John did an awesome job getting me and my soon to be wife ready for our first dance. He was a great teacher and he even cut our first dance song to the way we wanted. Also Fred Astaire is very accommodating to busy schedules. 5 stars all the way!!!!!

Lake Houston FADS is a great place to learn ballroom dancing in an inviting and friendly environment. The entire team is wonderful and very supportive of all students. There is something for everyone: group classes, private lessons, monthly social dancing parties, performance and competition opportunities and now they offer online Watch Parties on FB for groups and private lessons. So you can literally dance in the comfort of your own home like no one is watching, because guess what.... no one is! ; ) Good energy and lots of fun! Def check it out if youve ever been curious or wanted to learn to dance. Free first group or mini private lesson to try it out, what do you have to lose?! Get out there and shake a tail feather! I am a student and personally have loved my experience so so much and you will too.

Supremely friendly and supportive studio. The instructors treat you more like friends than clients. A studio at which you can enter competitions and win, or just relax, learn, and have fun.

This is my happy place. I really enjoy every moment of the time that I spend dancing/ working out here. There is so much positive energy here. Their owner and all their instructors are wonderful, affectionate, very knowledgeable and they work with you on your dance moves. Its a great place to network and make new friends too. I highly recommend joining them if you want to learn to dance, add new skills, improve your focus or socialize.

I love this studio, the program, the staff. I feel so welcome here. And the dancing - it’s wonderful! There are so many chances to dance, to participate and be involved. Best hospitality ever ! I have never seen anything going wrong. Very motivating. This group is dynamic and very organized. Very motivating. Dancing is to walking what singing is to talking. I would totally recommend the Lake Houston Fred Astere Studio to anybody.

Best dance studios for adults in the area, super friendly teachers, very nice establishment, they can teach you whatever you want from ballroom to social dancing 🕺🏻 in a fun and easy way. They also provide you with social events to use your dancing and practice amongst other students which makes it quite fan and safe for beginners. In regards to prices they have something for everyone, depending what you budget is.

For a fun way to stay active and meet others, I highly recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio. The teachers are experienced dancers who can also impart their knowledge in a way thats easy to understand. The Fred Astaire method of progressing through levels gives you something to aim for and a feeling of accomplishment. The group classes and parties are both fun and informative as well as a good way to meet other students. You can get as involved as you wish by participating in shows and competitions or just enjoy dancing with friends in a fun, safe environment.

So far Ive only had lessons with Erika. Ive met Alex and interactedwith Louise, too, and they are wonderful people. Erika 1) made things a lot of fun, and 2) was very effective as a teacher - I advanced in technical skill quickly. She took the time to learn a little bit about me, in order to find the best ways to make what she was teaching relatable to similar experiences Ive had. Whether those experiences had to do with boxing or piano lessons as a child, she found a way to reach me where I was and then bring me up in skill. I couldnt say enough great things about her teaching.Alex and Erika both are not only superbly talented but also hold to the highest standards of professionalism.

As a continuing student since February 2012 Id like to offer my review of the Lake Houston Fred Astaire Studio. In 2015 new owners invigorated this studio. They brought in new instructors and are very selective with the coaches they use. Ive found the current studio organization to be outstanding. They are fun! More importantly they provide the highest quality instructions with both group and private lessons. Whether youre an experienced dancer or a novice theres a great experience awaiting you at this studio. Regular Friday parties add to the excitement and social atmosphere. Youll always find a friendly smile awaiting you and an unparalleled dance experience.

We have loved taking lessons at Fred Astaire Lake Houston! Although the instructors are top-notch dancers and judges, they take us at our own pace. It has been so much fun -- and great exercise!

Lake Houston group gave me not only the knowledge of dancing and also brought a lot of joy in my life. I never expected to be hugged like the way this group hugged me. They are professionals. We are really enjoying our private lessons with Ralph. He communicates clearly, is patient, and works well with my boyfriend that has never cared to learn how to dance. Thanks to Ralph, we are making dance lessons our date night.

My husband and I bought a package of lessons and have enjoyed it so much we purchased another package. We are having so much fun not to mention all the other benefits of dancing together. The instructors are phenomenal. The owners are very caring and attentive. The studio is spotless and everyone we meet is happy.

I highly recommend the Fred Astaire Lake Houston studio! It is a lovely studio with knowledgeable instructors ready to help you with all your dancing needs. Ive had a great time learning to dance with them! Come in as a couple or alone but do come and have a great time!!

My wife and I purchased a package of dance lessons in 2013 to prepare for our wedding. With the dance class, they offered a free pair of ladies dance shoes, which were supposed to be of great quality and high value, however when we went to pick up the shoes they were conveniently out of my wife’s size. Over the course of the next 2 years we were promised multiple times that they were on order and would be in ‘soon’. Low and behold, our 2 year anniversary is around the corner and we have yet to receive our shoes. Don’t trust the owners/management, very shady practices.

My husband & I started taking lessons here in Oct 16. At first I was extremely nervous & didnt think I would last very long with it. But here it is a month later & Im still with it and Ive actually learned a few things. My husband & I LOVE LOVE the dance instructors and the atmosphere here, because its more than just a dance studio its become a place for us to make friends in this next phase of our life. I would TOTALLY recommend it to all of our friends.

They can get anyone dancing. . .Im proof! Alex, Erica, Roberto, Becca and Josh create a great atmosphere for learning through a mix of private lessons, group lessons and no-pressure social dance opportunities just about every Friday night.

Had stopped by to signup for classes for myself, wife and two teens, was met by a young guy at the front desk, asked a couple of questions and then the phone rang, he then spent the next 15 minutes ignoring everyone talking to his boyfriend.Extremely rude and unprofessional, will go elsewhere and recommend to all to do the same.

The dance instructors are wonderful and patient! I learned a lot when I was training for the YMCAs Dancing with the Stars event in 2015. I recommend them if you want to dance for fun, for your wedding, someone elses wedding, etc. Fun place with practice parties on Fridays.

I had my 50th birthday bash @ This studio! It was AMAZING!!!!! Alex and his team are fantastic! I learned to do a solo Cha-Cha in 7 weeks for my party. I loved my experience and you will too. Dont wait put on your dancing shoes and get to Fred Astaire dance studio!
