I didnt really like the school, but it got me into the medical field in Houston, Texas. Billing and coding has brought me into Radiology and I love it. The school is overpriced and the career planners arent that great. Im glad I went here but also I would not recommend this “school” to anyone.

I started w/ MMC as a student in 2010 and successfully completed 2 programs. I loved what I saw, learned, experienced, and the people so much that I decided to stay w/ the company and is now going on 8 1/2 years as an employee. What I have came to learn is you get out, what you put in. When I started I was a single mom and was working 2 part-time jobs just to make ends meet, but kept missing the mark. It didnt feel like living, just existing, I wanted to show my son more. One day I walked in the New River campus to get info and walked out a student. I went full time as a night student. It was hard work and sacrifices were made, but it paid off. I love what I do and is always here to assist you, anyone, and everyone, even if you just need an ear to listen or shoulder to lean on.*** In order to reap the benefits (graduate/certification), you have to sow the seeds (homework/reports) first.***

Job Placement assistance help me find full time employment, with benefits prior to my graduation. Some good instructors, some not so good instructors. I like the small class size, and the tutoring onsite. They need to make the campus a smoke free campus.

Ive attended several colleges and universities across the country, and this entire organization is a sloppy financial scam. Its a kindness to say they are less than truthful - theyll do and say whatever they need to in order to snare a student. $14,000 a year to attend an UNACCREDITED college is outrageous. Be especially aware and cautious if you are vulnerable, a displaced person, or of lower economic means. Jacksonville offers a far superior [accredited!], honest, 4 year college alternative at a fraction of the cost [in my case, $14,000 a year vs. $3,500 a year]. However, if youll pay anything to coast thru a couple of years for a useless degree, go for it. My sophomore year of high school was FAR more challenging. The material in no way resembles anything collegiate.I will say that for inexplicable reasons, and with only one [incredibly horrific] exception, some of the most outstanding instructors I have ever had taught me at MMC.

The programs that they offer are over priced. If you get a student loans to help with the cover of costs you will never make enough in the programs to really pay off those loans. Also, dont expect to transfer and try to bring the credits with you. They will not transfer and are completely useless. I am trying to further my career into nursing and I am going to have to completely start over my whole education.Their accreditation is also crap.I really wish I would have known all of this before Miller Motte.

The moment I decided to tour MMC-Jacksonville, my entire life began to change. My admissions representative was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient as I asked (what had to have felt like) hundreds of questions. They guided me through my application, enrollment process, and the first few weeks of classes while I got into the routine. I knew from the moment I walked in that I had an amazing group of people behind me that were just as determined to get me from enrollment to graduation as I was. From my admissions representative to the instructors of each of my classes to the members of Career Services, I knew each and every one of them was there for me whenever I needed. I’m graduating in a little over 2 months as a Certified Medically Assistant and couldn’t be happier with the decision I made. MMC-Jacksonville has given me the confidence and driven the success I needed to be exactly what I wanted to be in life. Miller-Motte has not only changed my life but my family’s as well. Thank you for being there for me every step of the way, MMC family!

Miller motte college sucks. I am enrolled in the school now at the new river campus in jacksonville and I hate it. My psychology teacher isnt even teaching psychology. There are a few good teachers there but most of them are not very good teachers. The library has hardly any books in it and the librarian is hardly ever in there so you can never get help with anything from her. And half the time when she does help someone she always seems like shes annoyed. I have to pay a huge loan after graduating from this school and it isnt worth it. All I do all day is discussion posts and replies to my other classmates. You see your teachers once a week and most of them dont teach you anything about the subject you are supposed to be learning. My psychology teacher only talks about writing papers and morning announcements. I have learning problems and this school is not helping me at all. There bathrooms are always dirty and smell horrible and their carpets all throughout the school are dirty. You do not get a book for your class so you do not have something to look at unless you go online to look at your online book which doesnt help at all because half the time the questions you have to answer cant be found in the book. Everything is done hybrid and it is the worst. DO NOT TAKE MEDICAL ASSISTING. I hate it so much. I should not have to sit here all day and work on discussion and reply posts and several different homework and project assignments. I thought high school was bad but I wish I was still in high school.

This college is the worst. They charge high prices and only care about getting your money. I applied to another college and found out that no other college recognizes Miller Motte. The instructors are overwhelmed and under paid and so dont give a damn about the students unless they fit the social, gender, or racial aspects that they themselves do.Never go to this place if you want to better yourself.

They will dis-enroll you without your knowledge then charge you for the classes and have you taken to collections.. your better off going to community college for what you pay for the useless degree you get here

So for one I went in here bc my friend needed help so I was gonna come and let her dye my hair. Ok so I asked for an ombre. I have blonde hair already and my roots have grown out. I just wanted my hair white/bleached. Anyways first I was told 35$. Then I was told 45. Then I was told 55. Ended up being 71$ and 7 hours later and my hair looked exactly the same. I was so frustrated. I left bc I didnt wanna stay any longer and them fix it so anyways I went to ulta in morehead city and asked for rhonda (my usually hair person) and she did a wonderful job! She dyed my hair 3 times bc it wasnt light enough for me and in 3 hrs. Paid 73$. Dont waste your money or time. Go to a professional. Basically same prices anyways. Would not recommend going here.

Do not dare waste your time on attending this school if you have plans on furthering your education the credits will not transfer to a community college you are going to pay more to get your degree or certification because it is a technical school I would explore before options before signing an agreement
