I absolutely love Summerlin KinderCare! I communicated often with the director Kashmir and Alex - the supervisor who greeted me daily at pickup and drop off. Alex made sure to introduce myself and my sister in law (whose daughter was also in toddler/waddled class) to all the teachers and our favorite teachers Ms Joanna and Ms Rachel are so sweet, kind and attentive to all the children. They take 3-5 pics and videos of our babies daily with detailed captions on their daily learning and activities. My daughter and niece LOVED daycare and LOVED their teachers.My niece Raven has a lot of food allergies so Judy the dietician was sure to greet my sister in law and go over her food allergies and accept our food from home if the meal schedule had allergic food.All of the staff treat our babies as individuals with love and care. You can see them reaching them art, crafts, building and songs daily on the videos of the KinderCare app. It also has a detailed report of bathroom, nap times, and food eaten.Alex the supervisor always let me know of any incidents (there were only two in six months) such as my daughter bumped her chin - which she called me immediately about, my daughter’s diaper rash - which resolved quickly (cream always applied during changes).

Our 18 month old daughter has been at KinderCare Summerlin for 4 months and we couldn’t be happier! Every morning she grabs her shoes and waits by the door because she just can’t wait to go. She’s learned so much thanks to the wonderful teachers in the Waddlers classroom. We love getting pictures and updates in the KinderCare app to see how she’s doing. The first week was a tough transition for her, after being at home with mom and dad for her first year. The staff and teachers made it as easy as possible on all of us. After her first week she was laughing and smiling running in the door every morning. We’re so grateful to have a place that takes such great care of her!

The KinderCare team has been so amazing. We feel blessed to have our kids in such good hands. Each member of the staff has gone above and beyond to provide the best quality of care to the children and keep a line of direct communication with the parents. Ms. Kashmir and Alex have done such a great job keeping everyone safe through the pandemic.

My son has been in this school for almost two years now and I am happy with it so far. Great quiet location and atmosphere feels like home. Its very small school which I love. Every teacher and stuff member knows each student and patents. My son loves his teachers in his class and I can see improvements in his education every day. Special shout out to the new school director Kashmir. This women works and knows how to make everything better. Constantly improving, making easy to communicate with the management and just overall on top of everything. Very impressed with the way she runs the school. Also the app that parents can see daily updates, schedule, menu and childs pictures is so convenient and makes everything better. Thank you Summerlin KinderCare.

Our 11-month old son loves it at Summerlin KinderCare. My husband and I have been impressed with the infant/toddler teachers since our initial tour. The way they engaged with the children was the primary reason we opted to enroll here in the first place. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the level of care and engagement has not diminished. KinderCare provides our son with opportunities to learn through thoughtfully designed lessons (e.g., the teacher froze toys so the class could learn about cold), outlets for creative expression (today he got to tie-dye a t-shirt), and plenty of space and toys for play. Its no surprise hes happy to be back at KinderCare, rather than stuck at home 24-7. The staff also have been very serious about safety, taking numerous measures to mitigate risks during the pandemic. Finally, they communicate with parents. I love getting daily photos and updates through the KinderCare app. In addition, we get regular emails from the director and are encouraged to meet with the teachers as needed.

An amazing preschool. They really care about the students and it shows in everything they do. Theyve also put a lot of covid precautions into place which help ease concerns.

All 3 of our children have gone to Summerlin KC at some point over the past 5 years. The staff is loving, understanding and flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of each individual. My oldest just started Kindergarten this fall and she is well ahead of other students in her class and the transition to Kinder was so easy for her. The downside is that in more recent years they have moved teachers around a lot (same teachers, their retention is awesome and worth noting) but that has been a pain point but I guess is pretty normal in the day care world. This center is really great, my children are loved and well taken care of and I never worry about them.

Very happy customer. We have been using this KinderCare for around four years at this point and the staff is wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make sure that all the children feel special. They do not rely on TVs or jumpers to entertain the kids, instead they engage the kiddos in activities that help them learn and develop.

The quality of the school reflects on the teachers and the quality of the teachers reflect on the children. I put my son here a few months before and I can see positive changes in his behavior. He is excited to go to school unlike the previous school. Teachers know each and every kid in the class and give their attention to them. I love this school for the way they host activities for kids. A good friend had her son here and found out a teacher hit him. They took care of the problem but still allow uncertified teachers to aid in classrooms. For the amount of money you pay in tuition you would think you would get top notch staff.

Director Nancy is great. She’s come to know my family well, and we respect her ownership had leadership at the center. All the teachers are compassionate to what they do. My kids are safe and happy here.

I have loved every care giver my daughter has had so far. They have all been extremely caring towards her and reach out if anything ever seems off.

Both of our children have attended Kindercare Summerlin. Nancy was very engaged with and knowledgeable about our childrens development. She was very instrumental in facilitating advanced development for our son and now our daughter. We are grateful for the care and love all the teachers, Nancy, Carol and Danielle have shown them. Our baby girl’s name is Emerald. She has been at Summerlin KinderCare part time for about a year. We’ve experienced the nursery room, and now the pre-toddler room.WELCOMING… We visited a few daycares. Another daycare had the vibe of “We are full & you must beg us to have a chance at coming here” lol. They wouldn’t even do a tour until the end of the year. In contrast, KinderCare let us know they are fairly full & but they would love for us to apply and be a part of their community.SECURITY… They have a locked front door with an entry code. In the past year, they’ve changed it 4 times. And always have someone up front watching who comes in & out.HEALTH… Emerald got pink eye from a family friend (not from KinderCare). The front office was empathetic and felt bad for Emerald, while also kindly let us know that we needed a doctor’s clearance before returning. Was inconvenient, but grateful that have high standards to protect the kids.INTEGRITY… A couple of times, the teacher gave me a form to say Emerald had a boo-boo. My first reaction was worried, but after looking at her, I couldn’t even tell. They could have just not mentioned anything. It speaks to their integrity & professionalism.FLEXIBLE… In the nursery, we had some unique requests that the teachers were accommodating with. Food preferences, time between feedings, trying to ween off of thumb sucking. They were helpful with everything, and never made us feel crazy lol.FUN & LEARNING… They have a schedule of reading times, play times, mealtimes, interactive learning. Emerald loves it all, especially because she gets bored easily at home with the same toys. Emerald learned how to walk within 1-2 weeks of entering the pre-toddler room. My guess is seeing all the other kids walking, gave her the confidence.CLEANLINESS… Emerald sometimes has dirty clothes, or snotty nose. All normal stuff. If Emerald had a blow-out diaper or unusually large drooling, they would change her to new clothes. If we forgot to leave a spare outfit, they happen to have some spare fresh clothes. Since I’m OCD, I notice everything. And the whole team does a phenomenal job keeping the rooms clean.COMMUNITY… There are diverse kids (and teachers) of all backgrounds & beliefs. I like that for Emerald. There are fun spirit weeks (sports attire, appreciation week), and KinderCare hosts quarterly parties for the families with activities & free food :DSPECIAL THANK YOU… The Summerlin KinderCare team are more than friendly, they love Emerald, which makes us love them. They are our extended family. To the nursery room teachers Hamida, Emily, Jhannelle, Joanna, thank you for caring for Emerald from 6-12 months! To the toddler teachers Shelly, Linda, Dania, Cynthia, thank you for this next stage! My daughter was bitten 6 times by a child attacking her. while under their care. It wasnt until she got home did I find a multitude of bite mark on her arm and leg. I immediately contacted Kindercare and told them what had happened. Their initial response was that were not aware of the attack. A few hours later I brought my daughter down to identify which child had done the attack and also learned it was not the child first time of biting another student there. I then contacted Danielle the schools administrator to see what actions were going to be taken and I was informed that she told me the child who did the biting would not be removed from the school which left me no choice of removing my daughter from to school to avoid a repeat incident which the child did bite someone else just 2 hours later after my report and making my family a victim again by trying to find another school during in session. The policies of Kindercare appear to be toxic to a preschool environment and only adds insult to injury. I have also filed a complaint with the state that issues daycare license. There should be a 0 star for facilities like this.

The director Nancy is complete white trash whack job, this woman lets children leave with complete strangers and allows the facility to have more students than allowed per teacher. Nancy left bruises on my son and spanked him on the bare rear end, I called the corporate office and spoke to a woman name Mary and nothing was done. Former parents have stepped forward with the same concern and this woman is still the director. Your children are in danger and the woman running this flop house is not sane or qualified, just because it is summerlin it dont mean squat. Check the local public court documents you will see this woman has been taken to court for her neglectful and abusive behavior.
