We joined the Rock Family in summer 2020. Our daughter was assessed and put into proper dance class levels for the summer program. She thrived and grew so much in such a short period of time under the guidance of the owner and her amazing team of instructors. She is now in her second year and the growth truly is exponential. She seems challenged in all the right ways and the focus on long term development and technique is obvious.Navigating a dance studio thru a pandemic in the manner that this team has should most definitely be noted. They have done an amazing job in unprecedented times. Thank you to The Rock Center for Dance for all you do!

We Love the Rock Center for Dance!!! My daughter started classes at 3 years old and she absolutely loves Ms. Quinn, Ms. Shana and Ms. Maggie. My son started classes at 5 years old and Ms.Quinn has really given him the confidence and mentorship needed to grow as a young dancer. My children have been at the studio for 3 dance seasons and they love their classes and teachers. The staff and teachers have been supportive and very kind. The studio cares about their students and the staff is always in constant communication with parents. The studio did an amazing job through COVID in 2020 and they have always kept us safe and healthy so the kids could do what they do best DANCE! I wouldnt take my kiddos anywhere else, Rock is home.

Let’s just say : THE ROCK COMPLETELY ROCKSI’m proud to say that not only my 2 beautiful daughters dance here, but I myself dance here as well . I’m very grateful to experience such an amazing dance school. If you are serious about dance and are seeking knowledge, talent, and just pure magic, come join The Rock!!My older daughter has been part of the Rock and Rock Company since she was 11 (she’s now 17) and I’m happy to say my 4 year old now follows in her big sissy’s footsteps at The Rock.All the instructors are amazing: Ms Danielle, Ms Susanna, Ms Shana, Ms Jasmine just to name a few . My favorite of course is my lyrical jazz instructor for the Adult class : Mr Shawn HughesI have been dancing with him for many years; I took a long pause at one point bc of motherhood but when I came back he was so welcoming and he’s an amazing dance teacher, full of spirit and life and his teachings are incredible. I learn something magical every dance class, btw I’m 49 years old .Ms Quinn is amazing and is an awesome instructor herself -I’ve taken tap from her and freakin love it … need more beg tap please 😂Sooooo let’s dance !!!!Yours truly, lulu

Im so disappointed in this studio. The front desk girls have no clue what theyre talking about and were very misleading in the classes available for children under 5. I was told my daughter could attend a class at 5pm Tuesdays and Saturday mornings. After one 30 min class I was told she could not do these classes and she would have to attend classes in the middle of a normal work day. They do not have classes available for young children with no dance experience. Do not recommend. They need to offer classes for young children with mothers who work.

The lack of accountability and professionalism this school has is an atrocity. My daughter showed up to the first day all excited went to class and had a good time. My father in law took her the second time. They put my daughter into a random class that she had no idea what was going on or why she was there. Something happend between my daughter and the teacher and my daughter was in tears and cried herself to sleep and felt unwanted and neglected. I dont know what type of teachers they hire that would do this to a 3 year child. This pretty much ruined her love for dance. Thinking of seeking a lawyer and finding out why my daughter was treated so poorly.*after the fact the owner or highest manager called and didnt take any accountability for her staffs lack of communication and faults. Then they tried to have someone record the call while we were on the phone with her. Any nono.100% Run for the hills and do not go here!!!!

My 6 year old daughter loved her class. However my experience as a parent was not great. The lobby can get very busy and the communication is not great. Overall the teachers know what they are doing.

The best dance studio ever, I love it so much. They are very professional and take dance very seriously. I have been here for about 4 years and have had no problem with it.

What an INCREDIBLE dance studio! Quinn is absolutely the BEST, and truly cares about her students and helping them to improve their technique and be the best dancers they can be! We were visitors to the studio, and Quinn and everyone else welcomed us with open arms. Thank you! We appreciate your kindness! Will definitely be back every chance we can. Trying to convince our daughter to spend the summer in Las Vegas so she can attend Rock Center the entire summer.

Often times dance studios really come down to the quality of the instructors. The Rock has great teachers almost always. It can be a little pricey when simply participating for children, but overall it is a very good experience.

Im not sure why people say the teachers are excellent??? Maybe they havent taken dance in LA or NY, where there is actually excellent. This place allows anyone to teach an adult dance class. Which sucks for the adults. The teachers show up late, arent enthusiastic about teaching...no passion. On top of showing up late they make excuses to leave the room during class, and they end the class on time. At least if you are going to show late, could you give students some actual dancing time and stay late? This studio isnt good for adults, dont know about the kids. But I know for adults the teaching skill level and passion is very low. Teachers will also cancel class if not enough students...so thats not pleasant either for those that drive across town and take time out of their day and schedule to get there. Hate to say it but there is a reason why everyone goes to the monthly unlimitited yoga type class/gyms....its reliable, there will be some one teaching and on time for the full class time. Sorry dance studios you ruined dance

Charged me for a class I didn’t attend and never said sorry to me.One day I was sitting at home and I received an email that said thanks for the class today and charged me 15 dollars. I called the dance center and Dakota said I didn’t pay for the class I went to last week. I was like ‘huh??????’ I booked all my classes online by using a 20 class package. I cannot book a class without paying for it. She insisted I took 21 classes not 20. So I came to the office the next day, and Dakota is not there, but another two ladies were. After a long investigation, I found out they printed my name on a class which I didn’t come at all (doesn’t have my initials, all the other classes have my initials and signatures). They gave me a class pass but I refused and got a refund. And they never apologized to me.This case could never happen if :1. Dakota checked the check-in paper carefully to see that my initials were not there.2. Dakota called me to check why they have different records with my records BEFORE they charged me.3. The staff today can say at least one “sorry” to me to admit it’s their fault and their negligence. But they didn’t, one girl just said “it’s your choice to not coming back. There is nothing we can do. I am busy and I have things to do.” I was crying and deeply hurt and she couldn’t say sorry???Btw the teachers there are generally good. I love Nay, the hip hop class and I am sorry Nay I don’t want to come to that place again because of the terrible staff. Every time I had class with Nay I learned a lot and she makes the class so happy.The Jazz dance teacher Shawn, he is professional at dance but a little bit racist. I told him my English name which is easy for him to remember but he always called me ‘China Girl’ and called another lady ‘Japan’ or ‘Tokyo’. I don’t understand why he can remember all the other names but not these two? Very suspicious 😒.

I have rented studio space from the Rock Center several times over the last year for dance photo shoots and each time their staff has been really helpful. The studios are all very nice and well kept and the team there is great at making sure you are setup and good to go.

They have so many fun classes and many different levels! I have taken ballet and the teachers are friendly and nice. A great place for a visit to town or all year round.

Just had my first class at The Rock Center for Dance. I tried their new tai chi class on this rainy day and was so glad I did. The instructor was super helpful with my posture/breathing/form, gave me a lot of special attention, and was just a super cool attentive person. I will be back for more tai chi at this beautiful and modern dance studio. I also want to try out the adults hip hop class and maybe learn a wedding dance if they offer that. Lastly I love how their location is right next to Grouchy Johns Coffee Shop and right off the highway.

Great place! Awesome instructors. Im so happy I chose The Rock for my daughter. She has learned so much and has has a lot of fun this year.

I love this studio so much haven’t been in this studio for a couple of months been busy does anyone know the song Shawn Hughes plays on his iPad for warm up I only remember this I want to be still.

Just watch some of there dance routines at the UNLV showcase at the cox pavilion.Out of all the dance studios that performed they looked the cleanest and tightest.Great studio!

A great, well-loved place for dancers of all ages. My 5-year-old son loves the tap classes.

First time me and my dance crew had been in a studio and we have to say, best first time experience ever!! Staff was very friendly, atmosphere was very professional, above all, a 5/5 place for dancers out there!

Teachers are so disrespectful to adults I can’t take it anymore done with it. I been there for 2 years never had a problem not mentioning the name of him but was very pissed today.

If you are curious about the American dance school, it is worth a visit. Just visiting is a nuisance to the children here, and actually registering and learning a dance class can also be a fun experience. There is a drop-in schedule on the homepage, so I recommend taking a beginner course. It is an hour lecture for 15 dollars per person.Here, you can see children learning dance such as ballet and hip-hop. Very energetic place.
