I love this place! If your kid has interest in music - this is the place to go. The instructors are great and my daughter loves them. They challenge her to do her best and she loves it. She joined a performance group and was terrified. After 2 visits she is so excited to go every week! The staff makes the kids feel like they are truly in a band and allow them to try new things. I would highly recommend this place! I see little kids and high school kids walking in every week and think that is so cool. Love it!

I like the one on one lessons with the instructor, with the opportunity to select which band they want to perform in. And the staff is great at communicating with the parents- Nicole is wonderful! I also like that my 17 year old, who came in completely new to the instrument and performing, wasnt placed in a band with students 10 years younger than her just because she was a beginner. That was very important to us; we wanted her to have a place where she felt she belonged, and School of Rock has definitely made her feel like she belongs!!

SoR is incredible! The staff, the music, the entirety of the team. My daughter gets to pursue her passion for music through immersion and performance, while learning valuable life lessons shell carry her entire life.

The School Of Rock program is fantastic! The lessons are a lot of fun and they are helping me to achieve some goals that I never thought possible. Steve is an awesome teacher. He is very patient and helps me make progress even when I have not had much time to practice. He likes a wide variety of music and is game for trying any song that I might have interest in trying. That the lessons are online is extremely important to me. My work schedule is so unpredictable. Even though my lessons are in the evening, It is not unusual for me to have my hands on my laptop keyboard doing work, then switch to have my hands on my piano keyboard to start my lesson with Steve. Learning to play keyboards has been a lot of fun and the focus is always on learning the song. I cant read music but I am learning more about music notes just because I am learning the songs. I never knew I would want to know what is a Csus2, but I know it now. lol It is a huge challenge for me learning keyboards and it will be great to see what I am able to do with it in the coming weeks. With what I am seeing I can do now, I sure wish I would not have waited so long to sign-up with School Of Rock! But Im here now and its happening. :)

On top of providing instruction to competently play the guitar, School of Rock - Katy has gone far above what I would have ever expected to keep the kids connected and their music skills growing during the COVID shutdown. In the space of a week, the management and instructors pivoted to an online format, providing lessons online and opportunities for the kids to get together. They then added master classes, which the students can attend free of additional charge, to learn about topics such as music theory and the history of rock. My teenage son has really enjoyed this extra education and looks forward to his lessons and the group get togethers ever week. Thank you, School of Rock Katy!

My son absolutely enjoys being a part of the school of rock program. He feels part of a music community where he can learn to play music in a non-traditional way but with an actual group. Learning to play in a group teaches him communication skills and how to work with others as well. The instructors are amazing and have so much joy and passion for music. Its a great music program for those we want to learn not with just private lessons but to be a part of a group and build relationships.

School of Rock is fantastic. Our daughter loves to play the guitar and is set up with great teachers and a fun and safe atmosphere. These teachers / instructors are great and know their stuff. They have fun and get serious when needed. This is a top notch school.

School of Rock has been a wonderful experience for my teenage daughter! She has learned and progressed SO much in the year and a half she has been attending School of Rock. She moved from Rock 102 to performance program pretty quickly, and she had very little musical knowledge before she started, showing that it is a very effective program. We are very thankful for all School of Rock has to offer!

Children have fun while learning. I love how School of Rock approaches the study of music and my daughters teacher is amazing.

Instructor is knowledgeable and the group band is awesome! giving the students a good exposure to playing along with other instruments getting them prepared for stage performances . Give them a try, you will not be disappointed

My son likes to attend the classes and he has started liking the fact that he can play the instrument. We are only doing private classes now ...will join the performance based group after summer

I love School of Rock, Katy! Let me count the ways: private music lessons, knowledgeable instructors, weekly band rehearsal sessions, space to belong, teamwork, friendships, live performances, summer camps and rock star confidence!

What an enjoyable and educational week, the staff made it fun and its about performing rock music and having a go even though you may just be a beginner.Great song selection, couldnt believe my kids were singing and drumming to timeless rock from green day, AC DC, Jimmy eat world, imagine dragons....

We love it as parents and my kids enjoy the heck out of this place. Where was this idea when I was a kid?
