The local branch principal and the staff never respond to emails or phone calls. I think they don’t care about the concerns to be addressed. This has been the case last year and it continues to be the same this year too.VERY POOR COMMUNICATION!!!!

Incredible asset to our community! Fantastic curriculum, teachers, and facility. The kids are doing such advanced work and they absolutely love it. The new building is perfect for the school and has way more parking than the previous building. I love that it has a playground and tight security. The location is perfect, convenient, and next door to the Naperville Chess Center!

If your child has a passion for math, then the Russian School of Mathematics - Naperville is the single best enrichment option in Chicagoland. Dr. Korenman, and her staff, have a deep understanding of how to enhance a students math skills all the while creating a supportive learning environment. I know dozens of families who have taken class with RSM Naperville and their results have been quite impressive.

This institute is now in Lisle and not in Naperville. The curriculum and teachers are good.

Love, love, love this program and Mrs. Tamara! The RSM curriculum encourages the students to develop their reasoning skills and attack problems in a logical manner while learning and incorporating basic algebra…starting as early as second grade, like much of Europe instead of middle school which is the norm for the U.S. Common Core Curriculum…and going all the way through high school with AP calculus. The focus at RSM is more about grasping concepts and laying a good foundation for math, and less about rote memorization. Dr. Korenman, the Principal, will use your child’s grade and a very short, easy test as a guide for placement but once the teacher has a chance to assess and see how your child does in class, they will move up students who need more of a challenge, or provide 1:1 help for those students that need more help. My son has thrived under the tutelage of Mrs. Tamara and his math skills have increased dramatically within this last year. She is kind but firm and makes it clear she expects 100% effort…and encourages the kids to ask questions if they don’t understand something. My son originally started by doing the summer school 6-week program just after first grade and we were so astounded by our son’s engagement and his progress that we immediately signed up to continue through the school year. There are only two schools in Illinois, one in Buffalo Grove and one in Naperville (thank goodness!) – I don’t think it’s a coincidence that there are 15 RSM schools in the state of Massachusetts which ranks at the top consistently for education, especially math. We plan to continue with RSM all the way through high school! Also, one of the teachers there runs a chess class. There was more emphasis on strategy and Vladimir assigned homework which helped reinforce the strategies by isolating certain pieces. It was great! Highly recommend!
