Thank you so much master Park! My son saw that some of his friends are visiting karate lessons, so he wanted it too, you know how the kids are, so I let him visit martial arts lessons in Park’s Martial Arts academy. Initially I thought that he will pass several lessons and will lose interest, but exactly the opposite, his passion is increasing after every next lesson. Thank you so much for making my boy happy.

I have recently moved to Mesquite, TX and one of the first thing to do was to find a reliable martial arts academy. Im interested of martial arts since I was little kid. And now I could say that Park’s Martial Arts academy can be compared t the best martial arts academies in the state. I love it!

If this is not the best martial arts academy in the area, then it is one of the best. The atmosphere there predisposes you to feel relaxed and mentally free of the everyday stress. Its a cool place and master Park is the best.

Ive been studying martial arts with Master Park as an adult student for over a year now, and its been such a positive experience.Im sweaty and exhausted after every class. Hes a challenging teacher, who works hard to make every class a positive experience. He certainly seems to know his stuff, and pushes everyone hard - yet he also creates a good balance by being funny and affectionate with everyone as well. With the kids, hes excellent in every way. He plays with them, but never lets them off the hook if they slack off.I recommend him very, very highly to anyone whos thinking about either enrolling their children, or challenging themselves as adults.

5 Star: tony r. Am 48 years old now, and I enrolled into Mr Parks Martial arts Studio, to kind of like kill some time, but I notice started to kill all my bad habits, and with it my sugar, cholesterol, stress and back pain levels, I couldnt believe it my self that in just a few weeks into working out I noticed lots of changes in me and my clothes too sizes of course and little by little getting in class realized I have gained a new family. TAEKWONDO family. Mr Park always doing the best to get us up there BLACK BELT! I know he works really hard to make me better at it. And with this little time that I have in the studio since I enrolled came to know Mr Parks with all his 8 degree Black Belt Master which is not easy I just got my White II and my body is all sore I just cant imagine how far and how long it takes to get this; which is one of my reasons to look up to him is my teacher. Great with all children, very patience with teenagers specially well I won say names!, always willing to teach us his techniques; and by God his window says you will learn self defense, self discipline, AND BELIEVE ME SELF CONFIDENCE. So much to say in a little space and time, but I feel so good with my self now that Ive got couple of my family members in class as well. they dont 10 stars rating other wise would give him the 10 stars! In 4 weeks into Mr Park Martial Arts gained me a six pack. You too should try just to see how about 9 weeks would do to your self. GOD BLESS YOU!

My girls started with Master Parks Taekwondo years ago in California at ages 3 and 4. After a few years we had to move away. Traveled many different states and tried other Masters and none compared to Master Park. Last year we moved to Texas and found Master Park again. My daughters were so happy to be back with him. He teaches respect before anything else. I took my son, who has ADHD, and explained the problem to Master Park. My son was really out of control at 9 years old. After a few weeks we noticed a huge change in my son, no medicine required. He is able to control his anger and stress a lot better. Best decision that I have ever made. My oldest daughter now goes everyday, and is headed for black belt. My younger daughter with medical problems still attends and all he requires is for her to do the best she can. He always has a smile on his face, for students and parents. Its not about the fighting, its about control, respect, and positive attitude.Master Park is the best studio for anyone, and best yet the 1st class is free.

After the first couple of classes, I can say that Grand-master Park teaches authentic Korean martial arts. I have been looking for a Hapkido class for my son and I since our former instructor moved to another state. Since our first conversation I noticed that he knew exactly what Hapkido was including his descriptions of the drills and skills as well as techniques of the art. I noticed since we have started that he is very good breaking down the skills and teaching them step by step. Even thought their some things I miss from my past Hapkido class, I have witnessed that Grand-master Park has really helped me with my falls and back rolls as well.

About two years ago my son Andy was receiving occupational therapy for symptoms indicative of a sensory processing disorder. His therapist recommended he become involved in some type of sport. I was wary about a team sport where there is so much emphasis on winning. I saw an ad for taekwondo at Master Parks studio in Mesquite and thought that might be perfect- he could go at his own pace. We took Andy and his older brother, Gabriel, to try it out and they loved it! We checked out some other studios as well, but no one could compete with Master Parks qualifications and ability to work with children. He has the perfect combination of discipline and structure with humor and tons of patience- which is great for Andy. During one of Andys tests to move to a higher belt I remember holding back tears- I was so proud of him and what he was able to accomplish despite his struggles- and more importantly, he was so proud of himself! His balance and motor skills have improved tremendously and he no longer needs occupational therapy- he is within normal limits! His brother, Gabriel, has really come out of his shell and gained a great deal of confidence from learning taekwondo- he will most likely test for black belt by the end of the year! He has been involved in competitions with Master Parks studio and that has helped him to learn how to perform under pressure and do his best which Im sure will prepare him for other life situations. I also appreciate the fact that Master Park is Korean and the boys are exposed to another culture/language- I think that is important. Ill never forget when Andy was having a hard time with something and he told me, Well, you know what Master Park says...Never give up! I really cant say enough about the impact Master Park and his dojang have had on my boys- Im so glad we found him!

Grand Master Park is one of a kind instructors. I suffer from 2 herniated disk, mild spinal bifida and cerebral palsy. A condition that affects body movement and muscle coordination as well as memory.I have been though over 12 surgeries including heart surgery by age 20. I was told to be grateful I could walk. For lack of nothing better to do I went with a friend to try a class. Our class is different from kid class or regular tkd classes. He has us doing a workout around TKD. Master Park has changed not only how I look at myself bit how I feel about myself. He has a challenge on his hands with me. He didnt take pity on me he makes me work hard. When I want to quit he always tells me one more one more, without knowing I have just done 20 kicks, or situps. After a few classes I noticed I went a whole night without one spasm, after over 8 yrs of having them every night. My pain is less, and I spend less time at the chiropractor now. While there is no cure for me I believe by taking classes with Master Park has helped me more in the past few weeks with posture and motor skills and balance than anything else I have tried. I cant wait to see what the next few weeks bring. He always has a smile on his face and seems happy to see the kids. He never yells at the kids never yells at me for not remembering how my hand or foot should be. But does expect you to try your best.He has said some students learn faster than others but they all get there in the end. My goal to get to the end!If I can do this anyone can do this. Dont use your disability as a excuse. Make it your reason to try harder.Thank you Grand Master Park
