I’m honestly not even doing this for the competition. I’m making this review because this place means so much to me and it’s the least I can do right now. I started going to this dance studio when I was 5 years old. That was 18 years ago. I first started out in Ms. Heather’s ballet class. Then I started taking tap classes and musical theatre classes on top of ballet class. I liked to keep myself busy as a kid. This place was like my family. Ms. Heather and Steve has made a huge impact in my life. I don’t know where I would be now without this dance studio. Ms. Heather shaped me into the woman I am today. She was tough and she made me cry, but it was so necessary. She taught me the discipline I need to not only level up in dance but to level up through life. She taught me to never give up no matter how much it hurts. (And trust me, going on pointe hurt!). I’m sad that I haven’t been going to the adult classes but that’s for my own personal reasons. Ms. Heather always welcomed me into her studio with open arms. And Steve would still call me by my name with his French accent no matter how long I’ve been gone. I know I’ll always have a home and support system in this dance studio. Thanks for all the memories. They were the greatest.

This studio is always professional, always supportive of dancers young and not so young. They have the best teachers, best facilities (spotless, clean, and comfortable), great sound system, reasonable class prices, light and airy rooms, and are ALWAYS friendly. You want Las Vegas entertainment teaching royalty, you come here. They teach all levels, all abilities. Professional dancers and retired pros regularly take class here, so you take with the best in town! Kids love the teachers and the variety of dance styles in the classes. It is definitely a dance family here!

The staff is amazing and makes you feelComfortable and welcomed! My 7 year old daughter loves her hip hop class on Friday’s . She loves her instructor baby Lynn Mazorra!! She’s amazing, she loves teaching the girls and always has a positive and loving attitude. The price is reasonable and affordable. I love this place!

My son has been going to Backstage for 7 years and we are very happy. The teachers are amazing and professional. The owners are also very knowledgeable and create a very warm learning environment for all dance students. This has become our second home and would highly recommend this studio for dance students of all ages.

Ive been going to Backstage Dance studio for longer than I can remember! It has helped me in my career and in my life. It is my lifeline to dancer friends. No one judges you there, so you feel like youre home. They also follow all the protocols of the pandemic and beyond, to ensure the safety of all those who enter through their doors. Their teachers are all professional dancers who performed all over the world. Their knowledge is profound, and they pass that knowledge to all those who take their class. Joan and Steve keep the studio so clean, and show that they care about the health and welfare of all. I cannot recommend this studio more.

My 5 year old daughter LOVES taking classes at Backstage Dance Studio! I love that she has fun while staying physically active, learning new skills, and making new friends :) The staff is amazing and I love how the owners are so welcoming to newcomers - it feels like a cozy home/family

My 6 year old daughter started a ballet/tap/tumble class in September and she loves it! We love her teacher and the flexibility to go to a class on Saturday if she misses the Tuesday class. Thanks!! 💖

Backstage Dance Studio is my favorite place to dance! The owners have invested their lives into the LV dance community, and the teachers have a wealth if info to share. Also, this is one of the few dance studios in town where you can rent space for rehearsals. Its a hidden gem, and we hope its around educating young and old for years to come!

My daughter loves her jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and modern classes. She has been taking classes here for years and improves every year thanks to the wonderful teachers.

The owners have done everything they can to insure everyones safety since the pandemic began. They truly care about everyone that comes into the studio, from their regular students to their studio rentals. Come in and dance with us!

I started at BackStage Dance Studio in 1985. I never stopped going until injuries and illness occurred. It was my home. I was 26 when I got there. I had already been trained in dance and gymnastics but had not yet done a professional show. I had performed in college etc. and competed on a gym team growing up. I took every class there I could daily for a year and a half and finally got a professional job on the strip. From there my dance career took off and I had jobs one after the other. This was from the training I received at Backstage. I had prior training but to perform in levels and the type of shows in Las Vegas and around the world one needed their training. I took from every teacher to get variety of styles. Becuz of this I was able to dance in 9 professional shows of all kinds of styles of dance. And I did conventions of differing styles. The studio had and still has the best teachers and performers in the world! Not kidding. I know because I have taken class in other parts of the world. The best right here. Its a win win situation at Backstage! Give it a try! Also, you can still take classes if you are not a pro dancer and just want to dance. Perfectly ok for this too! It took me 7 months to dare to come back to my favourite studio in Las Vegas. They are doing a super fantastic job to keep the place clean n checking temperature of every single person who enters etc etc...They did everything and more. I felt so safe taking classes here as many other studios are not enforcing safety. Really appreciate the management and teachers here.

Took my first dance class live today since covid started...it was with masks, social distancing & many other precautions. They are doing it right and following all the mandatory steps. It was great to feel the movements that inspire my life. Thank you Angelo & Happy Birthday..Stay safe!!!💃🎶❤😷

Steven Becker, the co-owner and director here at Backstage. This man has absolutely no compassion or regard for anyone other than himself. Case in point...as my girlfriend dropped off a homeless woman were helping to get on her feet down the street from this business, he complained that what we are doing is like feeding feral cats and inferred that they should be put down as such! Excuse me?! What happened to his humanity??? Why should we further disenfranchise those that literally have nothing?! It may be a bit more of a drive, but my daughter LOVED Summerlin Dance studio on Buffalo and Charleston...and the instructors there certainly have much better attitudes than this man!
