This school is pretty decent to be honest it really depends on how you act and stuff the teachers are great classrooms are great. there is a lot of space and there are also good after school activities an also in school time activities there are sports you can play like basketball and gym if you like. but the thing is the lunch is where the not so good stuff comes in: poorness on the main food like cheeseburgers are like wet and stuff: the pizza are not always cooked all the way though and ETC... but in all horizon middle school is a good school to be in ;)

There is no such thing as a perfect school, so if youre looking for perfect, please- stop frustrating yourself. Horizon is an excellent public school. The teachers all share a common vision, and work as a team to bring it to pass. They truly hold your childrens best interest first and forefront. They are tough and disciplined where they need to be- to help mold our growing children into mature, responsible young adults. But, they are not building little robots- they encourage individuality, creativity, and self expression. I can honestly say that Horizon has EXCEEDED my expectations for a middle school and I would TRULY and HONESTLY recommend it to anyone. My daughter is in 7th grade and she has always been shy. This is the FIRST time in all of her years of schooling that she is actually happy at school. Im so pleased with Horizon and grateful to the excellent teachers and staff.

My son goes to Horizon middle and I really dont have anything negative to say about this school my son enjoys it and I do think the teacher are good they really help him with his work, I like this school. there is no perfect place in this word but as long as my son is happy I am happy.

No lockers, No good food, it was great till it turned into a tier 1 school, so they had to amp everything up. (they had to make everything healthy and strict.) Everything has changed now, DONT GO HERE.

This school is amazing the provide extra help at lunch and tutoring is amazing everything is neat has sports you get rewarded for good behavior.

The food is trash. Youll get lunch detention easily if you dont do something, for example if you dont sign up for something youll probably get lunch detention. Teachers are good as long as your on task. Coaches are okay as long as you dont get them angry because thats a whole different story (they give you very little time in the lockers to change) . The bus transportation is really bad (If your on a public bus) theres way to many kids, it unbelievable. But the most ridiculous part is you literally cant lean on the wall as if that poses some type of threat to students you literally have to stand on the second tile also you cant even high five students . The students just talk about there so called drama and are obnoxious. In my opinion I think its not a good school to go to. Overall its not that good of a school. Orange county schools are better.

First date of school and theres no transportation, the school bus didnt came to pic up the students and a bunch of students are going to miss the firt date those that dont have car..am really disappointed also no one in the front office pick up the phone. ...not good for first date of school ....

I mean its not bad or good it just depends on how u act and how u treat the teachers and if u do the work and stuff like that but I mean the food is mehh

This school is horrible. The staff either are too lenient or they are too harsh. They aren’t clear on instructions and they expect 6th graders to come in and act just like 8th graders they constantly contradict themselves it’s just all around a horrible inviroment

Teacher behavier: Teachers are nice and will give respect as long you come to school with pasion and pay attention and give respect back.Food quality: The food is fairly alright its not the best but its free food so dont judge.My opinion- Horizon Middle School is a great school. You come here ready to learn and thats exactly what you get. Maybe its not the same as Elementry because of the park and stuff but thats because we grown. But over all this is not a bad school it gives you what you came for which is knowledge.

This school is the best middle school I ever seen

I go here and it’s trash the deans are always on you about very simple things and they make it a big scene infront of everyone but will take you in private and tell you it’s not that serious their is a lot of drama and the way they deal with things is just terrible you literally have to stand on tile 2 and 4 outside of the class room which is dumb asf we should be allowed to just enter and get right to work this school to me isn’t all that great which is why they deserve a 1🤷🏾‍♀️

Dis school trash, they ran out of food 8 times, no lockers, so many fights, half the teachers dont care about you or your dreams, substitutes let us go on our phones(which is awesome but just letting most people know cause educashion is importan), theres assigned seats and most of the time theres no seats cause of big classes and the teachers send you out for not having a seat even when you dont have a seat( this happened 3 times to me and other random people)

This school is absolute garbage, they give you Saturday school for talking to your friends in another table but when another student does the same thing the just ignore them, the bus transportation is slow, if you report anything to the deans they dont do anything most of the time, if you go to the nurse if your stomach hurts or anything they arent gonna do anything, gym gives you a limited time to change ( I understand why but some people cant change in a flash), the warm-up gets you tired before we even start the main thing in gym, sometimes you wont be able to get a class you want, the deans office just assume anything and give you a suspension, give you to much work, teachers get mad for little things, at lunch they tell you the do stuff for your safety and not to be mean to us, yet they always say we suck,scream at us, the food on Thursdays are garbage they are always out of stock on everything, and there is a lot of more stuff I can say but yeah, may the teachers send you to refocus for forgetting your notebook, god help you if you come to this school.
