I danced with Waldo and Jacqueline for many months. They are both wonderful teachers and are focused on making sure youre learning at a pace youre comfortable with, and have fun while doing so. They have continuously provided the latin dance community with available online lessons throughout the pandemic, and are committed to making this a great experience.

Waldo and Jackie are excellent teachers. I have learned so much from them and always appreciate their support and kindness. Even during the pandemic they are there for us creating a safe environment to dance.

SalsaKnox classes are great! You can really tell that Jacqueline and Waldo are both passionate and genuinely love what they do. They work well with advanced dancers and are especially good with beginners (even with mixed skill levels in the same class. Not sure how the manage to make that work, but they do). Even with zero experience, I never felt intimidated because no matter how many mistakes I made, they would always take time to help me with technique, choreography, or any other details I was having problems with. As a beginner, this helped me build some confidence about coming back again and again. In my opinion, they are the best in Knoxville for beginners. I enjoyed the time I spent in their classes.

I was so impressed with all the people how courteous and patient and feel like family. We hired salsa Knox to be in some videos for my husband who is a singer they were professional on time had their dance moves together and ready also I have also been to some classes I cant wait to get back I learn something new every time. If you havent tried to class yet youre really missing out I highly recommend it.

Ive been taking group lessons for salsa and bachata from salsa knox for about a year now. I would strongly recommend this group to anyone interested in having a good time while learning how to dance! They have classes for all different levels, from beginners all the way to advanced and also provide fun dance parties on Friday nights for everyone to practice their moves. Partners are not required, and there are always plenty of people to dance with! They are family friendly, and just a wonderful group of people.

Best place to learn how to dance salsa

I came here in February with ZERO prior experience and a bundle of nerves. It cant be easy to teach beginners, but they made Latin dance seem so very doable, even from the first day.Their calm, clear, sequential approach has made it possible for me to learn steps that would otherwise seem completely intimidating. Although I am an introverted type, since enrolling here, I have made some new friends and actually look forward to Salsaknox Friday Night parties!

Great instuctors, step by step, no experience needed. After the classes they throw a party and everyone practices what they have learned, of course there are people who have more experience and more time dancing and its awesome to watch them dance and learn a step or two from them too. Great latin music, salsa, bachata, merengue...etc. friendly environment.
