at Nashville Music Academy. Owner and instructor, Tatia, has helped me dust off all of the old forgotten skills and build new ones. I’ve never enjoyed playing so much. My 5 year old has also started lessons and adores her teacher!

Our son has taken drum lessons with Philip and the experience, lessons and professionalism have been phenomenal. Philip is an amazing teacher and ever so patient. We are so so impressed! We are so glad to have found Nashville academy and Philip!!

My son started taking flute lessons at the Nashville Music Academy this winter and it has been a great experience. It’s a small school in a remodeled house that is wonderfully decorated and whimsical. Tatia the owner was really responsive when I made my first inquiry and helped me set up lessons. My son’s teacher is Michael. He has been really encouraging and supportive. It’s clear he is a skilled and passionate teacher. My son enjoys his lessons and I’m really glad that this has been his first experience with music. The lessons are reasonably priced and they offer a discount if you pay for 4 weeks at a time. They are also serious about Covid protocol which I appreciate!

Ive attended many of the wonderful recitals, met the amazing teachers and staff, and had the privilege of sitting in the beautiful Academy listening to the sounds of students practicing their music. Im most proud of my daughter, Tatia, who has such a wonderful way with her special needs students, and has created an incredibly openhearted environment in which all can learn.

Nashville Music Academy is one of the best schools for private lessons in Nashville. The studios are in a beautifully renovated craftsman (nice to hang out in while you wait during your childs lessons) and the teachers are professional, communicative, and great with tailoring lessons to every students individual needs. My niece loves taking piano and voice lessons there and I enjoy bringing her and seeing how happy she is and how much shes grown since she started private lessons about a year ago. Cant recommend this place enough!

As an adult student I love this place! I take piano with Dani Elliott. Shes the most amazing teacher to work with and very encouraging. She knows how to instruct older students and really cares that I get the most out of our 45min lesson. Her technique insights are amazing and she’s always willing to help me learn whichever piece I want. I feel like Im really getting a top notch education. The Academy itself is easy to work with and friendly. I think the lesson prices are very fair. Once I showed up five minutes late and was given five minutes extra for next week to ensure I had my moneys worth. Would definitely recommend!

I was lucky to find Nashville Music Academy for beginning trumpet lessons as an adult learner. Nick Haynes is an excellent teacher who can cover a variety of types of trumpet music and knows the fundamentals whose mastery leads to the ability to play songs and improvise. The Academy is well run, centrally located in a charming older house, and billing is a breeze.

This is a fantastic place for private music lessons. Both of my kids love it here — the teachers are understanding, approachable, and very professional. I also really appreciate how flexible everyone is even when scheduling issues come up from our side.

My son takes multiple instrument and voice lessons from NMA. Each of the instructors are trained and skilled to work with young students. It is a happy environment and the students really enjoy seeing their talents flourish! By far, the best place for music lessons in NASHVILLE!!

I am the violin teacher at Nashville Music Academy, and have been so pleased with the relaxed, friendly studio environment as well as the students Ive had so far. I attended the annual recital this year, and WOW! The progress that each student has made was tremendous. Im looking forward to continuing teaching violin lessons, and am hoping to start fiddle workshops in the near future!

This has been a fantastic place for my child to learn how to play an instrument. His teacher is patient and kind and also super cool. He has learned a tremendous amount and developed a love for music. I would recommend to anyone looking to grow their musical knowledge or just have fun!

They always work with my schedule and really allow me to learn at my own pace. As an adult learner and someone who has a busy schedule this is really beneficial to me. Im able to learn piano as I have always wanted to and do so enjoyably!

Really nice place to bring your kid and learn music, my daughter takes violin with Miss Leandria and is very happy. She takes her time to listen any questions and gives her tips to improve while she practices at home.Schedules are very flexible.Teachers also do an amazing work at Valor Collegiate, is very touching to see the kids grow in confidence at each presentation.Thank you!

I took voice and piano from Elise Hayes, and I loved it! She is a wonderful teacher. She helped me feel comfortable with working on my talent in front of her, and she made learning new things so much fun! I hope to return in the future when I can resume lessons for sure!

Booked a music lesson for my baby and when we went there, we were totally disappointed. They never opened the door, the Teacher forgot about the class and we had to leave without taking a class. The only positive thing was that the owner apologised and offered a free class (which we are not taking for sure) and a refund. Such a waste of time. Expected some professionalism from them. My baby (who was waiting for this eagerly) was so much disappointed and so am I.....

My daughter Cheyenne has been taking voice and drum lessons at Nashville Music academy since November she loves it. I would recommend this school to any child or adult that has a music interest . The teachers are awesome :)

My daughter, Megan, has been taking piano lessons from Tatia Rose for years. Tatias wonderful! She adapts her style to the learning needs of each student, and she works with a wide range of students. Her patience is legendary, and shes a great administrator of the academy as well. All thumbs up!

Ms. Tatia and the other instructors featured through this fantastic music education consortium are a true gift to the Greater Nashville Area. Each of the instructors thatvI have met or observed exercises great professionalism and care with all studens, young and old. Further, Ms Tatia has excellent rapport with the little ones, and has done wonders with our kids!

When my 32 year old sister (who has an intellectual disability) moved to Nashville, she showed interest in drumming. I called the Nashville Music Academy and spoke to Ms. Tatia about lessons. She set us up with Phil Yochum, who is AMAZING. On top of being super-talented, he was extremely patient with my sister and fun! My sister looked forward to her lessons with Mr. Phil each week. She learned so much!My son began taking piano lessons with Ms. Tatia soon after he turned 3. Ms. Tatia is WONDERFUL! She is so good with him; patient, kind and encouraging. He loves going to piano class and my wife and I love listening in on his progress.The instructors experience and education are truly impressive. They are the real deal.
