I used to go here all the time for haircuts when I lived in Cruces and have always left happy. My daughter had her first haircut here as well and she loved it. The students and instructors have always been nice! Im tempted to drive back down from Abq to get my haircut done here. Theres an Olympian school up here but not as well rated.

Everyone is so very nice. They all go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I had Ashley. So sweet and made sure she was doing everything right and I was happy with it. The director is awesome. On the ball with everything and everybody. I feel, job well done all. And I ended up with a nice hair cut and perm. Thank you. Ill be back.

This was my third visit and with every visit I’m pleased with the service. Today I received the best customer service to date, from the young lady that checked me in until cashing out. My appointment was for 11am and I was seated with Eliana at 10:55am. Eliana is great at her profession, she has great skills and talent. She gave me a beautiful haircut, it was exactly what I had asked for (which never happens when it comes to hair cuts). Her instructor, checked in a few times to guide her on a few steps. She followed instructions and applied her talent. She took her time until she got it perfect. I was very satisfied with the customer service I received.

The staff of this school are extremely toxic and actively participate in student drama. This results in teachers treating some students with little to no respect and forcing them to endlessly redo assignments without giving them the option of moving to the next phase.There is also little communication between day and night professors(as well as faculty drama). When a student switches from nights to days their potential months worth of work is haphazardly tossed aside and the student must redo all of that work. Costing students money and time they could be actually working. This is NEVER told to would be students and is not in any official documents. It shows a high level of unprofessionalism that would never be tolerated in a real Salon environment.There are teachers that are so engrossed in drama that they believe and spread these rumors about students. There was even a time two students were not allowed to work at the same time(day or night) because a student spread a rumor they were a toxic pairing.DO NOT COME HERE! Either as a customer or a student, this is not a good learning environment. DO NOT COME TO OLYMPIAN ACADEMY OF COSMETOLOGY.

I went today for a haircut and had a wonderful experience. Jerry gave me an outstanding haircut. He was fun, and made the experience very enjoyable. It was as if I was someone very special or a dignitary. I left feeling good. Jerry is an outstanding young man that has some major skills. Thank you again Jerry for a great time in your chair.

Horrible place!!!!! I started with this school and i regret it so much, it was the worst experience of my life!!It is a dirty place.The director is very unprofessional, students come in high and teachers just tell them to spray body spray, and let them work on clients on that condition! It is not safe and i was not going to put up with that!!! They really need to get the owners up there because it is a total disaster!!I do not recommend this school for your career or to get services done.

I cannot believe the cruelty I encountered at this establishment at 2:16 pm Saturday September 30, 2017. First I need to say that Google Search puts your Saturday hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. I walked into your establishment using my walker (I am only 49 years old) which took me more energy than you can imagine, as I was in the hospital for over a month where during a simple procedure a medical mistake made me have 30 strokes, I went blind in one eye and ended up with bacterial meningitis. At this time I cannot shower because I have a semi-permanent I.V. So today Saturday I took my sponge bath and told husband to take me to your school to get my hair washed, nothing else just a simple wash, no blowdry, nothing. I arrived at 2:16 pm. The very rude obnoxious lady at register says Sorry we dont take clients after 2:00 I tell her all I need is my hair washed. She says we close at 3:00. I told her web says you close at 5:00. I say please, all I need is my hair washed and it took me so much energy to just get from my car to front door. She says, well Policy, is policy You had several students standing around doing nothing. I say please She says nope, policy is policy Your establishment is HEARTLESS. that woman is HEARTLESS. 44 minutes before you close and you couldnt do one simple hairwash with no other services. SHAME SHAME SHAME on your business. I will make sure that I will spread word of this treatment to everyone I know. I cant believe you turned away a sick person who took all her energy to give you business. I will pray for you and the heartless woman who turned me away.

This place is great when Im in Las Cruces I take my little nieces to have the little diva package and they love very friendly staff and the front desk lady Joanie is amazing very friendly .

I usually walk in and am seated for a hair cut within a reasonable time. Today was the first time I called and made an appt with a particular stylist. After just over one hour of waiting I was finally seated for a hair cut. Why make appts if your shop can’t keep them? That’s why appts are made is to have the stylist you request at a particular time. A one hour wait for a scheduled appt is unconscionable. They gave me excuses but it really boiled down to they don’t want to take responsibility for mismanaging their scheduled appts.Ar one point I was told my stylist was almost finished with her client and would be with me shortly. Then about another 15-20 minute wait. Then the stylist came out and said she was almost finished and then another 5-10 minute wait. I had to have a hair cut today and that is why I waited.If management can’t tell at what stage a stylist is at in working on her client or is unaware that a client with an appt is waiting and determine the wait time for that next client then something is amiss. There was never even an offer to have another stylist cut my hair so I would not have to wait longer.TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS (and inactions). Making excuses is inexcusable.Olympian Academy, please respond. Tell everyone your excuses.

This place is a scam. I attended school there and was looking to go back. It took a week to find out that my transcripts and hours i put in while first attending were now Void. This news was so strange to me considering the fact i paid for those hours and transcripts are a legal documentation that i had every right to obtain. After contacting the state board of New Mexico i was told that what was being told to me was false. From there i went to the Vice President of Olypian and was told i would get my transcripts sent to me and i could file a complaint.Now, a month later i still have yet to reciece my transcripts. Was told to call the Board again and talk to a lady named Patricia and she could get my transcripts to me.After calling her and talking to her i was told pretty much no transcripts or hours were sent to the board and i was on my own.I find it so sad a student can not trust their own school and has nobody at all to call to help when schools are being shady and have no respect for the fact this is someones school, career, and livelihood. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ATTEND THIS SCHOOL.

I just got a haircut there because Vista college students where so rude and didnt have appointments but i am so glad they didnt take me because thanks to that i discovered Olympian and omg everyone is so nice they offer way more services and better prices than vista college, my hair looks awesome and will definitely come back!
