The recent 1 star reviews are no joke. DASH is the joke here!! A lot of the teaching and office staff are snobs and the students here are pretty snobby as well. I seriously have not met ruder teaching staff ever before. (Cough cough *fashion and math*) Seriously at the end if the day, it matters what college you go to (if you choose to do so!) And you can literally enjoy your high school life AND go to a good college after graduating any other high school rather than DASH. Thank goodness I was able to leave this school so let this be a warning to any other student interested in going here. Their art program is nothing to commend here and you will not enjoy yourself. Save your time and energy and apply to another high school.

If there was an option for zero stars, that would sum up this place perfectly. Trust me I know it seems like the dream school before you get in, but once youre in, you will regret nothing more. TRUST ME. Go anywhere else, literally ANYWHERE! Save yourself from the depleted mental health and robbed sanity that students who go here are subject to. And if youre already in, Im so sorry, I know your pain. Heres to us :(

This place made my childhood and my adolescence seem like a tragedy, the number of times Ive thought about giving up due to the trauma this school caused is infinite. I will FOREVER remember the anxiety and depression that this school caused me, the students and the staff are a bunch bullies that think they are better then everyone else. If you want to look back at your teenage years and live full of regret? sure then, give dash a try! :)

This school has destroyed every fiber of my being. I have nothing left to give, I came into this school as a happy innocent freshman. I am leaving drained of all my life force and devastated to have wasted my high school experience. All of the office staff have been beyond terrible and the school is falling apart. They take all of their misery and unhappiness with their job out on the students. I pray for any students that have or will fall into this trap.

People at this school, please tell me your thoughts and opinions on the school as well as how the art program here really works (according to you).im planning on transferring over for junior and senior year, and im auditioning soon, but seeing as the reviews are mixed, i’d like to know more.

The academics in this school are good. The office staff however is a bit of a mess. I am truly disheartened at the art program, I came here with the thought of a good art basis to help me through highschool but for our art program we have gone through too many teachers and I feel it affects me and my peers work. After an incident that ended with the firing of an amazing art teacher, the school cant seem to get its art program together. They even went as far as to ban liquid media (paints) in the 9th grade art class! Now the office staff. The office staff in this school cant get much right. A few months ago a pantsing incident occured. I didnt know who the culprit was, but apparently the office thought it was a good idea to tell him I snitched on him. Not only are they not allowed to do that, I legitimately felt unsafe that my own school would try to ruin my friendship with someone. This is unacceptable. There is a hole in the boys bathroom wall that they refuse to fix. This school criminalizes freshmen making the experience negative from the start.I decided that enough is enough and its time to voice my opinion.
