Utica College has absolutely screwed over my sister and other students in her cohort. This college does not care about their students whatsoever has very poor communication skills (professors do not respond to emails). Out of state students have on average 1 week to find flights to Florida for random in person labs and assignments (some of which were worksheets that could have been done online). The success coaches are worthless. Biggest waste of money, time and takes a huge toll on students mental health. Do not go here or pay this college any attention. It should be shut down because it hardly counts as a nursing school. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

You should avoid this school, honestly terrible all around from education, staff, facility, services. there is no teaching at all, its very expensive, and almost nobody passes. Do not believe what they post on their website about pass rate its very misleading. In my cohort of 15 students only 5 students were able to sit for the nclex. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

If I can give you one piece of advice on this school, it is- DON’T APPLY HERE. My cohort started with 24 students and we are graduating with only 4. As good as the admissions representatives paints this school to be, it is a scam. You will get ZERO support from anyone in the program, and the faculty does not respond to your emails when you need help; basically, you are left on your own to figure out how you will pass and not lose any money.Yes, nursing school is hard, we all know that. But this nursing program is a SCAM; I have plenty of friends who are currently nurses or in nursing school and they are appalled by how students are treated at Utica College ABSN program. There is literally 1 course lead (Pawloski) for pretty much all of the classes… and yes, the reviews stated by “Makayla Pawloski” is her daughter, so they are very biased and misleading.20 students whom I started the program with have either failed one class and/or dropped out of the program. We have come to the conclusion; this program will fail a student just to get more money!!! After they have received payment for the first semester, you are literally left there to suffer on your own with ZERO guidance or support from anyone. The site director will not respond to your emails and neither will your instructors. The exams are made by the professors so there will be a lot of typos, missing information, and does not correlate with book/course material. When it is brought to the instructor’s attention, they will ignore you and act like you’re lying. Keep in mind if you do apply, you have to meet a 77% EXAM average…. Do yourself a HUGE favor and apply to a school with no required passing exam average or one with a lower percentage because nursing school is very HARD.The school does not follow their own policies and procedures and won’t give a damn if you pass or fail. They have ZERO compassion, sympathy or care for their student’s success. If you are ok with teaching yourself for $60,000 and enjoy being mistreated, Utica’s ABSN program is the school for you.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Please believe when i say this school is a complete scam please do not attend save your self money and time. I will give the reasons not to attend below:1. Very expensive school over $50,000 just for tuition which is more expensive than almost every nursing school in the area including NSU, Keiser, FIU, FAU, USF, UF, south univ and those school actually have a campus with library and gym, etc.2. ALSO WHAT THEY DO IS THEY GET MAJORITY OF THE MONEY FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER, EVEN THOUGH YOU TAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OF CLASSES EVERY SEMESTER. THIS IS SO THEY CAN COLLECT AS MUCH MONEY UPFRONT BEFORE STUDENTS QUIT OR FAIL OR LEAVE THE SCHOOL IN THE FOLLOWING SEMESTERS.3. terrible facilities its located in third floor of an unmarked office building next to TSA and mortgage company office. no library, gym, computers, printers, or anything that a normal school would have4. if you want tutoring or extra instruction they sometimes charge you extra5. there is ridiculous amount of assignments that have absolutely nothing to do with the course material or examinations. For example say you have an exam on pharmacology, day before the exam they will have you write 2 page essay on on why cigarettes should be illegal or something like that.5. more than half the people who start the program will not finish and they will be out of a lot of money and no way of recovering those costs6. in my class alone more than half failed, more than that failed the cohort above mine7. the clinical instruction is terrible as well8. There is terrible instruction, there is no videos, lectures, powerpoints, notes, study guides or anything like that. I was so shocked when i went and they have an online program with no lectures or notes or ppt. I really do not know how they expect people to learn.9. the facilities for exams are terrible, they charge $50,000 per student and they dont even have barricades in between the desks they just put up cardboard. This school lies and misrepresents their program.I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO DO RESEARCH ON THIS PROGRAM PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS FOR THE CAMPUS IN ST. PETE AS THEY HAVE BEEN OPEN LONGER. ITS ALL THE SAME PROGRAM SINCE MAJORITY OF IT IS ONLINE WITH THE SAME PROFESSORS. PLEASE READ THE REVIES YOU WILL SEE THAT WHAT I AM SAYING IS NOT NEW MANY STUDENTS SAY THE SAME THING

If I could give this program 1000 stars I would. This program really shaped me into who I am. I learned so many things throughout my entire time here. I am a new graduate of the second class at this campus. I highly recommend it but it is not something to take lightly! A lot of people that had started out came in and thought it would be a piece of cake..nursing school in general is hard and this is now in 16 months. You can do it if you set your mind to it! If I were to suggest one piece of advice it would be when you are struggling to reach out to your resources (teachers, success coach, friends in the program). They can help you and guide you in the right direction!
