My son really enjoy these classes, instructors are amazing and take the time to get to know everyone on a genuine level.

Professor and all of the instructors are very patient but firm. Great environment for children to learn new lessons and how to apply in life. Family oriented and you will become part of the SFS family!

Have been training/ competing with/ at SFSMMA for over 11 years. Tis thy home away from home. Everyone is cool, helpful and inviting, giving it a Family atmosphere. All of the coaches are Awesome and well experienced. Highly recommend to anyone.

So when my My daughter first started here at SfsMMA she was super shy didn’t know anything with the support of the coaching staff it was amazing they told her so much in a littleShe made some new friends they helped her come out of her shell it was a great experience for us and I would recommend them highly for kids and adults sucks that we have to stop going because we are moving but sensi and Joe Abigail will not forget y’all thank you very much

As one of the students that goes here this place is really great. There are many classes such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. The coaches are very good to work with and make sure you develop the skills you need.

I was pretty nervous my first week but coaches AND students in the Muay Thai class are very supportive and provide help in learning new skills. Experienced students and beginners are separated and blended at other times to enhance everyones learning. My wife and I are happy to have joined.

After a 1 week free trial, I was sold. Signed up for the all access pass! The coach and his team hold great knowledge in multiple disciplines and are great at bringing out the inner beast in everyone that comes here.

Its a great community to get into. Especially on your down time. I highly recommend it for people who are afraid of confrontation or have skeletons in the closet.

Ive been training here for 15mos, and its been excellent. The coaches are patient and helpful, and Professor Salangsang is the real deal. I came in concerned about my age and my history of injuries from the military and firefighting. Everyone has been cool with showing me alternate techniques to accommodate. Im down almost 50lbs and havent been this mobile in years.Ive been to several open mats in the area, and theyve all been great - but I would choose SFS over all of them.

The instructors are typically late and will not tell you ahead of time... If the instructors miss no one notifies you not is the time made up... Recently they changed the time of the boxing without consulting anyone of the change... Other days you have instructors subbing for other instructors that lack motivation to teach a class... Then on other days no instructor so the kids run the class...

Mma at its finest. Love the family.

If youre looking for quality training, and professional training from coaches and teachers that are well equipped and knowledgeable in optimization of the human mind and body then this is the place. The caliber of talent and the authenticity of the training system is incredible this is a phenomenal place that I thank God for this place. Since my first day Ive been welcomed with arms wide open everybodys been patient with me and my growth. Theres no better form of therapy than what I receive by being able to pour out my heart every time I step on those mats for training.

Kids not being made to bring all their gear such as headgear and mouth pieces makes it harder for the kids that brings all their gear to learn appropriately. The coach is great and does the best he can with what they bring but we all pay and want our kid to get the most out of. Been coming here for a long time now and the changes are not for the better. Seating is awful. My son has gained lots of confidence throughout his time here and trust the coach in his teachings so I do not want to switch gyms.

Bought my son a few classes here. One bad experience after another, but today was the last straw. The intructor called my child lazy... Didnt have his GI in his size days after i ordered it. Not professional... Wont be going back. If i could rate zero stars i would.

I cant say enough about these wonderful people ! They genuinely love the kids ! Professor teaches with encouragement and love. When one of them cries or has a problem he sits everyone down and talks to them about winning and losing like a great Father would do. And everyone loves Joe hes so cool !! Being here has given my son such confidence !!! I just wish I wouldve found this place sooner ! Do your kids a favor...take them here !!

Best Local Gym, Great energy, Great people.

They changed the times of classes and notified parents ONE week before. The changed times did not work for me and my family and they charged my card 70 dollars to cancel my membership due to last minute changes by the gym!! That wasn’t fair at all. Left messages about the issue and owner still has yet to get back with me. Now they dont even answer the phone! I would not recommend this gym. The boxing classes are one hour and they exercise for 40 of those 60 minutes! The lady owner is very rude and unprofessional and only cares about getting paid! August 10 2019. This is a real time review! Try UFC gym instead!!!!!....after leaving my review the owner did reach out to resolve my issue! I just wish they were better at communicating.

My name is crystal i am 25 years old...my experience here was amazing, i went for a month just to try it out..the coach and his wife were so friendly and the coach is so good . if I didnt understand a skill, he will help me until I finally got it.. he was also very respectful. I will surely go back again. I felt very welcoming and everyone was very friendly. all the guys were also respectful.

The program is great and the staff is friendly, the facility is always clean and the coaches are really helpful with the kids and take their time. Unfortunately I feel that the kids classes have gotten so big that it makes it difficult for the coaches to watch over the kids. Due to the big class there isnt enough room in the lobby for all the parents to observe the kids.My kids had only been going for a month and one of my kids confidence was getting a lot better with every class but in their last class one of my kids was in a choke hold and was tapping out but another kid wasnt letting go of the hold. my kid sustained petechial on her face and spooked her about being in that situation to where she is being choked and no one is watching her.I believe thats due to such a big class it difficult for the coaches to catch something like that.Again the the program, facility and staff are amazing but I think the classes are too big. I would definitely put my kids back in the program if the classes were a bit smaller.

Signed my nephew, who has a slight learning disability, up for classes after he went to 1 free class. A week later I hear that the Wednesday kids instructor called him lazy and then proceeded to do nothing when the other kids started teasing him. That is not what martial arts stands for. Also, some of the parents where snickering at him as he was trying to learn something new and how to stand up for himself. So shameful. Would not recommend.

Very informative and fun! I am in the Jiu Jitsu class and it is everything I was hoping for. Extremely reasonable prices as well. If you break down the cost it comes out to be $11 per session. Professor Salangsang is the real deal! Come with an open mind and a student mentality!

Well, classes are way too big, there is literally NO WHERE to sit while your child is training, beginners and advanced kids are merged together. not sure how that is beneficial when kids are on different levels and staff was unprofessional and sometimes unmotivated. glad we are no longer using this facility. I only gave ONE star to be able to leave a review.

I joined for a while, while I was staying at my dads in mesquite, and I loved the experience I got here. The sensei is truly trying to give you your moneys worth and all the other students make you feel at home. This is one big family and the price is incredible. Ive yet to find another gym like this and hope I can.

This is one of the best gyms Ive been too, the coaches are really involved in your training and the people here are super friendly and fun to be around. I will definitely continue training here!

Such a great place I was looking for something that was a little more fun than the Gym and I definitely got that and more here. Coach Salangsang is really great and so are all the members, every one really is family here.

Where to start!! This place is life changing. It has been so much more to me than just an mma gym. I’ve been here for only 6 months and I’ve improved so much already in my martial arts and as a person! High level jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing but also has a great structure for beginners. The kids classes are amazing as well there’s a lot of legit little warriors! Full of great people who I call family now!

Class act! Im so happy to have found this dojo. After years of searching and trial and error Ive finally found a dojo where the trainers all share the same passion and respect for the art. Anthony is very knowledgeable and extremely skilled at his craft and has mastered several different disciplines. He takes his time with each individual pupil to make sure they are comfortable. He teaches the youth something that is lacking in society today.... Respect. I was very impressed by the way he treated his pupils.Great place for kids and adults, beginners or pros. My son has been training in this facility since Aug 2016, and has learned so much since. Awesome atmosphere. After I learned the basic, they helped me build a Jiu-Jitsu game that works for me and my body, everyone else was copy me and thats all. Professor Salangsang is one of the top teachers in the Country, with actual Black Belts in multiple Marshall arts, giving him a perspective that not a lot of people have.

MAN....... the atmosphere in this dojo in phenmoninal. I went for my first time just recently and it was the biggest mistake i have ever made. now I caught the Jiu Jitsu bug and can not stop going. Anthony Salangsang is a great coach and I look forward to many many years of training with this team
