Freedom JJ is an amazing school for all levels of people who want to train jiu jitsu. Steve creates a friendly environment so people new to the sport would feel very comfortable starting out. All instructors are very knowledgeable so you will learn good techniques and be challenged. There is a good mixture of skill levels from black belts to brand new white belts, so no matter your skill set you will have people to grapple with. I highly recommend this school to all levels of practitioners

Stopped in to Freedom while visiting the area. Steve’s instruction in class was top notch and the entire gym made me feel welcomed. As far as training partners and overall general attitude of the training partners Freedom BJJ is the place to be you can find any skill level there on a regular basis; with alternating Gi-NoGi class schedule in the morning and at night Sunday-Friday there is never an issue for me finding time to train. Whether you’ve never trained or have been training for 10 years you will learn a lot from Professor Steve Kaloustian. Oh yea everyone also gets full access to top of the line workout equipment at the adjoining CrossFit gym with a membership.

Sensei Steve is hands down one of the best BJJ practitioner around. Top notch techniques each class, Gi or No-Gi, not stuff off YouTube.I cannot say enough how extremely skilled yet down-to-earth Sensei Steve is. Everyone in the school is friendly and its a great atmosphere regardless of your rank (belt). Not only am I learning, Im having fun too!
