After 20 years in Taekwondo, I recognize the degree of talent and expertise it takes to teach kids effectively, and Yes I Can Martial Arts has mastered that, especially in the virtual platform! From two time zones away Master Gilbert has motivated my son and daughter to take ownership of their work-outs while at the same time adjusting to each student’s (very different) personalities.She has instilled an increased sense of discipline in my son, while teaching daughter precise techniques that have her looking sharp and feeling confident in her new green belt.... all via Zoom!

I love Master Gilbert. This place is wonderful. The price is great for what all you get. There are 3 classes a day to choose from she teaches 4 to 5 times a week. They have special parents nights out once a month too. She teaches the kids not only martial arts but the art of life as well. How to get along with and respect others while still respecting themselves. How to recognize peer pressure and not give into it. Most importantly my kid loves it and loves her.

My son (6yo) loves Master Gilbert and I enjoy the environment that she provides at Yes I Can. Master Gilbert does a great job connecting with students and recognizing their learning styles. She then tailors her teaching style to help each student succeed in Taekwondo and in life. Respect, confidence, and pride are some of lessons that I have observed Master Gilbert teach during her classes. Master Gilbert does a great job mixing in different activities during the week causing the day to day lessons not to become mundane. My son has been attending Yes I Can for approximately six month and looks forward to seeing his friends each class.

I love going here! Ive made a lot of friends here, and the way Master Gilbert dealt with the Coronavirus. I love Taekwondo now. You should tell your kids to go here.!

Master Gilbert is really great at teaching martial arts to all age groups. She is very motivating. I recommend her class to everyone who wants to learn Tar Kwon Do.

Yes I Can Martial Arts is a great taekwondo school! There are 3 classes offered Monday through Thursday so there are options to fit every schedule. Saturday is a dedicated sparring day where the students can apply their kicking techniques using protective gear in a controlled and safe environment. Master Gilbert is wonderful with the kids! She teaches the kids leadership skills and respect towards everyone. She is patient and encouraging while expecting hard work from her students. My kids love Master Gilbert and this taekwondo school! #everydayimkickingit
