Been there since 2013, and now my last year, i really enjoyed this school, the best.

It’s a school that cares for its students. I like the security system they have with all the teachers and team members from the school especially these days. Amazing teachers, Ms. Sosa, Ms. Perdomo, Ms. Oropeza, Mrs. Arguello, Ms. Bernardo and all VKP team you guys ROCK!!!!Bolivar Siblings.

This was my 7th grade year and the teacher i had was ms cabrera she was a very good we had lots of fun in our class and we learned many things that would help us in our later life . cant wait for my 8th grade year

My 2 girls have been attending since pre-k. teachers are wonderful! Specially during this hard year Ms. Perdomo and Ms. Loddi have been awesome teachers, very caring with their students! My girls have learned soo much and love their teachers.

I recently enrolled my 3 children here and the experience has been awesome! The teachers are excellent they communicate with me freely and we work together to ensure my kids had a successful school year and so far it is working as my 3 children were on the Honor roll and I look forward to working with their teachers to achieve this the rest of the school year. The teachers have made the transition for myself and my kids to be a pleasant one and I would highly recommend this school to my other friends.

Sunflowers Academy has been my daughters second home since third grade. The safe, teachers, academic advisor, counselors, and everyone involved in my daughters achievements have been an excellent experience. She will be leaving an 🦅 she went on and get accepted to a nursing magnet program which her mascot will also be an 🦅. Excellent school to enroll your child. This was a school year with a big challenge, COVID-19 came to change our lives. We never experienced anything like that before, but I can say that Sunflowers Academy planned and worked very hard to continue giving the best of it during this difficult time. Thanks to all teachers, administrative staff, and maintenance personnel for continue educating our children, for offering not only regular academic work, but fun activities about health, sports, and art that made easier for our kids to deal with the isolation of these last couple of months. Thanks a lot Ms. Xiomara Cabrera for everything; It has been a pleasure having you as our home room teacher.

Even though this school year has been challenging for both teacher and students Ms. Madeline Garcia has been amazing with all the changes. Shes wonderful, caring, humble and very attentive with all her students. You can always expect a fast response when sending her emails. My son loves her and has Lear a lot from her.

My daughter attends school at Sunflowers Academy. The staff is very efficient, professional and knowledgeable and my childs teacher (Ms. Garcia) and classroom assistant (Ms. Elizabeth) are excellent and very caring. The best part of the school is that they develop kids academically and socially - they also have excellent events. I am very happy here.

Sunflowers Academy has been a blessing for our family. After a very bad experience at a previous school, seeing my son come home happy from school has meant so much to us. This year, he had Ms. Perdomo for kindergarten and we couldn’t be happier. She always keeps us informed on how he’s doing and engages all her students so that they don’t just learn but enjoy doing so. My son has learned so much. He’s reading so well and is eager to learn new things. He is sad to leave kindergarten as he wants her to be his teacher again, which says a lot. Very grateful for Ms. Perdomo. She is the definition of an educator and her love for teaching shows.

Great school! This year my son was lucky to have Mrs. Perdomo as his kindergarten teacher. She has been wonderful, attentive and truly cares for the kids. She has done an amazing job these last couple of months with all the unexpected changes and challenges.

My son has been attending this school since he was in Pre-K and is currently ending 4th grade and Im definitely pleased. The whole administration is very attentive, helpful and the best part which I love is that they know each child by their names. Ms. Oropeza and Ms. Sosa are one of the best teachers, so dedicated and engaged with both the student and the parents, always willing to give that extra time in explaining and helping out the students. I highly recommend Sunflowers Academy.

My daughter has been in this academy since the last scolar year when I enrolled her in VPK now she is in Kindergarten, with Ms. Perdomo, she is a very dedicated and loving teacher, the children quickly become attached to her, they respect her very much and they love her, she is very involved in the childrens learning, she helps them a lot to learn, in a fun way, the curriculum she has is a little advanced, but I know that my daughter will be prepared to start the first grade very easily, since she has learned a lot with the teacher. She also has PE with Mr. Barrios, he has also helped my daughter find the exercise fun since she did not like it at all. The Spanish teacher Ms. Trujillo has also been part of my daughters learning, thanks to her my daughter knows more Spanish than before. The only bad thing I have found at this academy is the parking, since there are not many options and it is a bit frustrating to find parking in the morning. The staff is very helpful, and sweet, they help as much as they can and try to do best for the kids.

My daughter has been in Sunflowers Academy since she was 2 yrs. old it was the best decision I made. The staff and teachers are very friendly and professional. This year her teacher was Ms. Garcia whenever I had any questions or worries she was there to answer them. I feel Ms. Garcia did a great job in preparing her for middle school. My son is almost done with Kindergarden at Sunflower Acafemy with Ms. DellAmico, and I never imagined he would be so happy. His teacher is soo carrying, and makes sure all students are caught up, and exited about class.Sunflowers Is the perfect school to have you kids grow, learn and be exited to learn everyday!

My God son goes here and I have to say that its a GREAT school. The staff goes above and beyond for students and parents. Theres always a line of communication between his teachers and his parents (including myself). Great curriculum and activities for students. Another plus is that my God son is officially bilingual, he cant fluently speak Spanish but he does fully understand. With that being said my God son is getting a great education a long with free Spanish lessons! ❤❤

My child has been attending this school for almost a year now and it has been nothing but a great experience for both me and her. They faculty and staff are very friendly and seem to genuinely care about my daughters overall well being and push her to meet her academic and social goals. Sunflowers Academy if not the best, its high up in the top 5 in Miami Dade County. The security system they have implemented makes it impossible for anyone to break in. The students are safe and every teacher and staff treats the children with respect. As in any other school there are some students that really excel in their academics ( specially those whos parents are on top of their kids education), and others that are not as proficient. However, the teachers are so awesome that even stay after work hours to make sure those students that are a little behind catch up with the class. I love this school, and everybody I talk to shares the same feeling.

Best decision I have made for my children! My kids have been attending this school for 4 years now and I have nothing but excellent comments to say. When I was looking for a school, I wanted something small, where my kids would receive one-on-one attention, clean, and caring environment. I found Sunflowers Academy and thought I would give it a try, at least for the VPK year of my first child. Four years later, my three kids are now in school, I love the facility and most importantly the faculty.This year, their teachers (Ms. Arguello, Ms. Loddi, Ms. Soto, and Ms. Trujillo) are absolutely AMAZING! They are attentive, caring, patient, and simply excellent. My kids LOVE going to school! They love their teachers. They are always on top of how the kids are feeling, how they have been behaving, etc. They provide me with constant feedback. It is great to leave my children in the hands of these amazing professionals who genuinely care for my kids.I have to mention that during this crazy pandemic we had to continue the school teachings from home. Needless to say that the teachers continued to be very attentive, detailed on their explanations, and mostly, extremely patient with all the parents and their challenges with computers.My little one who has not started the school is anxious to start based on all the great comments she hears from the other two! The school is clean. The staff is great and caring. The classes have anywhere between 20-30 children per class. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a school in this area!

Hello this is my second year in this school. It was highly recommended by a family member and so far I’ve had a good experience. I have three kids 2 Girls ages 13 and 9 and a boy of 6 they are all together which is a relief for me. I don’t have the stress of having to deal with so much. I’m thankful of being able to be part of Sunflowers Academy School. My oldest daughter is in 7th grade this year, my second daughter in 3rd and my boy in KD. They all have excellent Teachers this year. MS.XIOMARA CABRERA for 7th Grade she is great, very attentive I love that we can communicate with each other for the best interest of my daughter school achievements. As well as for Ms. MERCEDES SOSA a great teacher she’s lovable attentive and has teaching standards high. My daughter loves her to death to me that is Gold and also means that she has a great teacher that motivates her. Last but not least MS. PERDOMO a Great teacher she communicates good with parents always hands out the schools activities in time she keeps us as parents on track. My Son is happy with her and he has learn a lot with her before this year he couldn’t Speak well yet and ever since he’s been with her he speaks very good he communicates so good he’s reading has improve. It has been a great experience for my son and my family (8 years and counting). We are very grateful with the school; the teachers and the administration staff have been awesome all these years. Y no es una escuela q se preocupa por el bulling De la algunos estudiantes.. cuando comparas esta escuela con una pública es mejor la publica q está escuela por q se preocupan mas por los estudiantes en todos los aspectos esta escuela se enfoca más en ellos q en los estudiantes . Pésima no recomiendo esta escuela internamente trabajan mal

A great school. Once you leave your child it is a peace of mind. Teaching is in accordance with Florida standards. Students if they follow the directions of the teachers finish at their grade level. The teachers always taking care of the students, the Administration always open to parents and students. I recommend this school that is unique.

All the teachers are very good and very special. But Sandra Cabrera is an excellent teacher. She cares a lot for her students and for her well-being, and maintains communication with all parents in order to improve the education of the children and the environment in the class. Today was my daughters first day. I am very happy to meet and grateful to the vpk teachers. Well, my daughter stayed crying like many other students although I got a little sad I was very calm to see the teachers with her so dedicated work for the students. Many thanks to the vpk teachers.

The school is very good, teachers and teachers excellentes, very busy students I recommend them all and Mr. Jamal is excellent in controlling the discipline.

Mrs Sosa is the best teacher my girl has ever had, I really like her teaching method and the love and affection she uses so that they take the message by complementing her class, diverse methods through games where teaching is longer in the life of the child, well communicative with parents and always willing to help.

Personally the experience has been very good I have two children since I am 8 years old in the academy the atmosphere is very calm I feel comfortable with all the staff the teacher of one of my children this year was very special miss.
