We just took our 3 year old to try Team Wise for the very first time. We loved the atmosphere and Charlie made a new friend if not a few. He loved it so much he did not want to leave.

I’ve been here over 5years now and everyday I am here pushes me to be the best version of myself. The coach’s inspiring way of teaching moves you to focus on the details, and you have fun doing it! Coach Wise and Riley have not only opened their arms to me but have also treated me like family. Everyone always wants the best for me and pushes me in the best ways. Our son and daughter have had a great experience training in Brazilian jiu jitsu at Team Wise. While the main focus is BJJ, and the kids competition class is one of the best on the west coast, they also have enjoyed the cardio/exercise classes and MMA classes they have to offer. Its been a great fit for our family.There are a lot of schools near me that we looked at but Team Wise has been the best fit. The fact that they have the best kids competition team in Seattle also doesnt hurt. Check it out.

The coaches, people and training at Tim Wise Training Center are beyond amazing. The coaches are the very best Ive ever had the good fortune to train with. They take a personal interest in each and every student and give them the best training theyll ever receive. And more than just a gym, they have created a true family where we each care for each other, work hard together and expect the best of ourselves and the great people we train with.

I had never tried martial before coming here, but have now been attending for nearly two years and the experience has improved me in a variety of ways.

We have been members for 8 years. In that time I’ve seen countless lives changed for the better. Aric and his son Riley are not only world class coaches, but also world class people. It’s a family environment where it’s not uncommon for kids and parents to both workout in the gym. It’s perfect if you just want to get in shape or if you want to compete at the highest level.

I chose this place out of its convenient location not realizing I was going to get some of the best Jiu Jitsu training around. My son despite being the quiet type took to the environment right away. The coaches made him and my family very welcome. The training experience is excellent and it is noticeable when you see it against other well known establishments. My son brought home 2 golds on a 6-0 record with 6 submissions after training for about 6 months. The difference is the intensity at which the kids train but still manage to have fun. The coaches get to know the kids on an individual level and partner with the parents who make themselves available to get the most out of the experience. Even the most minor details are celebrated as the kids develop because they are so important to the grand scheme. My daughter has joined after watching the class as well as her brothers development. She is a multi sport athlete and the strength that this has developed for her other sports is amazing. This place is great if you want the best in instruction, conditioning and performance in competition or just a place to learn self defense, build confidence, and get in shape.

Phenomenal gym full of killers. The kids are all world class, well disciplined, and a great influence. Me, my wife and our 3 boys were welcomed in by everyone, as the family run atmosphere is very inclusive. This place has a humble learning environment that is also extremely competitive in nature.

My 2 boys have been out of contact sports for a couple years because of unexpected life events. But there is no better place than this gym to return to. The Coaches are highly skilled mixed martial arts trainers and we highly recommend anyone who wants to learn fighting skills to try out Team Wise Gym.

Instructors are great and very friendly and professional.good space and clean.had some issues with the contract but was able to resolve it .will be going there again after my personal things are resolved

The gym ans people where nice enough. But when i seriously hurt myself and was out of work i kept my membership for a couple months. But when i was having trouble making ends meet and making rent i asked if i could cancel. They insited i fulfill the term until completion or pay a several hundred dollar cancellation and where very rude an unsympathetic. The OWNER said he had no power to absolve meI ended up cancelling my card and taking out loans so i could pay rent and by food. And ive just found they sent me to collections. I understand i made an agreement, but i was a member their for two years almost and its really outputting to be treated like a number without empathy. Would not recommend going here.

Has a great family feel stemming from mixed parents/kids classes. Tues-Sat class is typical broken up with an hour of skills work, typically drilling a series or family of moves. The last 30 minutes is usually rolling in a tournament format. This help those going to tournaments immensely. Mondays is no-gi rolling.

This place seemed great and was close enough to Mill Creek for my nephew and I to take Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. Martial arts have always been an interest but it seems a lot of schools we visited didnt seem like they were teaching the same as here. Looking forward to taking some MMA and kickboxing classes as well as BJJ.

I can not begin to tell you how great this gym is. Coach A Wise and Coach Riley are not only a few of the greats in the mixed martial arts world, but are even more incredible people. They both offer constant support on and off the mat, and keep class challenging and rewarding. For starters, they have one of the best kids jiu-jitsu programs in the country, but what separates this gym from others is the family environment. Many parents started as observers and are now side by side working out with their kids. Coach Aric is my 12 year olds best friend and is a true mentor. Best coaching, best facilities, best families, you cant go wrong.

Team Wise MMA is the best gym Ive ever been to. Coaches Aric and Riley Wiseman have been around the combat sports world for a long time and it shows. They both have extensive knowledge and an uncanny ability to take ANY person, of ANY skill level, at ANY age and tailor a teaching style to help them learn, progress, and give them the confidence they need to succeed.The coaches are incredibly respectful and work hard for anyone willing to put in the time and effort. Once youre apart of the team theres a real sense of family and community unlike anything Ive ever experienced. If youre looking to learn jiu jitsu, learn to strike or just work out Team Wise is the perfect place to be for kids and adults.

This place is fantastic for several reasons.First its not a money pit like the Tae Kwon Do gyms are turning into. You are not going to get promoted just so you can pay for belt testing. You get promoted because you earned it.Second, this place has the most competitive kids team in the Pacific Northwest and wins the majority of tournaments by a large margin.Your children will learn valuable skills both for self-defense and in life. Hardwork is rewarded, kids are pushed and feel good when they achieve success. They are held accountable and are taught never to cheat or look for shortcuts. Also dont be surprised if you see a kid teaching adults, they are that goodI trained here and so does my daughter. There is no other place I would let her train. She is more disciplined and confident now that she is a student here.Your membership here gets you access to weight training, endurance and conditioning classes, jiu jitsu, kick boxing and mma.I could go on but overall its just a wonderful place.

Amazing classes and staff! Alderwoods staff offers some of the best advice and coaching on technique that I have ever seen and are always warm and welcoming. They are great about answering questions, helping you find the classes and membership that best fits your needs, and are very in tune with where you are at and helping you set AND reach goals for where you want to be. I have trained with the coaching staff at both this location and their Shoreline location and have always found that the classes are structured in a way that the person who has been there for 6 years -or- the person just walking in today can jump right in and no one is left unchallenged or overwhelmed. They also offer an amazing childrens jiu-jitsu program that helps young kids to succeed in the sport too. The time and effort that this coaching staff pours into our youth is unmatched. Both of my sons attend these classes and the change seen in them since starting here is remarkable. It is a merit based program that follows the same guidelines as the IBJJF, and the students training here pour everything they have into it. Their coaching staff does a fantastic job with the curriculum for every class they offer and they are warm, friendly and inspiring to their students. Definitely a place that feels like home and becomes like family.

I train at Shoreline MMA (Alderwood MMA is owned and operated by the same people) and I recommended AMMA to one of my co-workers a few months ago. He wanted to get his kids into a new sport so I told him about Coach Wise and the Shoreline/Alderwood locations. Ive watched Coach Wise run kids BJJ classes and hes amazing with them. Turns out that not only did my co-workers kids love the classes, my co-worker decided to start training, too. I think that says a lot about AMMA and about how Coach Wise runs his gyms. If you live near Alderwood and want to train, I cant recommend it enough. Coach Wise and his staff are highly skilled, experienced, friendly and fun. It doesnt matter if your goal is to compete, get in shape or have fun training, Coach Wise and his staff treat you like family.
