Great high school... Terrible college. If you are a music major, avoid at all costs. There is only an orchestra here. No band. The orchestra is 90% high school students that act out all the time and 10% is the college division. Not many playing opportunities and classes are set in stone. You only have 1 choice of a schedule qith no wiggle room.

I graduated from the college division two years ago and I loved my experience there. I learned so much and all my professors were wonderful ( Because it’s a small school, I got one on one attention with each and every one of them). If you are serious about the Arts, then New World is for you.

If you want equality come here . Where we treat all equal . Gay, Muslim, black, white, transgender, Hispanic, ANYTHING you are welcomed thats rare in high schools in Miami
